1.) Doctors Need Degrees by KittyCarey
In the real world, it is not possible to be a doctor, a teacher, a scientist, or a lawyer without a degree. While the lowest levels of the career are something that anyone can do, very quickly you would find that the next job up is only available with the right qualifications. Other careers, however, don’t need to be so strict. Why would criminals or gamers care what sort of education you’ve had? And why do you need a degree to get any job in Paranormal?
Sims are divided into five categories depending on their education:
– Graduated sims have graduated university
– Diploma sims attended university and reached at least their Junior year before dropping out or being expelled.
– High School C sims achieved at least a C at high school but either never went to university or dropped out early (or were created in CAS)
– High School D sims achieved between D- and C- at high school.
– High School F sims failed high school.
Careers are divided into four different categories. Within each career category, there is a different maximum level for each type of sim, as well as a different chance of being promoted past that point.
2.) Work Mostly Weekdays by KittyCarey
This mod changes so that some careers are setup to have weekends off like you would more often than not find in real life. Such as the law career. Here are a list of careers it adjusts and can be changed with SimPE.
Architecture levels 7-10
Education levels 9-10
Journalism levels 8-9
Law level 10
Military level 5
Natural Science levels 6 & 8
Science levels 3-8
3.) Enter Career Track Fix by Lenna9
Fixed a bug where young adults could roll a want to enter a career track.
4.) Invisible Sims After Returning From Work by Lenna9
In the unmodified game, when your Sim is at level 10 of a law enforcement or natural science career and you use the Go to Work interaction on them, they return from work invisible, this mod fixes that.
5.) Cops Can Fight Burglars by Midge The Tree
Allows sims in the cop career track OR who used to be a cop NPC to fight burglars and regain your stuff. There’s a version called “pros can fight burglars” which allows for sims employed in the military, intelligence, or criminal career tracks to also fight burglars.
6.) Journalists Can Write Restaurant Guides by Midge The Tree
Gives the Freetime restaurant-guide-writing perk to those in the journalism career as well. Now includes NPC business reporters if you turn them playable. Also, there’s an “expect traits” version that’ll look for the avant-garde and natural cook traits like in @hexagonal-bipyramid‘s mod.
7.) Captain Hero by Pescado
OFB ll Nightlife ll University ll Base Game
because you want him to pee first so he doesn’t wet himself in a very unheroic manner when he returns home. If Captain Hero’s carpool is cancelled, he will receive the order to go to work shortly if he has no instructions on his queue and is not overdue.
8.) Casual Dress For Work by Squinge
This mod is only for Apartment Life. It’s based on Squinge and Ailias’ original mods to enable Sims to wear their casual (everyday) clothes to work instead of their crappy Maxis work clothes. Also enables Sims with custom body meshes (such as Athletic, Rio, Warlokk) to retain their own clothes for work.
