1.) Age-Based Computer Chat Menu – This mod can be found the Computer Mods Subcategory
This is an extension of Cyjon’s original mod, that put children in their own sub-menu, and the rest of sims under adult. This version will separate out teens and elders to their own category as well.
Have you ever noticed that your game will put some sims in a chat-sub menu, and other names in the first level of menu as “chat with X”? Yeah that’s because EA for some reason in the original code did not sub-group the children so they always showed up in the first level of menu. This will fix that as well. Should impact custom computers too, including Monique’s.
2.) AL Gear City Window Made Closeable – This mod can be found in the Window Mods Subcategory
This mod makes the open window called AL Gear City Window in the build mode windows category be closable.
3.) Autonomous background crafting – This mod can be found in the Badge – Craft Tables Subcategory
Enables autonomy on “make many” and “continue” for all five original crafting types – Robots, toy making, flower arrangement, pottery and sewing. It does NOT charge your Sims money for background Sim crafting. Money sounds and visuals show for all Sims, but only your current households crafting charges household funds. By default only autonomous on community lots. Has optional autonomy on residential/apartment lots, you can enable autonomy on those lot types by placing the Autonomy Toggler object somewhere on the lot (custom object made using parts of the FT crafting clutter, found in hobbies/misc for 1 simoleon).
4.) Baby Monitor – This mod can be found in the Clothes & Nursery Subcategory
The baby monitor consists of one transmitter that you put in the nursery, and a receiver that you put in the parents room. If turned on, the receiver will wake up parents if the baby wakes up and starts screaming. As per Inge’s original code, there’s only one channel so if you have multiple objects placed on the lot all receivers will react to sound from any transmitter you’ve placed. So if you have more than one nursery, you can put a transmitter in each one and both of them will send signals to the one receiver you’ve placed elsewhere. The baby monitor has a pie menu option that if selected brings up a dialog listing the exact motives of the chosen baby.

A mod that helps increase comfort when backrubs are given. A second mod provided that give extra comfort for pregnant Sims.
6.) Becks Get On Mod Updated + Custom Spring riders – This mod can be found in the Toy Mods Subcategory
This mod is an update from the Sims creator Rebecah that took the Spring Rider Object as a “get on” interaction for toddlers without needing an older Sim to put them on it.
This mod adds:
– If spring rider is already in use, toddlers will not try and get on it
– When acting autonomously toddlers will not get on if:
A. // Very hungry or very tired (below 1/4 of needs bar)
B. // The spring rider is on a different floor than the toddler
C. // If it’s winter and the toddler is inside, to prevent toddlers from walking out into the freezing cold on their own
In addition to the sanity checks, a toggle for autonomy has been added to pie menu. So if you want to turn autonomy off temporarily (or permanently for that matter), you can click on the spring rider and pick autonomy off and autonomous use is disabled. The default setting is autonomy on. Each spring rider has it’s own unique setting, so changing the autonomy will only affect the object you clicked on.
This mod does not effect custom spring riders except for Honeywell and Porkypine
7.) Book changes – This mod can be found in the Film & Lit Mods Subcategory
Two mods listed.
1.) Book Fun Changes – Requires FT
This is a of global mod that makes reading books from bookshelves more fun. Fun gain rate to 200 per hour in all versions, which means a Sim could go from a completely empty fun bar to maxed out in one hour. This may seem a bit excessive, but the original gain rate was 100. This mod comes in two variations. One where all Sims find books equally fun, and one where only Sims with a playful score of 5 or lower find books more fun. Conflicts with Freetime Book Fixes mod. Which one you should use depends on if you want fun to be higher for all Sims or only serious Sims, and if you want cook books, romance books and sci fi books to affect motives. See the table in link to help you choose the one you want.
2.) All Sims Put Books Away
This is a global mod that removes the neat check so that all Sims put books back in the bookshelf. However, this does not mean a Sim will always put books away. There are some situations where even a neat Sim would put their book down somewhere else, and these situations will still apply. But over all you will see a dramatic decrease in books on floor/surfaces with this mod since all Sims will at least try to put their book back in the book shelf.
8.) Bottle Warmer – This mod can be found in the Bottles & Breastfeeding Subcategory
This mod is a modified fridge for nurseries that allows fetching bottles and restocking but nothing else. It’s small and cute, fits nicely on shelves or surfaces. Animations aren’t perfect, but your sim can use it from anywhere.
9.) Bugs begone! – This mod can be found in the Harvestable Mods Subcategory
This is a global mod that stops Season harvestable plants and trees from becoming infected with bugs.
10.) Butterfly & Firefly OMSP – This mod can be found in the following categories:

Spawn more than one batch of butterflies to build things like a more natural meadow or garden. Butterflies will only spawn during daytime, between 7-19 (7am to 7pm). Found in general/misc, costs 0.
11.) Carpool & school bus flexibility – This mod can be found in the Car Mods Subcategory
Your Sims can now acquire the carpool pass and the school bus pass, to declare that they prefer to get to work and school on their own. This consists of two separate mods. One that gives you optional carpools, and one that gives you optional school bus.
1- Optional carpool
This mod consists of a global mod, and the carpool pass object. If you purchase the carpool pass for your Sim, and put it in their inventory, the game will interpret that as the Sim having declared no carpool for me thanks, and your Sim will have to get to work on their own. To make it easier for Sims in the same household who go in to work at the same hour to carpool together, Sims will no longer autonomously drive to work when free will is enabled. To remind you there are Sims on the lot with the carpool pass in inventory a pop-up dialogue box will inform you that they need to be at work in one hour, just like it does when Sims own a car.

12.) Cat Nip Toy Cleanup Enabled Teens/Elder – This mod can be found in the Pet Care Mods Subcategory
For some reason teens and elders can’t clean up the mess of catnip toys and this mod allows that.
13.) Check Out Self On Mirror Enabled Adult/Elder – This mod can be found in the Mirror Mods Subcategory
This mod enables the teen check out self mirror interaction for adults and elders. May or may not impact custom mirrors, it depends on how the mirror was made.
14.) Chess gives science enthusiasm – This mod can be found in the Science Hobby Mod Subcategory
This mod will change the enthusiasm gain from playing and watching chess to science.
15.) Cops leave babies alone – This mod can be found in the Baby Mods Subcategory
his is a global mod that affects police logic after catching a robber. It only affects positive outcomes where the robber is caught, since cops seem more sensible about dealing with thieves that got away. With this mod, instead of choosing the Sim with the highest ID number which seems to be what they do, they choose according to age. If there is an adult or elder present, they will head over and talk to that Sim. If there is no adult or elder present, they will choose a teen. If no teen available, they will talk to a child, and only if all those options fail will they talk to a toddler or baby.

17.) Custom Memories Library and Objects – This mod can be found in the Memory Based Mods Subcategory
A mod based on the Tattered Diary by DiLight, this is 200 custom memory mods for your Sims. Memories all have a custom icon, that’s made from game icons from TS2 or TS3.
Examples of types of custom memories included
– Extended family members memories (got cousin, got aunt/uncle, got sibling, got twin sibling, got great grandchild, got stepparent, got stepchild)
– Birth related memories (pregnancy, becoming parent, late in life parent, had multiples birth, premature baby)
– Marriage related memories (divorce, parental divorce, custody things, alimony)
– Relationship related memories (fighting, breakups, additional love memories)
– Woohoo related (memories for specific woohoo locations, repeatable generic woohoo/public woohoo)
– University degree related (declared major memories, got a minor degree memories, got a major degree memories, for remembering having studied multiple things and being able to see what major your Sim chose without looking at their diploma)
– Loan related, for remembering taking and paying off loans of different types
– Moving memories (first apartment, child moves out, various memories for sims moving in with others)

18.) Customizable chance of Death by Murphy Bed – This mod is found under the following categories:

The way it’s coded by EA, Murphy beds have a 5% chance when opened to fall on the Sim and kill them. This only happens if the Sim has less than 5 body points, the Sim is in a bad mood when opening the bed and the random roll produces the right number. Which makes for a very frustrating trial and error if you for some reason want to induce Murphy bed death, or if you would just like it to happen now and then on it’s own.
This is a global mod that alters the chance of death by Murphy bed, and gives you the option of disabling the body skill and mood checks.
19.) Customizable chance of Death by Satellite – This mod can be found in the Life & Death Mods Subcategory
This is a global mod that increases the chance of death by satellite while watching clouds or stargazing. I have included three versions, with 5%, 50% and 100% chance of satellite hits. Only use one.
20.) Date Reward Flowers Expire – This mod can be found in the Dating Mods Subcategory
After 7 days reward date flowers will go old, using a new texture by Epi. By default a dialogue pops up, and camera will zoom to show to the rose. A new interaction to throw away flowers, that routes to the nearest trash can. By default the sim will think about who sent the rose, and roses can be thrown away anytime.
21.) Debug “Make Harvestable” Made More User Friendly – This mod can be found in the Gardening Mods Subcategory
In The Sims 2: Seasons, plants (like crops, fruit trees, etc.) go through growth stages: Planted → growing → harvestable → regrow cycle.
There’s also a hidden/debug interaction: 👉 “Make Harvestable”
Without the mod “Make Harvestable” flags the plant to become harvestable BUT… it often doesn’t happen instantly. You might see a delay, the plant updating on the next tick/reset or needing to wait or reload for it to fully apply

22.) Dorm Doors Pet, Toddler and Diagonal Enabled – This mod can be found in the Door Mods Subcategory
This mod updates the classic “Key Dorm Doors” system (originally by Simlogical / Inge Jones), which is used in The Sims 2: University dorms and Apartment-style or shared housing setups.

23.) Dressers Require Laundry Ver 2 – Both laundry Systems – This mod can be found in the Laundry Mods Subcategory
This mod ties changing clothes at a dresser to whether your Sim has clean laundry available. This version makes the dresser checks for clean laundry before allowing outfit changes. When your Sim tries to plan an outfit or change into everyday/formal/etc. the game checks do you have clean laundry available?
If yes → change works normally
If no → interaction is blocked or fails

This is a global mod that changes how long it takes to write a novel. In FT/AL/M&G the default time required to write a novel is roughly 15 hours. There are 3 different versions with also a option to customize your own.

26.) Freetime books fixed – This mod can be found in the Film & Lit Mods Subcategory
This is a global mod that changes effect on motives from reading certain Freetime books. There are two different global mods to choose between. They are made differently, and work differently. Which one to use depends on what you want this mod to do.
1.) Only Fun version– This is a global mod that removes the book-specific motive changes. Your Sims will gain fun from reading books like they always have, but all other motives are unaffected. This mod is unlikely to conflict with other mods.
2.) More Realistic version– This is a global mod that alters the rate at which motives decrease/increase from reading books. This mod is more versatile than Only Fun, because it changes the rate at which motives change rather than remove them completely. This version is set to no hygiene decay, 50% less hunger decay, and 65% less social increase. Sims will lose 1/8 of the hunger bar per hour, and gain 1/8 of the social bar per hour. If you’d like it set different, you can easily change it.
27.) Enabled teddy interactions – This mod can be found in the Toy Mods Subcategory
This is a global mod that enables the teddy interactions play with and carry for teens, adults and elders. It does not change the animations, which means there may be a little bit of floating when placing the teddy back down, but aside from that the animations work great with older Sims. Because the different stuffed animals came from different packs the packages are separate. The stuffed animals included are teddybear, lil chimera plush bunny and the two pawcrafted teddybears.

One of the reasons many of us think Sims 2 is such a great game, is the attention to detail in the coding. The personality-based behaviors and little quirks that you might discover after playing the game for many years make this game stand out. There’s always something we haven’t seen yet.
Among these great things, are hidden interactions that Sims may perform autonomously but that the player can’t see or direct them to do. I think that’s a shame, because it means a lot of players might not get to see them and they only show up rarely which means you don’t get to enjoy them as much. While you can unhide them by the use of a cheat, it’s not the safest thing to do and it unhides all hidden menu options, not just the ones you want.
As a safer and more player-friendly alternative, Gummilutt on MTS has created three global mods that unlock some of these great interactions. The interactions included are snooze, window washing, and sliding on banisters. Sliding on banisters is a M&G interaction and requires M&G, the other two are from base-game.

This is a set of two global mods that unlock hidden interactions that are normally only performed autonomously. They allow you to see the interaction in pie menu (see more exact details under each mod) and direct your Sim to perform them. Tuck in & Stuff Face
30.) Hygiene gain from swimming – This mod can be found in the Hygiene & Water Mods Subcategory
This is a global mod that adds hygiene gain to swimming. It affects swimming pools, swimmable lakes and swimming in the ocean on beach lots. However, Sims only gain hygiene up to a certain point. While it makes sense that swimming would get rid of some dirt and sweat, it’s more realistic that they retain some degree of dirtiness to account for the fact that it’s swimming pool or ocean water which has more dirt in it than shower/tub water. Once they reach the set cap, the hygiene gain ceases.
31.) Immersive Pet Treat Giving – This mod can be found in the Pet Food Mods Subategory
Now if your Sims want to reward their adorable furbabies, they best get on down to the pet store and buy some delicious delectable pet goodies!
How the mod works
1.) Mod impacts current family only, because maybe your visitors brought treats with them.
2.) Only impacts residential and apartment lots, so that if you encounter strays on community lots, or took a pet on vacation, you don’t have to worry about it (unless it is an owned vacation home).
3.) For active family to feed treats to pets on residential or apartment lots, they must have a treat bucket object present on the lot, with treats left. Every time you feed a pet a treat, the bucket capacity goes down. When it runs out, you have to buy a new one.
4.) Default setting on bucket is 20 treats. It is controlled in BCON 1003 on the object, so if you want a different number you can easily change it.
32.) Invisible medicine cabinet 2.0 – This mod can be found in the Hygiene & Water Mods Subcategory
This is a combination download, consisting of a cloned Reflected Pride Medicine Cabinet that has been turned invisible, and a global mod that enables sinks to recognize the cloned invisible medicine cabinet. It only recognizes this specific clone though, no others. The mod is not necessary for the cabinet to work, but without it the options to brush teeth and wash face will not be available on sinks placed beneath the mirror. Instead you’ll have to click the invisible cabinet and select the options.
33.) Less Zits – This mod can be found in the following categories:

This is a global mod that lowers the hygiene threshold below which zits could appear. In original coding Sim teens are at risk of getting zits if their hygiene drops below 75%, so less than 3/4 full hygiene bar. There are two versions of this mod.
1.) Less Zits- Teens won’t be at risk of zits unless their hygiene bar goes below half full. This intended for those of you that like zits, but would like to see them a little less frequently. And if a specific teen wants to avoid zits they can do so by taking a little extra care of hygiene, while still having room to exercise a bit.
2.) Almost No Zits- Teens won’t be at risk of zits unless their hygiene bar is completely drained. This is intended for those of you that would like to see no zits at all. There’s still a small risk, but as long as you stay away from babies throwing up on your Sim you should be able to avoid zits.
34.) Jogging motive changes – This mod can be found in the Fitness & Workout Mods Subcategory
This is a global mod that changes how the hobby jogging interaction affects motives. Now comes in two versions, regular and pets pee. Only use one of them.
JoggingMotiveLossChanges- Motive changes are separated so that jogging affects Sims and pets differently. Sims will get hungry and be in need of a shower, but take less of a hit to energy and comfort. Pets will get very tired and happy, but won’t see much change to hunger, hygiene and bladder.
Pets pee version– If you want your pets to come back from a jog will full bladder, get the pet pee version. All other motives are unchanged from what is listed above.
35.) Juicing enabled for children – This mod can be found in the Juice Mods Subcategory
Does it irk you that Sim-children aren’t trusted to handle the juicer? Do you wish they could drink juice, but are reluctant to make an entire platter of juice? Well look no further! Children will float above the floor while making the juice, and that during the process the hands and objects might not align properly but aside from that this mod works properly.
36.) Landlord Leaves Leaf Piles During Autumn – This mod can be found in the following categories:

Is your landlord stuck in leaf-related loops during autumn and neglecting more important duties like home repairs? Something about autumn in this specific apartment build locked the landlord in a loop where they kept just raking leaves in this one spot, creating a pile that they immediately went to throw out and by the time they were done the tree had filled the same spot with new leaves so they started over, again and again. Once the season changes to winter, the landlord will get rid of the leaf piles.
37.) Learned Nursery Rhyme From – This mod can be found in the following categories:

If the kid remembers who taught them to talk, why wouldn’t they remember who taught them to sing? This mod gives the custom memory of having learned a nursery rhyme for the toddler and not just the parent.
38.) Maxis Recliners Fixed to Go Diagonal – This mod can be found in the Seating Mods Subcategory
This is a simple CRES-replacement for the four maxis recliners that for some reason don’t work, even though the game does have that functionality in some. Each recliner has to be fixed individually, so this can’t impact CC recliners.
39.) M&G Physiology Fix – This mod can be found in the Fitness & Workout Mods Subcategory
When EA released AL, the skill physiology was broken and Sims who learned it gained body skill points instantly. They fixed this in the patch, but for some reason broke it again in M&G. Up until now, fixing that required using alfixes by Pescado. But that mod comes with a whole heap of other things, and conflicts with a lot of hacks. Charity tested alfixes, and found that most things were fixed in patches, making the mod obsolete. But, a few things remained unfixed, and physiology was one of them. his mod is extremely simple. It is a global hack that simply takes the code fixed in AL, and makes it override the broken code in M&G.
40.) Modified Cyjon Loan Jar – This mod can be found in the Finances & Money Mods Category
This mod tweaks Cyjon’s Loan Jar. The changes made are:
– The option to control which days of the week interest is added, with individual days or all at once setting options
– An optional pop up dialog that informs you when interest has been added, and how much interest will be next time. When enabled (which is the default) the pop up will occur daily at 7am, regardless of whether there is a loan or not. When a loan jar is on lot with no active loan, use the setting option to turn the alert off
– Easy overview of current settings regarding days, alert and interest rate
– Support for pop up dialogs where you can enter rules you use in your hood, so you have easy access to them from inside the game (see picture included in download for example)
– Jar and note subsets created by gayars, along with a new glass jar mesh and recolors by gayars
– Alternative object models if you’d prefer something that blends in, with a pop up list to show you the options and what order they are in.
41.) Monique’s Computer Update – Price Editing Friendly – This mod can be found in the Computer Mods Subcategory
This mod makes the objects from Monique’s computer easier to edit it’s price—using tools like SimPE. Normally, modded objects like Monique’s computer can be frustrating to edit because they may have multiple internal price references (not just one simple value). Editing them in SimPE can lead to weird bugs, like duplicate prices or broken catalog entries and some versions are structured in a way that resists clean modification.
This version is especially useful if you like balancing your economy (e.g., making the computer cheaper or more expensive), use custom price systems or realism mods. A tutorial is included to help you understand how to edit BCON if you are unfamiliar
42.) More sensible badge gain – This mod can be found in the Badges – Other Subcategory
For some reason, some of the badges are much harder to get than others. The cashiering badge gets a lot of hate for being slow, but the cosmetology badge is just as bad. In an unmodded game it should take 111 makeovers to get a gold badge. This is a global mod that increases the gain from each makeover, so that Sims don’t have to give quite as many to get a gold badge. It comes in two varieties. To understand how they differ it may be helpful to know how badges work. There are four levels, no badge, bronze, silver and gold badge. A Sim is awarded a bronze badge when they gain 333 points, a silver badge when they’ve reached 666 and a gold badge when they reach 1000.
43.) Music autonomy overhaul – This mod can be found in the Music & Dance Mods
This is an overhaul of the autonomy coding for all music instruments. There are many mods to stop Sims autonomously using them, but I don’t want to stop all Sims from using them, I just want to stop some of them. It is a global mod, and comes in two versions. The mod only affect autonomous behavior, you can still direct them to use instruments if you want to.
The mod has two parts, a package containing the global mod and an object in the shape of a small card. The card costs 0 simoleons, and can be found under misc/misc.
– Stop visitors from using instruments autonomously on residential lots
– Only allow Sims with 5 or higher creativity to autonomously perform or practice on community lots
– Let Sims pledge membership to the FUMLITT. Any Sim carrying the membership card in their inventory will refrain from using instruments autonomously, regardless of where they are.
This way, only Sims that are actually good at playing will do so in public, and visitors won’t take liberties with your Sims instruments. With the card you can fine-tune this to further ban specific Sims when you feel the generic rules aren’t enough. For example, you can give the card to the parents of your violin-playing kid so that only the child uses the violin, or to the partner of your musician to keep them from occupying the instruments or harming them with their inexperienced fingers.
44.) No Autonomous Cleaning of Dishes/Trash – This mod can be found in the Cleaning Mods Subcategory
Sims only drop dishes/trash if they were taking care of them autonomously, if you direct them to they will finish the task before moving on. This mod only disable autonomy for regular Sims. NPCs like maid/butler will still do these chores.
45.) No Autonomous Get Mail – This mod can be found in the Mailbox Mods Subcategory
Did your Sims get a nice post card, or a free meal coupon, only to see it vanish into the depths of your roomies inventory? Or do you just not want your Sims to empty their mailbox without you present? I give you, no autonomous get mail. This removes autonomy from the interaction “Get Mail”. It is a global mod, it affects all Sims.
46.) No Autonomous Kisses As Greeting/Goodbye – This mod can be found in the Social Mods Category
Are you sick and tired of Sims autonomously kissing when they greet or say bye to other Sims? Do you have Cyjon’s StopKissingMe mod but feel it is not quite enough? This mod might be just the thing! Sims will no longer kiss other Sims when saying hello or bye regardless of their relationship status. Finally you can have slow moving relationships, secret crushes or simply shy Sims that aren’t the kind of pixels that do things that way. Note that this mod does not affect the date-end scenario. You can work around it by saying bye instead of using end date, or make sure the active sim is busy doing something when you end the date and you can cancel the kiss.
47.) No Autonomous Water Wiggler For Servos – This mod can be found in the Servo Mods Subcategory
This is a global mod that prevents Servos from autonomously using the water wiggler interaction Play. They can watch others play, but they can’t actually jump into the water and break themselves. You can still direct your Servo to play, if you for some reason want to get it wet so that it breaks, but it can’t decide to do so on it’s own.
48.) No Death by Murphy Bed – This mod can be found in the Bed/Bedroom Mods Subcategory
Murphy beds were introduced in Apartment Life, and they can be stowed away when not used. However, when a Sim tries to open it again, there is a risk that they drop it on themselves and die. This death had a 5% chance of happening, if a Sim had less than 5 body points and was in a bad mood at the time. But any chance might be too high a chance for some players, and now you have the option to make that chance zero.
49.) No Hunger Decay For Birds – This mod can be found in the Other Pets Subcategory
In the base game, birds have a hunger need that gradually decreases over time and requires regular feeding by Sims.
🧠 The problem in vanilla gameplay is that birds can be a bit… high-maintenance in an unfun way. Hunger drops fairly quickly and Sims don’t always autonomously feed them reliably. This can lead to neglect warnings dead birds if forgotten. It can feel more like micromanagement than meaningful gameplay

This is a global mod that removes enthusiasm gain from study cleaning interaction on bookshelves. It will not affect any of the other skills. It affects all bookcases.
It comes in two versions, no enthusiasm gain or science enthusiasm gain. No enthusiasm means your Sims won’t gain any hobby enthusiasm from studying cleaning, and science enthusiasm gain means they gain science instead of nature.
51.) No Saturday Landlord Party In Apartments – This mod can be found in the Landlord Mods Subcategory
This mod stops the landlord from hosting parties altogether. Your Sims can still throw a building party, but the landlord won’t.
52.) No spoon when sharing bed – This mod can be found in the Bed/Bedroom Mods Subcategory
You can simulate three Sims sharing a bed by placing a single bed with no frame in the middle of the bed, and using an inaccessible beds mod to let the third Sim get in to the middle bed. But if the two Sims in the double bed are in a relationship, they will quickly get in to the spoon position, which looks all kind of painful with a third Sim in the middle. Read description in link for more info and how to set it up.
53.) Optional Autonomy For Poker, Pool and Mahjong – This mod can be found in the Gaming Mods Subategory
In The Sims 2, certain group activities are either:
❌ Too autonomous (Sims constantly start them on their own), or
❌ Not autonomous at all (they’ll never use them unless told)
For objects like pool tables, poker and Mahjong. 👉 This can make community lots or homes feel either chaotic or lifeless.
This mod gives you control over whether Sims can use those objects autonomously.
54.) Painting autonomy changes – This mod can be found in the Art/Painting Mods Subcategory
This is a global mod that modifies autonomy on residential lots. It will only affect residential lots. With this mod visitors can no longer practice painting when visiting your Sims. In addition Sims can sign up for the painting pass club by acquiring the painting pass pass. Stick the painting pass pass in your Sims inventory, and they will refrain from painting autonomously while on residential lots. You can still direct them to paint, and they will paint autonomously on community lots, but they won’t do so autonomously at home. That way you can keep the easels for the painter in the family, if you want to.
55.) Pescado’s Clothing Tool Allows Same Category Outfit Switch – This mod can be found in the Clothing Mods Subcategory
A very niche thing, but if you ever use the clothing tool, you might have been irritated by the fact that it greys out the currently worn outfit. So if your sim is in everyday, and you changed their everyday, it forces you to switch to something else first and then back to everyday. There’s really no need for that, the game can handle it just fine if you switch to the same one.
If you are unfamiliar with this tool, it is pretty handy but there are some quirks. This is what the Directors Cut manual has to say.
It’s a clothing tool. Lets you buy new clothes for your sims in all categories with a single command (and inflated price premium!), and snarf career and special-event (wedding, graduation, etc.) outfits worn by your sims for use in the “Plan Outfit” dresser, plan all of your outfits at one click (after aging!), as well as gives you one last shot to plan your outfits before returning home from college (if global override hook included in zip is installed) so that your sims do not return to the family bin looking like hobos!
56.) Pet Career Wage Edits – This mod can be found in the Pet Jobs Subcategory
In Sims 2 cats earn more than dogs in all three pet careers.
Global mod that changes the wages in security and service careers. In Security cats earn what dogs used to earn, and dogs earn what cats used to earn. In Service cats and dogs earn the same amount, which has been determined as half way between the old cat and dog wage. This means cats will earn less than they used to, and dogs will earn more than they used to, because they now earn the same amount in that career. Show biz has not been changed at all, but that BCON is included in the package in case someone would like to modify it further for their own use.
57.) Pet food required – This mod can be found in the Pet Food Mods Subcategory
This is a global mod that overwrites the refill bowl code and makes it pull it’s food from a food box object rather than the box Sims pull out of thin air. The animation is unchanged, Sims will still appear to pull a box out of thin air and fill the box from it. But in reality they went and filled that box with food from the real food box, when you weren’t looking. Those sneaky Sims! So with this mod your pets get to eat the finest food in all the land, guaranteed butt-free! And your Sims actually have to buy food in order to take care of their pets, no more conjuring it out from nowhere.

If you want to use the mod sea/pond water mod, you need to create one pool tile. This can visually be frustrating as you find ways to discretely cover it up. This mod lets you do that more naturally via using terrain paint.

A mod that will remember the last pose you used. Does not work with all previous poseboxes.
61.) Potty Fixes and Potty Use Bin Mods Merged For Compatibility – This mod can be found in the following categories:

MogHughson’s potty use bin mod conflicts with twojeffs potty fixes, and it’s the kind of conflict where load order can’t make them place nice. If you load twojeffs last, Mog’s will be ignored completely, and if you load Mog’s last potties will get dirtier and dirtier and stink up the room and cleaning them won’t help.
This mod morphs the two into one so that you get the benefits of both without the stinky room problem. As per how potty fixes is set up, there is one for Basegame to FT, and one for AL and above.

64.) Refillable Fruit Punch Barrel – This mod can be found in the Bar Mods Subcategory
This is a global object mod, that adds two custom interactions to the fruit punch barrel. I’ve also cleaned up the code and fixed a few annoyances. Text is available in English and Swedish.
Refill– New animated custom interaction that tops off the barrel so it’s full again. Each drink costs 10 simoleons. You can use the interaction as soon as the barrel is below full, and the Sim will fill up the barrel. You will only be charged for the number of drinks that get added, so if it adds 2 you only pay 20 simoleons. In Maxis coding, the barrel holds 15 drinks. I think that’s rather lower considering the size of the barrel and the size of the cups, so I’ve made two versions. One that sticks to the original 15 drinks, and one that fills it so it contains 30 drinks. Only use one version.
Drinks Left- The drinks left counter interaction isn’t really an interaction. If you click it, nothing happens. It’s just there to tell you how many drinks are left, by adding this number to the pie menu.

gummilutt’s version adds rotation control to the OMSP itself.
👉 Instead of just placing an object, you can rotate the slot the object sits on. You can turn objects to angled positions, diagonal placements and more natural-looking layouts

📐 2. Break grid restrictions. Normally, objects snap to fixed directions.
With Rotator OMSPs you can offset rotation and create more organic layouts.
66.) Seasonal pool autonomy changes – This mod can be found in the Pool Mods Subcategory
This is a global mod that affects the autonomy of interactions that your Sims use to get into swimming pool. This version will only allow autonomy in outside pools during the summer, but does not affect autonomy of pools that are inside, regardless of current Season.
67.) Simulated Sales In OFB Business Bade Optional and Lot-Based – This mod can be found in the Badge- Sales Mods Subcategory
An alternative to BoilingOil’s simulated sales, creating a global add on to cash registers that allows you to set a sales type on a lot by lot basis, rather than the global all businesses approach that BO took.
Simulated sale is one where the business owner gets paid, but the customer does not lose household funds nor do they receive anything in inventory. Helpful if you do not want your townies to come with inventories full of freebies they never actually paid anything for, or if you don’t want your playables to burn their household funds as visitors on owned businesses.
This mod is a little in between fake simulated sales to real purchases Sims will buy. It allows user to pick a different sales model for every business, giving more flexibility. Default behavior is normal sales. Through the settings (which appear on cash registers) you can choose to make them always be simulated, or to make them simulated only for playables, or only for townies (meaning anyone that isn’t a playable Sim).
Conflicts with simler90’s Business Mod.
Conflicts with Numenor’s global mod that adds practice interaction to cash registers.
Conflicts with Pescado’s OFBFixes.
68.) Simslice Beer Keg Refillable And No Family Romance – This mod can be found in the Drinking Mods Subcategory
This mod makes 3 changes to the beer keg by Simslice.
1.) The beer keg is now refillable, so that you don’t have to keep going into buy mode to buy a new one every time it runs out
2.) A much needed family check has been added to romance interactions. Flirts and engagements can now only happen with non-related targets.
3.) Changed file names to be more understandable. This doesn’t have any visual changes, just for people who would like to make edits.
69.) Slacker Chance Card Edit – This mod can be found in the Chance Card Mods Subcategory
Maxis set the positive outcome of a level 7 chance card in Slacker to give 75,000 simoleons. This mod is a replacement that changes that outcome to 20,000 simoleons.
70.) Smooth Talk Gifts A Rose – This mod can be found in the Romance Mods Category
Romance Sims with the aspiration benefit can smooth talk people, and give them a rose. Except it just visually presents a rose, that then disappears into the ether. Now this mod turns into a deco object into your Sims inventory. It’ll rotate and fit neatly on a surface.
71.) Stop turning on the stereo at night! – This mod can be found in the Stereo Mods Subcategory
This is a global mod that disables autonomous use of the turn on
interaction on stereos between 9pm and 9am. You can still direct your
Sims to turn on the stereo if you want to, but they can’t turn it on by
themselves. It does not turn off the stereo if it was already on,
though, it only prevents them from turning it on if it’s turned off.

This mod adds Enabled features on the 6 maxis stuffed animals. Sims can now:
– Carry and play with enabled for teens, adults and elders
– Talk through enabled for kids.
– Carry interaction enabled on lil chimera plush bunny, which for some reason did not have it
– Teens, adults and elders may not interact autonomously with stuffed animals in any way, if the object is sitting in a slot. It’s decorative, leave it alone! If it’s on the floor, knock yourself out.
– Children can autonomously take bears from surfaces to play or carry, but not to talk through.
– Children may only talk through to toddlers, because they float in the air when doing it to older Sims, whereas with toddlers the animation mostly works
– If carry and play with is enabled for teen, adult and elders, they will only autonomously do so if they have the childish trait.
– Talk through autonomy for teens, adults and elders is limited to sims who are 8 or higher playful personality, or that have the nurturing trait.
If you do not use traits, do not worry, the mod does not require them to work. The only difference is you won’t have any autonomous play with or carry in older Sims, and talk through is limited to 8 or higher playful Sims. Easy inventory check is not required.
73.) School day changes – This mod can be found in the School Mods Subcategory
This upload contains two different mods that affect the school day. One that makes schools start earlier, and one that makes school days shorter for children so they come home from school at the same time as their older siblings. With School Starts Earlier, school will start at 8am in both public and private school. It does not affect how long the school day is, so teens will get out at noon, and children will get out at 2pm, unless you choose to use the second mod that shortens school day for children. One benefit of the school day starting earlier is that your teens with jobs that start at 3pm get an additional hour to take care of needs before it’s time to go to work.
With Shorter School Days your Sim children only have to spend 4 hours in school, just like teen Sims. There are 3 versions of this.
A- Children go to school for 4 hours, just like teens
B- Children in public school have 4 hour school days, but children in private school have 6 hours school days as usual
C- Children in private school have 4 hour school days, but children in public school have 6 hours school days as usual

This is a global override that changes the number of days it takes for a teddy bear to look worn. Without this mod, it takes 11 days for a teddy bear to become worn. This mod offers 20, 50, 100, and 1000 days and is customizable. The mod will not restore worn teddy bears to new state, even if by the new code they would not be worn yet. Old worn ones will remain worn. It is possible that you have to re-buy teddy bears for the code to apply, but any teddy bear purchased after the mod was introduced will definitely listen to the new age duration

This mod takes three modded teleporter objects: Inge’s Teleporter Cat, Paladin’s Visual Teleporter, Twojeffs Simblender able to summon Sims by age or if you’re looking for pets.
Inge Cat and Simblender options: are identical to one another. Just gives you an option to search by age or pet. While Paladin’s Visual Teleporter gives you the option to search as if a Sim is talking on the phone.
81.) Tent logic improvements – This mod can be found in the Nature Mods Category
With this global mod, Sims who fill up their energy meter while sleeping in a tent at night will not wake up until 6am. If they fill it up before 10pm they will wake, but between 10pm and 6am they remain asleep. As with beds they will get up if you queue another interaction, or something else wakes them. But if the only reason to wake up is that energy is full, they remain asleep.
In addition, sleeping in a tent will help normalize the Sims body temperature. Temperatures range from 100 (overheated) to -100 (freezing). 0 is comfortable level. This mod makes Sims drop 50 points or gain 50 points depending on if they are hot or cold. They will not go over 0, so if the Sim is less than 50 from 0 it will set them to 0.
82.) Towel Rack Dresser Actions – This mod can be found in the Hygiene Mods Subcategory
A modded object that incorporates @episims‘ towel lite mod, which has a Sim switch out into a towel after coming out of the shower. This mod takes a towel rack and turns it into a dresser so your Sim can change from a towel into their everyday clothes instead of heading to the bedroom or nearest dresser.
83.) Uniforms for everyone! – This mod can be found in the School Mods Subcategory
This is a global mod that changes dress code for public school so that public school students wear the same uniform as private school students. Does not conflict with Cyjon’s No Private School Uniform, so if you want to you could use his mod and this to switch things around so that public school kids wear uniform and private school kids wear their own clothes.
84.) Updated Inge table and Counter Controller – This mod can be found in the Mealtime Mods Subcategory
The original Inge Jones (Simlogical) Table & Counter Controller is basically a routing/behavior manager for food and surfaces in The Sims 2. It lets you control things like where Sims eat meals (kitchen vs dining room), where they’re allowed to place food or dishes and time-based behavior (breakfast vs dinner locations). Gummilutt’s mod is an enhanced version of that controller with extra control and quality-of-life improvements.
🧩1.) Island counters are treated separately. One of the biggest upgrades In the original, island counters = normal counters. In gummilutt’s version, they are separate categories. It matters because this stops Sims from dumping serving platters on breakfast bars or prevents them from blocking seating areas with food.
⚡ 2. “Enable all / Disable all” toggle. You can now quickly turn all table/counter permissions on or off. It’s also useful for seasonal setups (e.g., disabling patio dining in winter) and quickly resetting a room’s behavior.
🏡 3. More object styles (cosmetic but practical). Adds alternative meshes/models for the controller object. Makes it easier to blend into outdoor spaces or just different room aesthetics.
⏰ 4. Editable meal-time cutoffs (BIG upgrade). Meal times (breakfast/lunch/dinner/night) are now👉 Controlled by a BCON (tunable value table). Meaning you can refine the times Breakfast from 5am to 10am. Lunch from 10 to 4pm.
With this installed, your Sims will:
– Eat in the right rooms at the right times
– Stop placing food in annoying or blocking spots
– Use kitchen islands and counters more realistically
– Follow your house logic, not EA’s default chaos
85.) Uni Skill Scholarships Lowered to 5 Points – This mod can be found in the Scholarships Subcategory
This mod is a simple BCON edit that changes the number of skill points (set to five) required to qualify for university scholarships. This is adjustable to be tunable.
The mod conflicts with Cyjon’s djsbadgescholarships, and needs to load last.
86.) Use bush enabled – This mod can be found in the Behavior Control Mods Subcategory
This is a global mod that overrides the pie menu on shrubs, enabling the use-interaction for adult/elder dogs and cats. The interaction is autonomous, so you may see cats and dog seeking out a bush to pee on from now on. And of course, if you use boolprop controlpets on to control your pets, you will be able to direct them to use a bush by clicking on a shrub. The interaction is available regardless of bladder motive level, and regardless of if the pet is trained or not, so you should have it available all the time. Hooray for finally being able to tell our dogs when to pee, without having to train them first! This mod is not guaranteed to work on custom shrubs. It depends on how they were made. If they still use the semi global pie menu, it will work. If they don’t, it won’t.
87.) Vacation flight changes – This mod can be found in the Vacation Mods Category
This mod changes the cost of flights, and the options for how long your vacation should be. The options for length are now weekend (3 days), long weekend (4 days), week (7 days), weekend to weekend (10 days), and two weeks (14 days).
