1.) Clean Installer – Found in the Program Files Subcategory

A tool to categorize, catalog, install or remove custom content. It has built in unrar and unzip routines, as well as possibility of installing dozens of files with single click. It has built in unrar and unzip routines, as well as possibility of installing dozens of files with single click.

2.) Constant Temperature for All Sims – Found in the Weather Mods Category

ConstantSimTemperature is a global mod which will maintain a comfortable temperature for all of your sims by pushing their temperature back to a normal state of green whenever their thermometer becomes blue (cold) or red (hot). You will no longer need to worry about this aspect of Seasons.

3.) ConvertiWall 1.2 – Change Wall IDs on a Lot – This mod can be found in the following categorizes:
// Build Mode Mods Subcategory
// Program Files Subcategory

The ConvertiWall program will change all walls, within a specified area on a lot, from one type of wall (Wall ID) to another. It can be used to create “foundation roofs”, which will reduce the price of modern homes with interesting roof lines. Here is an example. It can also be used to change brick foundation walls to normal walls, to allow windows and doors to be placed into “daylight” basement walls. As well, it can be used to change a custom wall, such as Numenor’s “Unleveled wall”, to a standard TS2 wall. This is helpful for downloaders who do not want to install custom walls when downloading lots. It is also helpful for lot creators who want the convenience of custom walls while building, but do not want to require the end user to install custom walls. For more information about custom walls, see the “Custom Walls Repository & Index.

4.) Enhanced Floor Shader – Found in the Build Mode Mods Subcategory

This is a replacement for the standard EA material shader for floors. This floor shader provides the following enhanced features:

– The shader will now recognize the alpha channel for floor edge textures. This means that the floor edge can now be completely invisible, or have partial transparency. For example, this mod now makes it possible to remove the floor edges completely, when combined with Mootilda’s Invisible Floor Edge.
– The original EA floor shader would reduce the brightness of any floor edge texture by half. This meant that it was impossible to create a light-colored floor edge texture. This enhanced floor shader removes that restriction, so that textures will appear as expected. You can see the difference in the “white” floor edge texture at Fairy Forest.

Please note that this mod is not useful without a corresponding floor edge texture. The EA floor edge does not have an alpha channel and will just be unnecessarily brightened. This mod can be used to brighten the floor edge textures from Fairy Forest and Psychosim, and Mootilda has a set of floor edges which fully utilize the new functionality in this mod.

5.) Fix Lot Value after using the Stay-Things Shrub – Found in the Moving Mods Subcategory

The Stay-Things Shrub from SimLogical is a wonderful mod, which allows your lot to remain furnished when the family moves out. Unfortunately, it has an inadvertent side effect: all objects which would have been deleted from the lot (without the shrub) will be valued at zero when calculating the lot value. This means that your lot will not be properly valued, often being undervalued by tens (or even hundreds) of thousands of simoleons. This undervaluation cannot be fixed by buying, building, or packaging the lot. The StayThingsShrub Fixer will undo this side effect, ensuring that your unoccupied lot value includes the current value of all objects on the lot, so that the next family to move into the lot will pay its real value. Note that this mod is only useful on an unoccupied lot.

6.) Fix subhood selection – Found in the Neighborhood Mods Category

These mods will allow you to select from a list of downtowns and shopping districts, by removing the large button which prevents the display of the entire list. The mods will also properly display a scroll bar if there are too many universities, downtowns, shopping districts, or vacation destinations to display in the available space, so that you can easily see the entire list.

7.) Grid Adjuster – Found in the Program Files Subcategory

The TS2GridAdjuster will allow you to adjust grid elevations on a Sims 2 lot, similar to what you can do with the “constrainFloorElevation” cheat. It will easily allow you to create negative elevations, to create “real” basements (with no slope), to create walls which are less than 4 clicks high, and to create floors which cross over each other.

8.) Hood Checker – Found in the Program Files Subcategory

The HoodChecker will examine your neighborhood, looking for signs of corruption, and provide you with a detailed report of everything that it finds. If desired, it will attempt to fix some of those problems.

9.) Hood Replace 2.3: Replace Neighborhood Terrain – Found in the Neighborhood Mods Category

The HoodReplace program will copy any selection of: terrain, roads, bridges, trees and decorations from one Sims 2 neighborhood to another, completely replacing the selected elements from the existing neighborhood.

10.) Lot Adjuster – This mod can be found in the following categorizes:
// Home Mods Category
// Program Files Subcategory

The LotAdjuster allows you to modify a “Sims 2” lot in a variety of ways, including:

– Enlarge a lot up to a size of 60 x 60 lot-sized tiles, which is the EA-imposed TS2 limit
– Enlarge a lot over the road; allow building on both sides of the road.
– Shrink a lot; allow building to within one tile of the edge of a lot; create pseudo rowhouses.
– Shift a building on a lot by expanding one side and shrinking the other.
– Move a lot within a neighborhood; move a lot away from the road.
– Add and remove roads; create a roadless lot; create a lot with multiple roads: corner lot, alleyway, service road, square.
– Unlock tiles on a lot.
– Fix vehicle and pedestrian portal locations, as well as the location of the mailbox, trash can, and phone booth.
– Fix the edges of a lot: smooth, flatten, or match neighborhood terrain.
– Fix crashing beach lots.

11.) Lot Compressor – Found in the Home Mods Category

The LotCompressor will make your lots smaller, so that they are easier to share. A “compress all” feature allows you to compress all of the lots in an entire neighborhood or subhood.
