Sack Fix- Fixes a visual effect when the Matchmaker Bug when she delivers a genie lamp or date reward. In an unmodded game the bag doesn’t disappear but reattaches itself to her hip. This makes the bag vanish.

Wishing for Beauty has the side effect that visitors will ring your doorbell every 4 hours, day and night. This mod prevents them to visit your sims between 10 pm and 8 am. Everything else still works the way it’s designed to.

Removes the slur from three wants, one chance card, the dialog box where you select how much to pay for the matchmaker to set up a blind date, and the love potion catalog description.

This is a brand new social enabled for teens-up towards either a matchmaker NPC, a sim in the paranormal career track, or the 3t2 fortune teller mystic career (no problem if you don’t have it downloaded, it’ll still work fine).

The sims undergo the animation sequences from getting a blind date from the matchmaker NPC, except the fee is a flat 150 simoleons (which automatically gets added to the recipient’s family) and it ends with a popup containing one of the BV shrine’s fortunes. Some of these fortunes come with events attached, others don’t: the BV shrine has 4 strings associated with bad outcomes, 2 with good, 3 with nothing happening. Two of those strings have been moved from bad to nothing, which you can take as compensation for having to pay 5 times as much and not getting a vacation memory out of it. It comes in both autonomous and non-autonomous versions.

There are also versions that enable sims with high paranormal interest to tell other sims’ fortunes.

Makes it so witches can be asked for a blind date and sell potions. The blind date mod comes with a version that allows bigfeet to ask for dates, for those with bigfoot romance. Both mods properly give witches their money too, so it can give them a little supplemental income

Pescado’s AL Fixes is a giant cleanup patch for The Sims 2 Apartment Life. A lot of these are small but really annoying bugs that EA never fixed.

No longer required to greet Gypsy(impossible) or employees<->customers. The Gypsy matchmaker and some NPCs required have impossible greetings which could cause stuck interactions or errors. This mod fixes removes that broken requirement

Love Potion no longer restocks as nice potion instead. Shop bug: Love Potion would turn into the wrong item when restocked. Fix keeps it consistent.

Ten potions that will modify or add to various aspects of gameplay. Each potion can be purchased from the Gypsy Matchmaker and can be used in the same manner as the Love Potion, either from inventory or by clicking on the potion’s bottle if not in a sim’s inventory.

Buy potions to: stop jealousy, take birth control, increase fertility, increase or decrease a man to father a child, make your sim smarter or max your energy, poison sims, max your fun and become fit.

This mod prevents the gypsy from autonomously visiting your Sims houses you may still invite her if you wish.
