With this mod if you put maxis’s $20 driftwood sculpture OR the custom mermaid trait in your sim’s inventory and give them swimwear meant to look like a mermaid tail, your sim will grow a tail whenever submerged in water (bathing/hot-tubing). Mermaids will also always be naked hottubbers, to ensure they won’t ‘grow’ their tail until after they’re in the water. Affects children and up.

For Sims who are Never Nude: They will never get naked. They will change into their swimsuit instead.* If they are naked for whatever reason, they will be shocked, change into their last outfit and be embarrassed. Also, with CJ-LessNakedFreakout_expectNeverNude, Sims won’t freak out when they see their lovers naked. However, this won’t be the case for Sims with the Never Nude trait.

Sims who have @midgethetree‘s Mermaid trait and the Never Nude trait will change into their underwear so they will still have their mermaid transformation when submerged in water.

A global mod to make mermaids more siren-like! It affects three interactions: the ‘serenade’ flirt, singing karaoke, and singing at an open mic. All three will give the mermaid the love potion effect (including the flowers and hearts fix). mermaids will have 100% success rate with serenading non-mermaids – they still need to be close enough to the other sim for the option to actually show up in their pie menu, but once they’ve gotten that far they’ll never be rejected. With karaoke and open-mic singing they’ll sing well regardless of their creativity skill. The “watch” interactions are more attractive when the singer is a mermaid and watchers will always cheer rather than boo. Compatible with romantic standards.

This mod makes the “float on back” interaction raise energy for mermaids with -60 energy or less and b) push “float on back” for mermaids who experience energy failure while swimming, instead of killing them.

Do you want mermaids to use their swimwear as their mermaid tail (so you can pick different tails for different mermaids) or would you rather have mermaid tails act like career/NPC uniforms (so there are limited options and you don’t get to pick, but you can still give mermaids normal swimwear)?

This is a custom controller/global mod which will give mermaids some of the behavior of plantsims re: having a water need! This means mermaids’ hygiene will now also increase when they’re in the rain, a pool, or the ocean, and when their hygiene drops too low instead of getting stink lines they’ll pass out. They revive if rain, cheats, or a helpful friend with a watering can raises their hygiene.

Give tails to your mermaid Sims. This mod is not an overlay and can be found in swimwear only.

Before mermaids would change into their swimwear when playing with the Bon Voyage log roll. Now they will change into their underwear and transform into a mermaid if they fall off.

With this, mermaids can “Call A Dolphin” or “Call A Shark” when they are swimming in the ocean. They consume some energy to do it, if they don’t have enough energy the call will fail. They can’t call another dolphin/shark when there is already one in the lot, but having one gives you a special effect:
– *When a sim is near a dolphin, they’ll gain social over time.
– *When a mermaid calls a shark they’ll gain some fun, but any sim near the shark will lose comfort over time.

An adaptation of Midge The Tree’s take on mermaids and fairies. This mod is a version that gives them tails when they swim, separate from the swimsuit clothes (as a custom outfit). The Pros of this is that you can have any swinsuit and still have tails in the water without having to buy and assign them before. The Cons is that it’s always the same tail (correlated to hair color) instead of something you can choose, and elders will always have silver tails.
