Enables Sims to do a full painting within at least an hour.

Adjusts the command queue locations of re-issued commands like “Scrap Painting”. “Scrap Painting” is handled by the easel. If you issue it by clicking on the painting, then the painting hands off the command to the easel. However the new command is placed at the end of the queue, which is annoying if you have stacked other commands. This mod will cause the re-issued command to be placed at the front of the list so it will be processed immediately. As far as I know, this is the only command this mod currently has.

3.) No Auto View Art by Cyjon

Sims no longer autonomously view art objects including paintings, sculptures, deeds, sim-painted canvases and sim-drawn schematics.

4.) Scrap Named Painting by Cyjon

Changes the easel menu so instead of saying “Scrap Painting” it says, for example, “Scrap Vidcund’s Painting”. If a painting shows the old “Scrap Painting” command, it means it doesn’t have a valid owner anymore. This typically happens if the owner moves out or if the easel is moved from one household to another through inventory.

5.) Diagonal Easel Mod by Gdayars

In an unmodded game, you can rotate the easel using the 45 degree angle cheat but Sims will make the easel inaccessible. This mod allows Sims to use the easel if rotated.

6.) Painting autonomy changes by Gummilutt

This is a global mod that modifies autonomy on residential lots. It will only affect residential lots. With this mod visitors can no longer practice painting when visiting your Sims. In addition Sims can sign up for the painting pass club by acquiring the painting pass pass. Stick the painting pass pass in your Sims inventory, and they will refrain from painting autonomously while on residential lots. You can still direct them to paint, and they will paint autonomously on community lots, but they won’t do so autonomously at home. That way you can keep the easels for the painter in the family, if you want to.

7.) Claim Painting by Kestrellyn

Have you ever had a sim die in the middle of painting an important still life or portrait? With this hack, you can have another sim claim the painting and continue working on it. The original painter does not need to have died in order for the painting to be claimed, but the claiming sim does need to have at least as much creativity as the original painter had when they began the painting. After the painting has been claimed, either by clicking on the painting itself or the easel, options should appear for the claiming sim to continue it.

Sims can’t get a memory and fulfill the want about selling a masterpiece if they’re not the painting’s authors.

9.) Buyable Canvases and Prints by Midge The Tree

Buyable versions of the easel canvas and uni camera prints. The easel canvas also has a subset for the frame with all the FreeTime recolors (and a null recolor). The idea is you can replace the images with your sims’ paintings and snapshots and make your own recolors for your game. Available in Decorations/Wall for $500 (painting) and $100 (print).

Removes that autonomy of Sims viewing art.

11.) Ruin Painting Unlocked by Midge The Tree

Only works on Maxis’s easel; the painting needs to be complete, and you click on the easel. Comes in two versions: both are only autonomous for immature sims, but one allows you to direct any sim, the other the option only shows up for immature sims.

“Paint Continuously” now appears as an option on the easel. When chosen, thesim will paint a picture, then auto-sell it, then continue painting.

Low-value decorative objects of < $500 such as shop signs are no longer
considered fascinating objects to gawk and laugh at. View Many may not
be autonomously chosen on Business lots as this may select invalid or
inaccessible viewing objects that can cause errors (plus this feature
is largely meaningless to autonomous sims, as it exists mostly for reduced
clicking).

This is an easel that has a horizontal canvas instead of a vertical one.

Changes a painting to be exactly 1 tile wide so that someone could make a several tile painting by putting them together.

This mod prevents sims from autonomously kicking and viewing the flamingo.

This mod prevents all Sims from autonomously viewing art work while your shop is open.
