Hygiene Mods

1.) Sanitary Sanity by BoilingOil

This mod combines two mods that were incompatible together. TJ from SimBiology AlwaysFlushToiletWashHands and Squinge’s Male Pee Sitting down.

Now ALL sims use the toilet sitting; they always flush, and neat enough sims (neatness 3 or more) wash their hands. There are two versions of this mod: the normal version, and the No-Privacy (NP) version. The latter should stop most (but probably not exactly ALL) sims from shooing others out of the bathroom.

2.) Faster Zits by Cyjon

Teens develop acne in half the time. This scales the pimple timeline to fit the shorter lifespan of 8 Day Teens

3.) Buyable Soap by Gdayars

Buy a bar of soap.

4.) Functional Soap by Gdayars

Buy a bar of soap to clean your Sims. Uses the same animations as the sponge bath animations.

5.) Pedicure Bath Chair b y Gdayars

Have your sim sit in the chair, then you click on them again, and they will have the option to soak, and when they do soak, their hygiene, fun and comfort rise. The sim has to be sitting in the chair before the soak option will come up when you click on them.

6.) Hygiene gain from swimming by Gummilutt

This is a global mod that adds hygiene gain to swimming. It affects swimming pools, swimmable lakes and swimming in the ocean on beach lots. However, Sims only gain hygiene up to a certain point. While it makes sense that swimming would get rid of some dirt and sweat, it’s more realistic that they retain some degree of dirtiness to account for the fact that it’s swimming pool or ocean water which has more dirt in it than shower/tub water. Once they reach the set cap, the hygiene gain ceases.

7.) Invisible medicine cabinet 2.0 by Gummilutt

This is a combination download, consisting of a cloned Reflected Pride Medicine Cabinet that has been turned invisible, and a global mod that enables sinks to recognize the cloned invisible medicine cabinet. It only recognizes this specific clone though, no others. The mod is not necessary for the cabinet to work, but without it the options to brush teeth and wash face will not be available on sinks placed beneath the mirror. Instead you’ll have to click the invisible cabinet and select the options.

8.) Less Zits by Gummilutt

This is a global mod that lowers the hygiene threshold below which zits could appear. In original coding Sim teens are at risk of getting zits if their hygiene drops below 75%, so less than 3/4 full hygiene bar. There are two versions of this mod.
1.) Less Zits- Teens won’t be at risk of zits unless their hygiene bar goes below half full. This intended for those of you that like zits, but would like to see them a little less frequently. And if a specific teen wants to avoid zits they can do so by taking a little extra care of hygiene, while still having room to exercise a bit.
2.) Almost No Zits- Teens won’t be at risk of zits unless their hygiene bar is completely drained. This is intended for those of you that would like to see no zits at all. There’s still a small risk, but as long as you stay away from babies throwing up on your Sim you should be able to avoid zits.

9.) Children and teens use communal showers by Kestrellyn

You might have noticed that if you try to get children and teens to use communal showers together (or with adults) people will get shooed even though the shower is supposedly communal. This changes it to allow everyone to use the communal shower as a communal shower.

10.) Don’t wash dishes in my bathroom! by Marhis

In a nutshell, it prevents sims from dish washing in all sinks but 2, usually put in kitchen counters. If no dishwasher is present, or is busy, sims will dispose dishes in the trash, instead of walking to the en-suite bathroom on the third floor.

Sims will no longer insist on arriving with a full bladder only to storm off again, sometimes immediately. Parties will no longer be about swarms to use the bathroom.

13.) Hygiene Bug Fix by Pescado

Fixes bug in hygiene-code when a sim becomes stinky as a result of an external action, (Me != Param0), because the original code by Maxis is munged.

Pee is yellow. Non-pee is not yellow. Neat sims do not like it when people pee on the floor. Pee does not spawn tasteable puddles if more pee appears.

15.) Customers Use Showers And Tubs by Squinge

This mod allows customers/visitors to use all showers & baths on all lots.

16.) Fun Gain While Taking A Bubble Bath by Squinge

This mod allows sims to gain fun while they are taking a bubble bath.

17.) Higher Hygiene for Communal Shower by Squinge

This mod changes the hygiene gain from the communal shower to the level they gain from the most expensive shower.

18.) Male Sims Pee Sitting by Squinge

This mod prevents male sims from standing while they pee

19.) No More Roaches by Squinge

This mod prevents roaches from spawning.

20.) No Vermin Spam by Squinge

This mod prevents duplicate saw vermin memories from being created.
