1.) 3 Fixed Toddler Beds – This mod can be found in the following categories:

Lamare’s mod is a fix + cleanup of existing custom toddler beds, originally made by other creators. It doesn’t add brand-new gameplay systems—it repairs and standardizes toddler beds so they behave properly.
🔧 What Lamare fixed
– No more error spam IE: Beds won’t throw game errors during use.
– Beds don’t get “stuck” unusable. Previously, some beds would act like they were occupied when they weren’t (unclickable bug).
– Better occupancy logic IE: Toddlers won’t try to climb into a bed that’s already in use.
– Adults interact properly IE: Sims can take toddlers out of bed without glitching.
– General polish / consistency IE The beds were “unified” so they behave the same way instead of each having different quirks.
Think of this mod as “Take a bunch of cool toddler beds that were kinda broken… and make them actually work like they should.”

Interaction “Ask – What’s Your Job?”, usually only about career, now also reveals if sim has an NPC job, is retired, student, business owner or employee.

This global mod allows sims to access any high chair from left and right sides and also access diagonally placed highchairs. Custom chairs work as well. Now toddlers can sit at the table with their family.

In The Sims 2, when you click Ask → What’s Your Job?
You usually only get a basic career title (e.g., “I’m a Police Officer”).
That’s it. It doesn’t account for: NPC roles (maid, cashier, etc.), Business ownership, Students or Retired Sims.
👉 So a lot of Sims give generic or misleading answers
This mod expands the possible answers so they reflect a Sim’s actual situation, not just their career slot. Instead of one generic response, you’ll now see things like:
“I’m a [NPC Type]” (maid, gardener, etc.)
“I’m the owner of [community lot name]”
“I’m a business owner”
“I’m a [employee] at [lot name]”
“I’m a [school type] student”
“I’m a college student”
“I’m a retired [job title]”
👉 It can even combine info (like employee + business context)
6.) Autonomous Ocean Swimming + Hydrophobic/Loves To Swim – This mod can be found in the Hydrophobic/Loves to Swim
The base mod (edited by Midge the Tree) is itself built on an older ocean swimming tweak.
Midge’s Mod:

👉 So it’s basically a smart autonomy mod for beach lots.
Lamare didn’t redesign the mod—they fixed the broken routing/interaction logic. Specifically, the fix:
✔ Prevents Sims from attempting to swim in invalid tiles (no more “ground swimming”)
✔ Keeps the hydrophobic / loves-to-swim behavior intact
✔ Updates the interaction so it matches Lamare’s newer, more stable version

Summer Only version → Sims will only autonomously swim in summer

It’s a tiny tweak on the ACR Mod. As they quote the changes are:
If both the acting sim and the target sim have 0/0 gender preference towards any gender, it’s fair game for the autonomous interaction to go through. If any of the sims have preferred gender, the game checks if they’re compatible. Other conditions like age and family checks are still applied, of course
9.) Autonomous ocean swimming depending on season, temperature, personality, etc – This mod can be found in the Vacation Mods Category
With this mod installed both playable sims and visitors can and will autonomously swim in the ocean, provided there’s a beach and no restrictions are met. (They kinda could already, but hardly ever did.)
Sim’s decision whether to get in water or not, depends on: current season, presence of deep snow (because you don’t want snow angels in swimwear), outdoor temperature (must be at least comfortable outside or it’s no fun), body temperature, and more.

This is a modified list of items that your sim can bring back from hiking. Made for the Planting Overhaul.
17.) Hobby Lot Visitors Fix – This mod can be found in the Hobby Mods Category
Fixes a few things about uncontrolled visitors the game generates on hobby lots:
– sims that do not have a membership card get it and receive a memory of it as long as they have 5+ enthusiasm
– sims from the current family that were supposed to be left at home can’t visit
– sims from the family bin can’t visit
– vampires can only arrive from 9 pm to 5 am
– with “MORE” version there are more visitors to hobby lots: 5-10 sims at the start + a 50% chance of 1-3 new visitors every hour, up to 15 in total.
It only applies to uncontrolled sims who arrive to hobby lots naturally, one or two sims at a time. Therefore the membership aspect’s effect on the neighborhood will be gradual and depend on how often you visit the lots.
18.) Hold that newspaper and phone between actions and queue cell actions during calls – Mod is listed under the following categories:

Hold That Newspaper– As was mentioned by someone, sims shouldn’t drop newspaper if their next interaction is with the same paper. With this mod, sims hold the paper between actions, excluding debug ones, because those don’t have animations. They still fold and unfold it. Fixing this would require changing every newspaper interaction in an invasive way, and you want to save those for a better modding cause.
Hold That Phone– Between calls, sims hold their phone handset that they used to put back on base station every time. They hang/drop it as soon as their next interaction is not with the phone any more.Cell phone interactions don’t disappear on sims, if they are already talking, so we can queue up next call. Sims still put cells back in their pockets, but it’s real quick. And again, fixing this requires overriding too much stuff for my taste – cell phone interactions are matryoshkas with each one checking the pocket for cell phone or playing animation.

– No more waiting in Live Mode for newly bought beds to become fully functional
– No more untimely unhiding in visited neighbors’ apartments
20.) Job options mod set – This mod can be found in the Job Related Mods
This is a set of global mods that change a few things about jobs.
– Choose part-time or full-time career type: A dialog pops up when your sim is about to use computer or paper to find a job that asks if you would like a full time job or a part time job.
– Ask before promoting: Promotions are mostly offered instead of being pushed on sims and pets. A dialog pops up for player to accept or decline new position. Promotions can happen on special occasions like when a random boss’s cousin promises promotion (networking bonus), after the next work day, sims are presented with an offer. Or when a colleague pulls some strings (good relationships or love?), sims get an offer. A better promotion deal means Sims have a 40% chance of getting second offer, after they decline the first one, provided they qualify and have good job performance. Better promotion deal takes sims to even higher position (skip level), but never to the top.
– Jobs in University ‘hood: Sims and pets can work while being in university ‘hood. Sims from teen to elder, including young adults, can find a job on computer and newspaper.
– Young adults want and fear work: Young adults can have wishes and fears about work: find a job, go to work, get a promotion, etc. Young adults may want to find a job only if their interest in work is higher then in school and entertainment, OR if they have less then §100 in funds. Thus, fewer students want to get a job. Working sims may want to find another career, if their job performance is poor (not only young adults). Makes for a better story: sometimes people want to change careers, and that’s fine.
– Part & full time careers mutually satisfy wants: Getting a part-time job satisfies a want to get a full-time job in a corresponding career and vice versa – getting a full-time job satisfies a want to get a part-time job in a corresponding career. Only works for maxis careers, because of individual ID’s.
21.) Lifetime Want Chooser – This mod can be found in the Aspiration Mods Category
This object lets you manually choose a lifetime want for your sim. No cycling one by one, just pick from a list! Has an option to ignore restrictions and choose an LTW that isn’t normally available to a sim of certain aspiration. All known lifetime wants are updated and have slightly changed prerequisites to consider interests and hobbies, as a side bonus.
22) Lost & Found – Lit Clothing Shop Sign – This mod can be found in the Open For Business Category
Turns out, there was a lit texture for clothing shop sign, all this time, but a mix-up in text files prevented it from showing up. Technically, material names and subset names were wrong.
So, just to be clear, this is not a recolor, but unlocked lit state that meant to be available for the shirt sign. Some other signs already have it enabled.
23.) Love Letter Bug Fix – This mod can be found in the Dating Mods Subcategory
With this fix viewing love letter won’t throw an error anymore. There was a missing BCON value, which is now present. Love letter is a reward for a good date. It’s a card you can take out of your mailbox, put on a surface and view it (and get jealous because your wife apparently went out with this dude).
24.) Lower job promotion chances – This mod can be found in the Job Related Mods Subcategory
Everyday promotions seem too rushed sometimes. Normally, sims have a 100% chance to be promoted, given they meet the next level reqs. Make it 75%, 50%, 25% or even 10%. Let them stick around in their positions for a (random) while longer.
25.) LTW Icons Fixed – This mod can be found in the Aspiration Mods Category
Resized and edited icons for lifetime wants from Pets, Seasons and Free Time, to make them the same size and shape as original lifetime want icons. With these, there will be less cutting off icons when you hover over sim’s LTW. They will still act a little wonky when you hover over them many times.

27.) Maternity outfit fixed for young adults – This mod can be found in the Pregnancy & Fertility Mods Subcategory
With this fix, pregnant young adults will properly wear maternity outfits. Same as adults, students will get a full set of pregnancy clothes (maternity, undies, pajamas, swimming) by default, without having to buy them first. You won’t have to download meshes with preg morphs, fiddle with defaults, buy fitting clothes and assign them with mods. Although, you will be able to do all of that, if you want.

With this mod installed sims will perform and be shy or confident at it. Others will sit and applaud or boo or do other reactions. Small stage works really well, audience will not crowd it up, because there’s no tip jar with microphone.

Oh hey! You seem like a pretty insightful person. I’m developing a new product and I’d be interested to hear your feedback on it. Here’s a free sample for you to mess around with.
Simply a mod that adds new objects to the list of ridiculously expensive product samples with objects like bag of chips, toys, books, magazines, and perfume as if they’re gathering feedback on a new taste or smell, or trying to create buzz around new publication. You can customize it to your liking or leave it as it is.
31.) Move-in Assets Fixed and Improved – This mod can be found in the Moving Mods Subcategory
This mod fixes two issues with wrong funds when sims move in by invitation or marriage. It also allows to choose how much money to transfer from split household (optional feature). Fix: Sims get the money for their sold house when they move in from another sub-hood. Without the fix, they only bring their cash funds.
Example of the problem: Let’s say, you play Malcolm in Bluewater. He married Brandy from Pleasantview, and she brought her kids with her. You’d think she sold her trailer and should bring in some decent money, but due to the bug, she only brought her pitiful cash. Not with this mod! Another example is if sims got married not where they live, e.g. while on vacation or on a community lot in a different sub-hood. These cases are also covered by the mod.
Technically, the game gets family’s net worth wrong if that family lives NOT in the sub-hood you are currently in. It counts only their funds, but not the value of their house. Dorms and apartments are special. Sims moving in from those lots bring in only their cash funds, no matter the subhood. So, have your sims pack their stuff before they move.
Example: Don is about to marry Nina, and she lives in an apartment alone. Switch to her lot first and pack her own things into her inventory or sell them to get the money, and then go back to Don’s and have a wedding. The stuff she leaves at the apartment is lost forever, and the landlord won’t pay for it. Same goes for dorms.

32.) No Outdoor Idle With Object In Hand – This mod can be found in the Misc Mods Category
In The Sims 2 (especially with the Mansion & Garden Stuff pack), Sims have an outdoor idle animation where they put their hand over their eyes to block the sun. (It kinda looks like a salute 😅) That’s fine… until they’re holding something.
Then you get weird moments like a Sim carrying a trash bag… while saluting the sun or objects clipping or looking stiff and broken.
🔧 What Lamare’s mod actually does
Instead of removing the animation entirely, the mod, it only disables outdoor idle animations ONLY when a Sim is holding an object.
There’s an older mod by TwoJeffs called No Shade Eyes Salute. But that removes the eye salute all together, not just if a Sim is holding an object or not.

34.) OMSP – Invisible Kitchen Surface – This mod can be found in the Buy Mode Mods Category
This object works like a kitchen counter, but invisible, to provide additional surface where you need it. Another idea is to add it to dinning table for sims to drop group platters after serving a meal.
35.) Personal Trainer Fix – This mod can be found in the Fitness & Workout Mods Subcategory
Fixes an issue that exercise equipment sometimes doesn’t let a sim be a personal trainer due to an attribute not being properly cleared after previous use. Bonus “money” version adds a tweak to trainer’s pay. Sims with maxed out body skill and fitness hobby get paid double amount per hour. Unmodded it is $70 x 2 = $140. (Hobby is only checked if FT is installed.)
36.) Pets and Toddlers on Vacation – This mod can be found in the Vacation Mods Category
Normally, only humans from child to elder can travel to vacation destinations. This mod lets everyone but babies go on vacation.
If toddlers, puppies and kittens are free from any containers and can move around, they crawl near the car and poof. Otherwise they disappear from their beds/chairs/person’s hands/whatever’s holding them. If they can’t get near the car for any reason, they just poof. In any case, rugrats will be linked to vacation party and appear at destination with everyone else.
37.) Pets at University – This mod can be found in the University Housing Subcategory
This is a set of overrides with a simple goal – to liberate young adults and college neighborhoods from restrictions on pets.
This mod allows young adults and university residents to:
– Adopt cats and dogs from pet shelter
– Give them up for adoption
– Sell and give pets to playable young adults
– Buy pets in shops from pet displays
– Hire obedience trainer
– Have wants and fears about pets
Students living in main ‘hood and non-students living on campus will be able to do all these things as well. At the moment, teens can’t take their pets with them by taxi when they’re moving to college but the creator plans on updating this.
38.) Plantable Orchard Trees – This mod can be found in the Gardening Subcategory
Say, you want to plant an apple tree. Buy apple tree seeds from a stand on community lot or from garden club NPC and keep the packet in your inventory. Place a garden plot somewhere on your lot. Fertilize it, if you want, and plant a seed. It will grow like a regular garden plant, going from dirt pile to sprout to a little tree. You have to water it, pull weeds and occasionally spray for bugs. Without care, it may wither and die. Be patient, trees take longer to grow. In about 6-7 sim-days, the plant will turn into a full grown tree. It’ll be an actual harvestable orchard tree with all the functions you expect from it. You get 6 new plants. Pick and choose: you can have any or all of them, but not more than one version of a tree type. Each plant come with seeds.
39.) Planting Overhaul – This mod can be found in the Gardening Subcategory
Buy seeds and fertilizer from a stand on community lots. Fertilize soil using bought bags or homemade compost, including that from custom compost bins. Plant Maxis and custom plants into Maxis garden plot – new system, you can add new plants to the plot kind of how you add new recipes to the fridge! Buy special seeds from garden club, matchmaker or witch NPCs. Make your own seeds from crops by drying them on a tray. Set shopping stand for sale in owned businesses.
40.) Poker – Skill Based Nuances – This mod can be found in the Gaming Mods Subcategory
This little mod gives you a way to improve at poker and work on your skills, rather than relying solely on luck. It adds two things: highly creative sims have a chance to cheat at poker to fake a better hand, unless they’re nice (7+ creativity, up to 4 niceness).Highly charismatic sims may have other sims buy into their bluff and fold when they wouldn’t otherwise, unless those sims have a pretty good hand or higher charisma (7+ charisma is considered high here). The changes are subtle, and high skills do not guarantee winning, because who’d want to play with sims who always win? By the way, there is someone who always wins — Unsavory Charlatan
41.) Propose Idea – Social Interaction – This mod can be found in the Social Mods Category
You think up a question in your head. Click ‘Propose… Idea’ on another sim. Sim does a short speech and then asks a question. The other sim listens and either accepts or rejects it. No text notifications or speech bubbles, the answer is also in your head! (It would break the immersion if they didn’t fit the context)
Interaction result is random, but has a few if’s. Nice sims are more agreeable while grouchy are more disagreeable. Very bad mood, very low relationships and furiousness make rejection more likely. High chemistry attraction tips the scales in favor of acceptance
42.) Shiftable Everything – Move Any Object Up and Down – This mod can be found in the Buy Mode Mods Subcategory
Tired of fiddly OMSPs and want to decorate more easily like in the Sims 4? Yeah. Move ANY object up and down.
43.) Simple Laundry – This mod can be found in the Laundry Mods Subcategory
This set adds laundry to your game. Wash clothes in a washing machine or in sink, dry them in a dryer or on clothesline, drop clothing piles on the floor, store dirty laundry in hampers, build commercial laundromat, and get motive bonuses for doing laundry!
44.) Slide Down Error Fix for Custom Stairs and Ladders – This mod can be found in the Stair Mods Subcategory
With this global fix sims won’t cause errors and jump bugs trying to slide down the custom stairs and ladders. When a sim is considering sliding down, the game checks if the type of stairs is OK. Most, if not all, custom stairs are not so with this mod a list of approved for sliding straight stairs that include all the Maxis ones, except for “Step It Up” Pyramid that has no railings (it was originally excluded, too).f
45.) Spellbook Material Fix – Examine Animation – This mod can be found in the Witch Mods Subcategory
There is a bug with the spell book. When it attacks a sim that has no business looking at it, it looks like a neutral book regardless of its alignment. With this fix, the book has the correct material.
46.) Supplies Mod + 40 Objects – This mod can be found in the Hygiene Mods Subcategory
You buy special items like soap and place them around the house like you would place bathroom clutter. Every time sims clean something or bathe, they subtract points from a nearby product if there are any. Once a bottle/box is used up, it disappears or looks empty and brings up notification. Some items may be refilled for money or from other objects.

This mod is a 2 and 1 fix. It lets you turn a normal crib into a toddler bed.

In an unmodded Sims 2 game, once you put trash inside of a bin, it will always show just a little bit of visual trash and never show it as completely empty, even after you take it out.
This mod is a visual fix so once the trash is taken out, so is the bin.

50.) Unmade Bed: auto put off/on decorative blankets, pillows, etc. – This mod can be found in the Bed/Bedroom Mods Subcategory
I’ve always liked decorative bed blankets and pillows, but almost never used them. Clipping through sims would bug me, and no way I would remove those decorations by hand every time sims go to bed. This mod automatically hides decor located on a bed when sims go to sleep, relax or jump on that bed, and unhides it when they get out and make the bed
51.) Upgrade to Full Time Job –This mod can be found in the Job Related Mods Subcategory
This is a custom phone call that allows sims to upgrade from a part-time career to a corresponding full-time career.
Remember how working teens grow up and get transferred from a teen career to an adult career branch (e.g. teen culinary → adult culinary with promotion)? This mod does the same thing, but for adults and elders, and at any time. Just call Work → Upgrade to Full Time Career. The phone call is available to sims who have a part time job. On top of the standard procedure, your sim will get a memory of promotion and fulfill some wants: to enter career track, to get a promotion, to reach certain career level.
52.) Use Inaccessible Bed – This mod can be found in the Bed/Bedroom Mods Subcategory
With this mod sims will be able to use beds blocked by objects or placed by walls – sleep, relax, jump and make them. It’s inspired by Inge Jones’ mod, but very different from it. Sims won’t perform getting into bed in the wrong place. The mod uses complex routing and jumping animations for smoother look, even though not perfect.
