1.) Garden Sprinkler Range Hider by Lenna9
In the unmodified game, the blue overlay indicating the garden sprinkler range is visible in Buy and Build modes, but invisible in Live mode. But, if you are to use certain options for screen shots, the blue range overlay will still appear. This mod consists of two objects. Both look like sprinklers and can be found in the General/Miscellaneous section. One is used to turn the visibility of the sprinkler range on, and the other to turn it off. When visibility is enabled, the sprinkler range indicator behaves just like in the unmodified game (visible in Buy/Build mode, invisible in Live mode). Your setting will be saved until you change it again.
2.) AL and M&G Duplicate Belt and Cornice Hiders by Menaceman44
These files which hide the duplicate Bohemian Belt and Bohemian Cornice corner pieces from Apartment Life and the Second Empire Cornice and Helliers Curve corner pieces from Mansion and Gardens. May your catalogue be decluttered!
3.) Decorative Corbel Placement Modification by Menaceman44
This mod alters the placement of the decorative corbel that came with Apartment Life. It was placed off to one side of the tile as though it was part of a pair and now it’s moved to the centre of the tile.
4.) Werknothom Column Catalogue Description by Menaceman44
EA forgot to give an item description to the Werknothom Column so Menaceman44 decided to create one. This file is only in English so players of other languages should probably not bother with it.
5.) ConvertiWall 1.2 – Change Wall IDs on a Lot by Mootilda
The ConvertiWall program will change all walls, within a specified area on a lot, from one type of wall (Wall ID) to another. It can be used to create “foundation roofs”, which will reduce the price of modern homes with interesting roof lines. Here is an example. It can also be used to change brick foundation walls to normal walls, to allow windows and doors to be placed into “daylight” basement walls. As well, it can be used to change a custom wall, such as Numenor’s “Unleveled wall”, to a standard TS2 wall. This is helpful for downloaders who do not want to install custom walls when downloading lots. It is also helpful for lot creators who want the convenience of custom walls while building, but do not want to require the end user to install custom walls. For more information about custom walls, see the “Custom Walls Repository & Index.
6.) Enhanced Floor Shader by Mootilda
This is a replacement for the standard EA material shader for floors. This floor shader provides the following enhanced features:
– The shader will now recognize the alpha channel for floor edge textures. This means that the floor edge can now be completely invisible, or have partial transparency. For example, this mod now makes it possible to remove the floor edges completely, when combined with Mootilda’s Invisible Floor Edge.
– The original EA floor shader would reduce the brightness of any floor edge texture by half. This meant that it was impossible to create a light-colored floor edge texture. This enhanced floor shader removes that restriction, so that textures will appear as expected. You can see the difference in the “white” floor edge texture at Fairy Forest.
Please note that this mod is not useful without a corresponding floor edge texture. The EA floor edge does not have an alpha channel and will just be unnecessarily brightened. This mod can be used to brighten the floor edge textures from Fairy Forest and Psychosim, and Mootilda has a set of floor edges which fully utilize the new functionality in this mod.
