This item makes it possible for you to use your cellphone and throw parties on community lots.

Eliminates the “feature” of AL which caused guests pester your playable sims to say goodbye. Guests will now just leave.

4.) No Aging During Party — Don’t lose a day and throw a party! by Jordi

This mod disables the automatic aging as long as any party is active. This should give you the chance to send or bring the Sim to the birthday cake and have a normal birthday. Aging is also disabled during other types of parties (such as house parties, weddings, etc.). Additionally, the aging transition can now be cancelled (even if you do not throw a party). If you cancel it the transition will return at the next full hour (19:00h) and every full hour following that, until the Sim age transitions. If you do not cancel it the Sim will transition as normal. Elder aging (dying of old age) is not affected by this mod. Pets are also not affected.

5.) Throw Party menu fix for UK English players by Jordi

Ever since Pets, anyone who has either Holiday Pack or Edition (both the 2005 and 2006) ones, and is playing in UK English (the 24-hour clock), has two “Throw Party” menus on the phones: One for all standard parties, and one for the “New Year’s Bash”. The cause is a typo in the Party Pack override package: EA used the ellipsis character “…” instead of three dots: “…”. By placing the attached mod in your game this error is corrected, and you will only have one “Throw Party” menu again.

6.) Autonomous gift giving at parties by Kestrellyn

This hack allows sims to autonomously give each other gifts during parties. They will not actually give each other things from their inventories, they will actually purchase a totally new object and give it to the other sim. You can have birthday party style giving, where everyone give gifts to a particular sim, or Christmas party style giving, where everyone gives gifts to everyone else. Moreover, positively received gifts will increase the party score! Rejected gifts will naturally decrease the party score.

Sims can no longer invite pets to parties, which of course is completely inefficient.

8.) Police Party Break Up Fix by Lenna9

When cops break up a party, they wait for all Sims to leave the lot. However, they also wait for ghosts, which of course can’t leave, meaning the cops wait until morning. This has been fixed, now cops ignore ghosts.

9.) Townies Attending Parties Fix by Lenna9

In the unmodified game, if you invite downtownies or social group townies to a party, they will never show up – the message Missing some of your party guests… appears on the screen. This has been fixed.

10.) Loud Parties Tuning Mod by Midge The Tree

A mod that makes it more lenient about which parties cops breakup. The mod can be tunable to come more often or less. For example, in a default game, a “loud” party consists of having more than eight Sims on the lot, after 11pm, and a stereo present. If these requirements are met, then there is a 50% chance a cop will show up or not.

– There is now, one less than the percent chance cops will come break up a party if the criteria for a loud party is met.
– The earliest the cops can show up to your party is now 1AM to 6AM.
– The minimum number of Sims during a party now needs to be 10, not 8.

11.) Throw Party Want All Residents by Midge The Tree

The generic “throw a party” want will be fulfilled for any resident in the active family when a party is thrown. There’s also an additional ‘party success/failure want all residents’ mod so residents will have wants/fears for having a good/bad party fulfilled even if they aren’t the primary host.

Throw Party for Birthday/House/Anniversary parties should no longer jump if
an excessive amount of dead wood is present in the neighborhood. Sims will
now only be able to invite people they actually know, but this is no real
loss because invited people not known by the calling sim would never attend
anyway. Not strictly necessary for TS2U but prunes down the list to people
who might actually have a snowball’s chance in hell of showing up.

Sims no longer hike 30 miles in the snow uphill and against the wind both ways just so they can put their cups on a table. If no surface is nearby, they’re content to just drop the damn thing. They’ll even put it straight into a dishwasher if one is really close!

This mod prevents sims from rejecting your sims invite to a New Years party.

This mod makes sims always accept party invitations even if they don’t like your sim, so you wont get the message “Missing some of your party guests?”
