1.) Sellable Car by BoilingOil
Makes it so when you finish restoring a restorable car, you are now able to sell it immediately w/out going through the buy mode option.
2.) Carpool Warning Fix by Cyjon
Sims who are sick or in first stage of pregnancy will now get carpool warnings.
3.) Lockable Garage Doors by Cyjon
Allows garage doors to be locked like other doors. The locks affects only pedestrians so cars will go in and out as normal. Designed to keep sims from walking ten miles out of their way to enter through the garage door rather than the front door they are standing next to. Since EA designed garage doors stupidly, to lock garages you have to click on a non-garage door. You will see a menu “Garage…/” that opens up a submenu with the normal lock choices. This will affect all garage doors on the lot. There is no way to lock garage doors individually. I have not included the special pet and roommate locks for garages.
4.) No watchout for driverless vehicle and no shuffling by Dickhurt
This hack stops pointless “Watchout!” interactions, similar to the antiwatchout hack from MATY. While that hack conflicts with “Vehicles cost money to drive” hack, this one does not. You should also read about the problems with the MATY hack in the Known Conflicts section.
5.) Only vehicles can use garage doors by Dickhurt
Prevents both human Sims and pet Sims from using the electric garage door as a means to enter the garage and/or the house. They will now be required to use a normal door to enter. So be sure that the electric door is not the ONLY means of entering the house or garage. Otherwise, humans and pets could become trapped in the garage after their vehicle drives in!
This mod is a replacement for the old one made by Jordi, which no longer works correctly when AL or M&G are installed.
6.) Optimize vehicle speed by Dickhurt
Reduces in-use lag and graphical freezing for ownable vehicles and also a little bit for taxies (though not as much as for ownables). But no, it does not increase or decrease the speed at which the vehicle moves while you are driving it. By default, it also shuts off the car stereo/music before the driver exits the vehicle, but only if it was a return trip (meaning the vehicle just recently returned to the driveway after a trip off-lot). If you just sit in the vehicle for fun, turn on the stereo, exit the vehicle, then the music will still stay on to allow your Sims to dance to the car stereo music.
7.) Vehicles cost money to drive by Dickhurt
Driving ownable vehicles will now cost you Simoleons for each trip. The amount charged will vary based on which cost MOD you are using. The charge is usually a percentage related to the vehicle’s current depreciated value and/or its initial purchase price. A charge can also be set for Walking to and from Community Lots, which is a new feature of the Bon Voyage expansion.
8.) Carpool & school bus flexibility by Gummilutt
Your Sims can now acquire the carpool pass and the school bus pass, to declare that they prefer to get to work and school on their own. This consists of two separate mods. One that gives you optional carpools, and one that gives you optional school bus.
1- Optional carpool
This mod consists of a global mod, and the carpool pass object. If you purchase the carpool pass for your Sim, and put it in their inventory, the game will interpret that as the Sim having declared no carpool for me thanks, and your Sim will have to get to work on their own. To make it easier for Sims in the same household who go in to work at the same hour to carpool together, Sims will no longer autonomously drive to work when free will is enabled. To remind you there are Sims on the lot with the carpool pass in inventory a pop-up dialogue box will inform you that they need to be at work in one hour, just like it does when Sims own a car.
2- Optional school bus
9.) Antipedestrian Garage door (global) by Jordi
This global mod will change all Maxis garage doors, and prevent all Sims from using them as doors. Only cars will be allowed to pass through them.
10.) Car Woohoo Wants Limits by Kestrellyn
When you send sims on a date and there is a car on the lot, they always always always want to woohoo in the car, even if there is a perfectly good bed available. As far as I can tell, the only times people actually want to have sex in a car specifically is when a) they are teenagers trying to hide from their parents, b) they’re college dorm-dwellers trying to avoid their roommates, or c) they’re in public and the car is the most private location. In the Sims 2, teens can’t roll woohoo wants of any description, and I don’t think it’s even possible to buy a car on a dorm lot. So, this hack makes it so that sims only roll car woohoo wants when they are on a community lot where there is a car. If you have enabled car woohoo wants for teens in your game, teens should be able to roll those wants on a home lot with a car.
11.) Decorative Parking Spaces – with random cars parked by MogHughson
This object is a Decorative Parking space. When placed on a lot it will randomly generate a car parked in the space. To use it, first lay your preferred car park flooring; e.g tarmac, grass, cobblestones, then locate the Decorative Parking Space object in Build Mode->Garage (along with the driveways) and place one or more of them on top of your pre-prepared car park flooring. Cars will only be generated when live mode starts. Then the cars generated will stick for the period of time you are at the community lot. This has an extra benefit – if you don’t like the random selection of cars that have been generated you can try again, by switching out of and then back to live mode.
The cars will be randomly generated from the own able cars available in your game and downloads folders (see small caveat). The randomness is based on the time of day and the type of community lot and should thus mean that an appropriate number of cars are parked whenever you are visiting your community lot. These cars in the parking spaces are not yours, someone else parked them there. You can’t sit in them, drive away in them, or in any way use them. All interactions on these cars have been disabled. This should have no affect on your real cars (i.e. those that are not generated by the parking space).
12.) Park in the Car Park by MogHughson
This mod updates the driveway objects to allow the placing of them on community lots where they can then be used to park on by Sims driving to that lot.

16.) More Walkbys + Car Passbys by Piqiwi
Change walkby behavior from game’s default 5 times a day into every hour by a chance in the specific interval. Every hour, there is 40% chance of sims walk by. The number of sims that walk by is random between 1 to 4 sims at once. Walkbys will be occurred between 6 AM to 10 PM. There is no change on how the game chooses which sims will walk by. It is using game default mechanics. If you also install plugin 00, every hour from 6 AM to 10 PM there is 25% chance of 1 or 2 cars will pass by in front of your lot. The cars are taken from career car, since only career car that easily support passby. Cars passby has its own configuration inside plugin 00, in case you want to tuning the value of your desire. This mod also affects Hotel and Fraternity’s walk by behaviour. If you also install Holidays mod, this mod will make on holiday, if there is day off, it will reduces the number of walkbys and increase the number of cars passbys (if you install plugin 00) on the day of that holiday. You can change the configuraton (like the % chance, start hour and end hour of walkby, etc) by open “pqw_morewalkby.package” (or “pqw_morewalkby_plugin_00” for cars passby configuration) using SimPE.
17.) Cruise As Long As You Want by Squinge
This mod allows you to have your sims cruise in their car until you cancel the interaction.
18.) No More Horn Honking by Squinge
This hack removes the horn honking on all vehicles in the game.
19.) Restorable car is recolorable by Worf84
Enables the restorable car(once the car is completed) to have it’s paint job changed in Buy Mode or the with Design tool. It also allows SimPe to make recolors of the car that do not replace the default colors.
