This mod will enable the Espresso machine for anyone who’s allowed to drink coffee.

Autonomous use of the espresso machine will “serve” instead of “make”.

Sims won’t autonomously drink coffee, espresso, or hot cocoa if they should be sleeping. If it is within 8 hours of a sim’s wake time, the sim will not drink caffeinated beverages. Wake time is determined by sleepclock (if one is found) or defaults to 6 am (if sleepclock is not installed or one is not assigned to that sim). Sims will be allowed to caffeinate if there are no free beds. This means your average sim with a wakeup time of 6 am will not drink coffee, etc. after 10 pm. This mod also prevents servos from ever drinking these beverages. These changes will not work for custom coffee makers, tea sets, or any other energy boosting drink.

Sims won’t autonomously juggle coffee or espresso cups.

6.) Espresso and Coffee Makers not on counters only by Marhis

This is a global mod which affects all the Espresso and Coffee Makers in game, except for custom ones (with their own GUID). You may now place these appliances on tables and end tables as well. Please note that the “making coffee” animation is complex and it may look weird at some angles of view, mostly because of the different height of surfaces, and the inevitable disalignment between sims animation path and object vertical placement.

Changes the espresso maker machine that came with university (not the buyable one from kitchens) so that the counters match the buyable countertop edge and top match with the espresso maker machine.

8.) Business Owners Can Be Baristas by Midge The Tree

In the vanilla game, if a business owner or family member attempted to work as a barista at the University espresso bar on their owned business lot, the game wouldn’t correctly set the espresso bar as having a barista and would stop customers from queuing up for coffee. This mod fixes that.

Sims no longer hike 30 miles in the snow uphill and against the wind both ways just so they can put their coffee cups on a table. If no surface is nearby, they’re content to just drop the damn thing. They’ll even put it straight into a dishwasher if one is really close! Sims no longer attempt to clean up cups still docked at their stand or barista cups, hiking halfway across the lot to do so(most noticeable in NL community lots with both restaurants and baristas).

This mod prevents all sims from autonomously juggling espresso cups.
