A game fix mod is a broad term used to help tweak your game play experience a little bit more useful. Also see cleaner game play mods, beta testing mods and autonomous mods.
1.) No Met Self Memories by BoilingOil
A mod that simply prevents the “Met Self” memory to be generated, regardless of how it was caused.
2.) No Trash Memories by BoilingOil
Removes and prevents certain memories called Trash memories from begin generated in your game automatically that can usually cause game lag. That means your sims will no longer get any Met so-and-so memories and Moved In/Out out. Biggest feature is that it prevents gossip. This mod does NOT remove memories that have already been added to your sims. It only prevents NEW memories of certain types from being added. Also suppresses the hug bug if you have it
3.) Spawn Objects by BoilingOil
Be able to spawn mod objects while on Community Lots. IE: The Sim Blender or Sim Manipulator to name a couple. Has a list of 52 Mods that can be spawned at any given time. Simply click your Sim and choose “Spawn…” and select the desired mod.
4.) Census Tool 080712 by Christianlov
A simple tool which shows how many sims you have in the neighborhood.
5.) Dumb In Use Test by Cyjon
Sims will be stupider about deciding if an object is in use…which is a good thing.
Many actions use a “smart” in use test where a sim can tell an object is in use only if it’s in view. While this is realistic, it leads to silly situations. A sim is able to tell a shower is dirty from ten miles away, but as he climbs the stairs he doesn’t hear the water running, doesn’t care about the closed bathroom door, doesn’t see the steam coming out from underneath, and then is shocked to find his wife taking a shower. He exits, stands in the hall for a second, and then tries to clean the dirty shower again. And again. And again.
With this mod, sims always know if an object is in use and will waste less time trekking across the lot for futile actions. This has no effect on player-directed actions.
6.) Loop Fixes by Cyjon
Fixes some of the annoying loop behaviors by blocking actions if the sim is going to quit immediately. As an example, the original behavior which inspired this mod was: get book, sit down, open book, close book, stand up, put book away, stand there a second, hey look a bookcase! Behaviors covered are read book, write in diary, watch movie, use bubble machine, play computer game, juggle bottles, play in hammock, tai chi, mah jong, llama game, slide down banister, remote control cars and helicopter, basketball court, plantsim “get a drink”, tuck in (cribs and beds), dance solo, and using the diving board if already swimming. Sims can still do these things, but will be smarter about not starting a behavior when other motives are low.
7.) Memory Fixes by Cyjon
Fixes bugs with several sim memories. The memories and associated gossip fixed are:
– Lifetime Want – Marry Off X Children
– Lifetime Want – Have X Grandchildren
– Lifetime Want – Have X Best Friends
– Have Great/Lousy Anniversary Party
This won’t fix existing memories, only new ones generated after you install the mod.
8.) No Command Reaction by Cyjon
Sims will no longer waste time reacting (positively or negatively) to user commands.
9.) Smarter EP Check by Cyjon
This mod by itself does nothing, but is a required mod among many other mods (mainly Cyjon’s) to function properly.
10.) Social Push Tweaks by Cyjon
Prevents certain social actions from pushing commands on the target right away, messing up stacked social commands. When you try to stack a bunch of social commands sometimes the target becomes stuck. This is because sometimes the game pushes the action on the target right away rather than when the command comes up in the initiating sim’s command queue. So let’s say you give the commands Gossip, Joke, Friendly Hug, Dance Together. Both sims would stand there doing nothing. This is because the game pushes Dance Together immediately so Sim A is trying to Gossip but Sim B is trying to Dance Together. This mod prevents social actions from jumping the queue and blocking commands.
Pescado’s AL Fixes is a giant cleanup patch for The Sims 2 Apartment Life. A lot of these are small but really annoying bugs that EA never fixed.
1.) Cellphones no longer go through a Sim’s head when answered. Pure animation bug: This just fixes the visual glitch
2.) Receiving NL- Mail at an apartment now works. Refers to The Sims 2 Nightlife outing/dating mail. Bug: Apartment mailboxes would break completely Fix: Mail works normally again
3.) Fixes the cooking Skill after moving into an apartment. Sims could lose or glitch their cooking skill behavior this restores normal skill progression/function.
4.) Inactive apartment residents no longer slowly drained of hobby enthusiasm. Neighbors (NPC tenants) would Slowly lose all hobby interest over time, this fix keeps them “normal” instead of becoming hobby-less zombies
5.) Teens are able to work on restorable cars. Bug prevented teens from using car projects
6.) Pianos no longer ADHD due to function arguments being garbage. Sims would constantly stop playing piano caused by broken internal coding (“function arguments”). This fix makes them play normally and continuously
7.) Apartment resident kids not in the active family no longer lose grades everyday. Neighbor kids (not your household) would fail school automatically over time, this mod fixes and prevents grade decay for inactive families.
8.) No longer required to greet Gypsy(impossible) or employees<->customers. The Gypsy matchmaker and some NPCs required have impossible greetings which could cause stuck interactions or errors. This mod fixes removes that broken requirement
9.) Retrieve Date rewards dropped outside of apartments. Date rewards (flowers, gifts) could spawn outside and become unreachable. Fix ensures you can actually collect them
10.) Love Potion no longer restocks as nice potion instead. Shop bug: Love Potion would turn into the wrong item when restocked. Fix keeps it consistent.
11.) Chance cards at work/school no longer error if you walked. If a Sim walked to work/school chance cards (random events) could throw errors. Fix removes that issue
12.) Rent is due at 7pm so vampire tenants don’t die at noon. Originally: Rent collected at noon. Problem: Vampires would burn in sunlight answering landlord. Fix moves rent time to evening
13.) Social group townies no longer all generate as the same sex. Social groups (like gearheads, artists, etc.) would Spawn all male or all female. Fix restores normal gender mix
14.) Vacation townies will no longer need to perform AL greetings. They were incorrectly using apartment greeting rules, Fix makes them behave properly on vacation lots
15.) Pets no longer error when returning from work. Pets with jobs could Trigger game errors when coming home Fix stabilizes that system.
16.) Physiology fix for MGS. This refers to motive decay system (needs like hunger, energy, etc.) Fix corrects weird behavior introduced in Apartment Life, basically keeps needs functioning properly
17.) Orphaned 6s and 12s no longer error returning from school. Refers to broken time/event flags tied to school schedules. Fix prevents error spam when kids return home
18.) Apartment door locks now work. Locks were unreliable, neighbors could wander in. Fix makes apartment doors actually secure
19.) Urnstones in apartments no longer disappear or teleport to the curb. Gravestones/urns in apartments would vanish or move to the curb randomly. This mod fixes the loss of graves.

This is a really useful and handy mod that does a few things to help fix your game.
First: “Unbreaks your unplayable lot because your sims have all gone missing.” Sometimes your lot bugs out and Sims disappear completely, the lot loads but no one is there, and the household becomes basically unplayable👉 Think of it as a quick emergency repair for corrupted or glitched lots.
Second: 💸 “Depreciates everything to minimum normal value”
In normal gameplay, objects lose value over time (depreciation) but not always fast enough if you’re trying to lower lot value. The wand lets you Instantly set all objects to their lowest legal value and makes everything worth much less money.
👍 When you’d actually use it: Your household loads with missing Sims use wand to fix, Your house is worth way too much → use wand to drop value and You want to rebalance gameplay without cheats.
15.) NL Anti-Crash by Pescado
Reduces stupid-crashing in NL-based games due to specific NL engine bug.
16.) No Unneeded UI Sounds by Treeag
This disables annoying and unneeded sounds that got captured along in video. The sound when we pause and unpause the game, The sound when we change the game speed (1,2,3) The sound when a pie menu appear, The sound when you select an action, The sound when you cancel an action, The sound when you rotate the camera
17.) SimPe fix for the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection by Worf84
Fixes an issue doing with SimPe which prevented it from detecting if any of the expansion or stuff packs were installed, When the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection is installed. To tell if You have the issue fire up SimPe and then go to Extras, After which click on Preferences. Once the Preferences window opens up, Click the File table tab. If all the Expansion and stuff packs are greyed out then that means You have this issue.
