1.) Allow puppy kitten toddler riders – Mod is listed under the following categories:

This mod allows puppies, kittens and toddlers to go in cars/community lots. They will move slow as babies of all ages move slowly.

2.) Allow strays on community lots – Mod is listed under the following categories:

This mod allows stray cats and dogs to appear and show up on community lots. It’s slightly different than allowing your already playable pets and babies go to lots, but rather pulls from available strays already in your neighborhood.

3.) Baby toddler food and feeding fixes – Found in the Toddler Mods Subcategory

Prevents Sims from magically getting a free bottle to feed babies or toddlers when the refrigerator lacks enough food points. A fridge must now have 3 or more food points (default amount unless you’ve hacked it) in order to produce a baby bottle. Also prevents Sims from getting “Toddler Mush” from fridges lacking 6 or more food points (by default unless amount is hacked). All of this prevents free bottles/mush when the fridge does not have enough food points because that is just cheating through a loophole in the game code.

Also has many cool features which are enabled by default. They allow the following behaviors. A Sim can gasp sit while feeding a bottle to a baby. Sims only do it if their comfort motive is at or below 50%. At above 50% comfort, they will instead feed the baby while standing, but first move away from the fridge after getting the bottle so that they don’t block other Sims from using the fridge. Smart milk will now work for a toddler that drank it while sitting in a high-chair, which was broken by default in the base game of 2004 and in every EP/SP. Bad (red) smart milk will also give its penalties.

4.) Better locations for food serving and dropping – Found in the Mealtime Mods Subcategory

Have you noticed Sims walking far distances all over the lot to find places (counters/tables) to put serving platters on, especially on apartment lots? How about the Sim who prepares a meal in their apartment and then serves it up on the rooftop tables instead of on the tables in their own apartment? This hack will eliminate most bizarre and unrealistic behaviors such as that.

5.) Better locations for eating – Found in the Mealtime Mods Subcategory

The hack forces Sims to choose more realistic locations to eat their food. It prevents them from wandering far distances just to sit at a specific table. So now your Sims won’t walk 10,000 feet up 4 floors to the far corner of the roof, if that is the only place where a table can be found that’s not in-use.

For food located within an apartment, forces the food to be eaten inside of that apartment. This means that Sims are not allowed to take the food out to communal areas. They must find a place to eat within the current apartment, or else they will have to eat standing up within that apartment. Food located in communal areas is not affected by this feature.

The feature above does allow a Sim to eat in a neighbor’s apartment, instead of taking the food all the way back to their own apartment to eat in solitude like a weirdo. This lets your Sims enjoy a meal with a neighbor at that neighbor’s apartment, instead of “stealing” a plate and running back home to eat it.

For all lots, will only choose eat locations that are 15 or less tiles away. If no chairs are available within that distance or if all of them are in-use, then the Sims will eat while standing up. The hack will work for all eating interactions of Maxis objects such as Serve a Meal, Grab a Plate, Get Leftovers, Pizza & Chinese Takeout eating, Get Snacks from Fridge, etc. It should work for most custom objects too, except for ones cloned from the Maxis Chinese Takeout boxes (single servings).

6.) Better Rod Humble visit – Found in the Rod Humble Mods Subcategory

7.) Call to meal fixes and place setting fixes – Found in the Mealtime Mods Subcategory

This hack changes the behavior of the “Call To Meal” interaction and of the place setting logic. When a Sim serves a meal, individual plates or bowls are set down at any available tables for all of the Sims (and greeted visitors) in the household. These are the “Place Setting” fixes:
– No longer sets a place for toddlers, since they are too young to eat adult food anyways (and they can not sit at a table either – only a high-chair)
– No longer sets a place for plantSims or servos, since they don’t need to eat human food (they lack a hunger motive)
– No longer sets a place for dead Sims (ghosts)
– No longer sets a place for sleeping Sims
– No longer sets a place for Sims that aren’t hungry (60%+ hunger motive)
– Prevents serving “toddler mush” to plantSims toddlers
– For meals prepared in communal areas of apartment lots, sets a place for all family members, guests, and apartment residents that are in communal areas
These are the “Call To Meal” fixes:
– No longer calls these Sims to the meal: plantSims, servos, toddlers, ghosts, sleeping Sims, non-hungry Sims
– No longer sends Sims to empty plates/bowls to eat, since that just causes the interaction to get canceled
– Calls multiple Sims to a serving platter, instead of just 1 Sim
– While visiting a neighbor’s apartment, allows all Sims inside of that neighbor’s apartment to be Called To The Meal (instead of no one at all being called, as the game did by default).
– It also prevents grabbing plates/bowls from empty serving dishes, which was a glitch present in every EP/SP and the base game. It had usually occurred when 2 Sims each tried to grab a plate when only 1 serving was left. The game let each one grab a plate, with the last one coming from an empty platter.

8.) Cat litter box cleanable by pregnant Sims – Mod is listed under the following categories:

Allows cat litter boxes to be cleaned by all Sims, even if they are pregnant.

9.) Cell phone calls cost money – Found in the Phone Mods Subcategory

Instead of being free, cell phone usage will now cost Simoleons. The
amount charged can be a flat-rate fee for each call and/or be based on
the total time spent on the call. By default, the hack is configured to
charge 1 Simoleon at the minimum per call with the total usage time
added in as well. The usage charge is set by default to 1 Simoleon for
each 5 minutes spent on the call.

All cell phone calls will be affected by the hack, including both outgoing calls and incoming ones. This hack will affect custom content cell phones as well, with the exception of the “Call Taxi” option while on a community lot.

10.) Community lot normal speed arrival – Found in the Community Lot Mods Category

Forces the game to stay at normal speed upon arrival at the destination community lot. An added bonus is that you get to actually see the beautifully smooth animations of the vehicle arriving on the screen and traveling toward the phone booth. Rather than it all flying by over the course of 1-second with jerky animations at 3x speed.

11.) Cooking uses money instead of food points – Found in the Fridge Mods Subcategory

In lieu of using food points (groceries), each meal prepared will instead cost money. This occurs on all types of lots (residential, business, community). Your money will go into the negative if your Sim lacks the Simoleons (but only on residential lots). Consider the situation to be that you paid in advance with a credit card.

12.) Do not leave without me – Found in the Community Lot Mods Category

A game code glitch makes an owned vehicle (and possibly a taxi too) leave before all of the passengers have gotten in. This hack forces the vehicle to wait until every last one of the passengers has entered the departing vehicle.

13.) Dog and cat pet age duration – Found in the Pet Age & Pregnancy Mods Subcategory

Reduces a pet Sim’s elder life state. In a default game a pet may live up to 41 years while this hack shortens this by several days depending on wither it is a large dog or cat.

14.) Eat at neighbor’s apartment v1.1 *DISCONTINUED* – Found in the Apartment Mods Subcategory

A Sim will eat in the apartment they are currently in or visiting, instead of taking the food all the way back to their own apartment to eat in solitude like a weirdo.

This hack changes 5 aspects of the money tree’s behavior.
– Makes the tree only harvestable by Sims with a wallet (playable Sims)
– Allows playable visitors to keep the funds from harvesting the tree
– Sims will always succeed aspirationally when harvesting the tree
– Decreases the amount of money obtained each time you harvest a money tree. It is now a random number between 10-15 Simoleans instead of the original amount of 40. Additionally, it now takes 24 hours until the money tree can be harvested again, instead of the original 6 hours. (both the amount and the regrowth time are customizable, which allows you to convert this hack to “easier money tree”)
– Automatically waters the tree after it is harvested (can be disabled)

18.) Harvestable produce restocking fix – Found in the Harvestable Mods

Produce comes in 3 different qualities: Bland, Tasty, Mouthwatering. Each quality type has a unique monetary value. So Mouthwatering Produce will sell for a higher price than Bland Produce. Fish come in all sorts of different species and sizes, each being worth a different amount of money.

There is a problem in the game code though. When you restock a produce item, it may be replaced with one of a different quality. So if you had a Bland Cucumber on sale for $11 and it got restocked with a Mouthwatering Cucumber, the sale price would still be $11 for that new Mouthwatering variety. The game should be setting the price to the value of that new Mouthwatering Cucumber, which is $34. Had you placed a brand new Mouthwatering Cucumber up for sale, the price would have been set for $34. So it is only restocking that is buggy.

Fish already restock correctly. But this hack will correct the problem for produce, by only allowing a piece of produce to be restocked with another one of the exact same type at the exact same quality. This way, you won’t be “giving away” your valuable Mouthwatering produce at super-low Bland prices.

Note: this hack essentially separates different qualities of produce into separate objects. So when you are out of a particular quality of the produce that is for sale, the game will display this standard message:

There are no more harvestable items in the owner’s inventory. Harvest some more items and the out of stock products will be replaced.

You may not actually be “out” of that item, but instead just out of it in the quality level that is required to correctly restock it.

19.) No babysitter needed for community lot travel – Mod is listed under the following categories:

Allows travel to community lots without requiring a baby sitter (nanny) to watch your toddlers and babies.

20.) No free food with refrigerator (except at dorms) – Found in the Fridge Mods Subcategory

All brand new refrigerators, except those at dorms, will come with 0 food points to start with. So you will have to buy food at a store or as delivery over the phone. Since when does a brand new refrigerator from a store come fully stocked with chilled food in real life? This hack makes the game more realistic.

21.) No free food with refrigerator (including dorms) – Found in the Fridge Mods Subcategory

All brand new refrigerators will come with 0 food points to start with. So you
will have to buy food at a store or as delivery over the phone.

22.) No inheritance after elder dies – Found in the Life & Death Mods Subcategory

Prevents the inheritance money from being paid to the friends and/or family of a deceased elder. When the elder dies, money materializes from nowhere to pay all of that Sim’s friends/family. You might think it is life insurance money, but then again, you never pay into life insurance anyway. It is just free money that appears out of nowhere making the game way too easy. And no it is not a portion of the elder’s funds (earned money) nor the value of their estate.

23.) No watchout for driverless vehicle and no shuffling – Found in the Car Mods Subcategory

This hack stops pointless “Watchout!” interactions, similar to the antiwatchout hack from MATY. While that hack conflicts with “Vehicles cost money to drive” hack, this one does not. You should also read about the problems with the MATY hack in the Known Conflicts section.

24.) Only vehicles can use garage doors – Found in the Car Mods Subcategory

Prevents both human Sims and pet Sims from using the electric garage door as a means to enter the garage and/or the house. They will now be required to use a normal door to enter. So be sure that the electric door is not the ONLY means of entering the house or garage. Otherwise, humans and pets could become trapped in the garage after their vehicle drives in!

This mod is a replacement for the old one made by Jordi, which no longer works correctly when AL or M&G are installed.

25.) Optimize vehicle speed – Found in the Car Mods Subcategory

Reduces in-use lag and graphical freezing for ownable vehicles and also a little bit for taxies (though not as much as for ownables). But no, it does not increase or decrease the speed at which the vehicle moves while you are driving it. By default, it also shuts off the car stereo/music before the driver exits the vehicle, but only if it was a return trip (meaning the vehicle just recently returned to the driveway after a trip off-lot). If you just sit in the vehicle for fun, turn on the stereo, exit the vehicle, then the music will still stay on to allow your Sims to dance to the car stereo music.

26.) Pet modifications – Mod is listed under the following categories:

Manage & creates extensive modifications for pets and their interactions.

– Allows playable already owned pets to visit all lots without their owners
– Allows Puppies & Kittens to show up as visitors on all lots
– Allows Sims to adopt stray Puppies & Kittens
– Enables randomization of the age (life stage) of newly created stray pets
– Allows pets from the “adoption pool” to visit lots (disabled by default)Allows pets in “shop display cases” to visit lots (disabled by default)
– Allows increase or decrease of the maximum number of stray pets created. By default, increases the maximum number of stray pets to 20 dogs and 15 cats.
– Allows Pets, Wolves, & Skunks as walkbys on all college lots
– Allows Pets as walkbys on college Secret Society lots (disabled by default)
– Allows Pets, Wolves, & Skunks as walkbys on Vacation House (residential) lots
– Prevents the following interactions from aborting when used with visiting (non-controllable) Puppies & Kittens on all lots:Bond, Adopt, Play With, Greet, Chase Off, Nuzzle
– Allows Puppies & Kittens to travel to and from Community Lots with your Sims (but requires a separate hack)

27.) Pregnancy controller fix – Found in the Pet Age & Pregnancy Mods Subcategory

When a Sim becomes pregnant or when a pet Sim is ready to give birth, a PC (pregnancy controller) is created to handle the pregnancy and birthing process. After a human gives birth, her PC is removed from the lot because it is no longer needed. But a Pet’s PC will not be removed after that Pet gives birth. It will remain on the lot eternally, even after that Pet is dead and buried.

Also, a brand new PC is created each time the same Pet gives birth. So consider your Pet giving birth today, and then again 2 years from now, and yet again 4 years from now. This will create 3 permanent (and completely unused) PCs that infect your lot until the end of time. Just imagine how many excess PCs are on your legacy lots that had many generations of Pets giving birth. Well how about 30, 50, 100, or even 150+?

So this hack will remove a Pet’s PC after it gives birth, just like the game already does for human Sims. It will also remove any and all old (unused) Pet PCs that are still infesting your lot from when before my hack existed.

28.) Random chance fix – Found in the Chance Card Mods Subcategory

There is code in Nightlife and all higher Expansion/Stuff packs which determines random chances. Many areas of the game make use of it, mostly to allow things to happen randomly (based on a percent). Will a townie walkby? Will drinking that special juice give you an extra skill point? And so on.
In FreeTime and all games released after it, Maxis changed that code and it now calculates the chance incorrectly. Something that should only occur 50% of the time, will now occur 66% of the time. An event that should only take place one-third of the time (33%), will now occur one-half of the time (50%). While it may be hard to notice such things during actual gameplay, the glitch still deserves to be fixed because it is making the game behave improperly.

29.) Take Off Aspiration Rewards Before Eating – Found in the Mealtime Mods Subcategory

This is an addon meant to be used with the “Twins fixes and serve meal fix” hack. But this “addon” is actually standalone too, meaning it doesn’t really need “Twins fixes and serve meal fix” to be installed. The addon supplements the “take off aspiration rewards before eating” feature of the main hack. It allows the rewards to be removed in even more situations than the main hack does. Those extra situations are defined below:
– getting snacks and cans from a fridge
– buying snacks and cans from a vending machine
– eating snacks already on the lot
– drinking from cans already on the lot
– eating pizza
– eating Chinese takeout food

Neither the main hack nor this addon will take off rewards for:
– drinking coffee or espresso or hot chocolate
– drinking lemonade from a lemonade stand
– drinking juice from a juice stand
– drinking liquor or juice from a bar
– drinking a glass of water
– drinking from a toasting set

30.) Taxi charges money – Found in the Community Lot Mods Category

Riding a taxi will now cost you Simoleons for each trip you take. The amount charged will vary based on which cost MOD you are using. The charge is usually either related to the distance between the source & destination lots or is a flat rate fee for each trip. You must download a “cost MOD” or else the hack will have no effect and just cause an error preventing you from riding any taxi!

31.) Toasting fix – Found in the Holiday & Celebration Mods Category

Sims who are off-lot will no longer show up in the “Toast To” or “Toast With” pie-menu choices for Toasting Sets. Neither will visitors or walkbys who have not yet been greeted. Both sleeping Sims and dead Sims (ghosts) will no longer be available for toasting either. The “Titania Vineyards 1914 Toasting Set” and any custom content sets should be affected.

32.) Twins fixes and serve meal fix – Found in the Baby Mods Subcategory

Fixes issues related to twins being born, especially when you have other hacks that increase the maximum number of family members allowed per household. There is even an option to customize the chance that eating cheesecake will result in twins, instead of using the game’s default “chance” of 100%. The hack comes pre-configured with that chance set to 20%.

33.) Vehicles cost money to drive – Found in the Car Mods Subcategory

Driving ownable vehicles will now cost you Simoleons for each trip. The amount charged will vary based on which cost MOD you are using. The charge is usually a percentage related to the vehicle’s current depreciated value and/or its initial purchase price. A charge can also be set for Walking to and from Community Lots, which is a new feature of the Bon Voyage expansion.

34.) Wake up apartment neighbors fix – Found in the Apartment Mods Subcategory

There is a little problem in the game code. After your neighbors go to sleep, they technically never wake up. Yes they do appear to be awake. They leave their apartment, go to work, answer the door when you knock (if they’re in the mood), and so on. But the game code still leaves them classified as being asleep. Many hacks which check to see if Sims are awake on the lot will fail for Apartment Neighbors because they’re considered to be sleeping all day long. This hack fixes the glitch. No it doesn’t forcible wake them up and make them leave their apartments. It just fixes a data value that was classifying them as always being asleep.

35.) Water “half tile” flowers fix & Water inaccessible flowers fix – Found in the Gardening Subcategory

There are 2 hacks included here.

1- The first one allows Sims to water one-half tile flower beds, even if a diagonal fence or foundation runs through the tile.
2- The second one, named df_water_inaccessible_flowers_fix.rar, does the same but also allows you to water all flowers regardless of their location on the lot, including completely inaccessible or blocked ones. It works for the “full tile” flower beds if the tile is completely surrounded by fences, walls, or foundations. And it allows for the disposal of all dead flowers, even if 100% surrounded by fencing or if completely inaccessible (such as using cheats to put flower beds on your roof!).
