1.) Cordon Bleu by Hexagonal-Bipyramid
Some trait mods relating to cooking!
Clumsy Sims have more chance to burn food or cause a fire when cooking (+10%).
In an unmodded game, the chance to burn food depends on the Sim’s cooking skill and the food complexity. It can be from 5% for skilled Sims, 30% for food that Sims just unlocked or 10% for food they learned 1 skill point after. Clumsy Sims have +10% more chance and Natural Cooks have 0% chance. Even if a Sim has both the Clumsy and the Natural Cook traits, the chance to burn food will be at 0%.
2.) Naturally Good At Their Job by Hexagonal-Bipyramid
This mod makes promotions easier to obtain for Sims who have a trait that fits with their current career. For these Sims, they can still have a chance to be promoted even if they have one (1) skill point OR one (1) friend behind the usual requirement. Also, Sims might have a chance to start at a higher level in these careers if they found it on the computer.
Here is the list of careers with their traits. One trait is enough for having the bonus:
Culinary → Natural Cook
3.) No Need Aspiration Benefits by Hexagonal-Bipyramid
– Avant-Garde and Natural Cooks can write restaurant guides even if they don’t have the aspiration benefit to do so.
– Family-Oriented Sims and Natural Cooks can make Grandma’s Comfort Soup without having this benefit. They must have a certain amount of Cooking skill points in order to make it if they don’t have the benefit: 6 points for Family-Oriented and 3 points for Natural Cooks (and Sims with both traits).
4.) Still a Child at Heart by Hexagonal-Bipyramid
This part is about toys (most of them)
– Children with the Natural Cook trait will always make good muffins from the Rip Co. Little Baker Oven . Absent-Minded children will always do confused animations when making one.
5.) The Sweet Scent of Books by Hexagonal-Bipyramid
– Natural Cooks get more fun from reading Cooking books (not to be confused with the book used to study Cooking skill).
6.) What’s Good On TV? by Hexagonal-Bipyramid
Natural Cooks love the Cooking channel
The likeness of a channel for Sims who don’t have any of these trait will be based on their age just like in an unmodded game. Sims can either hate, dislike, like or love a specific channel.
7.) Journalists Can Write Restaurant Guides by Midge The Tree
Gives the Freetime restaurant-guide-writing perk to those in the journalism career as well. Now includes NPC business reporters if you turn them playable. Also, there’s an “expect traits” version that’ll look for the avant-garde and natural cook traits like in @hexagonal-bipyramid‘s mod.
