The mod nukes the autonomous behavior of Sims and dogs playing fetch. It does not nuke the “Play Fetch” interaction if you click on the pet to play fetch.
2.) Invisible One Tile Pet Bed for use with Maxis Pet Beds by Charity
Use the use ‘moveobjects on’ to slip two one tile beds under a two tile bed, then used ‘boolprop controlpets on’ to get pets onto the bed. Then use ‘boolprop snapobjectstogrid false’ to position the one tile beds so that the pets looked natural.

4.) Allow strays on community lots by Dickhurt
This mod allows stray cats and dogs to appear and show up on community lots. It’s slightly different than allowing your already playable pets and babies go to lots, but rather pulls from available strays already in your neighborhood.

In the unmodified game, when a Sim call for the pet to quit its job or retire while it’s at work, the pet returns at 0 AM and gets a memory of being fired. Now the pet job actions are disabled while the pet is at work.

Pets that have ran away can no longer be found by service NPCs, which could have caused a situation where a pet is found by a wolf and consequently lost forever because the wolf won’t bring it home.
