The following are all known Sims 2 mods listed for Neder. If any mods aren’t working or more mods by this creator are found, please leave a message on this page.

1.) Bubble Blowing is Social

This mod makes using the Bubble Blower a true social activity. Normally, Sims can sit together and blow bubbles for hours without gaining or losing any relationship points with one another. This mod allows conversations while using the Bubble Blower to affect relationships, similar to conversations that occur while Sims eat together.

Relationship changes can be either positive or negative depending on how the conversation goes, allowing Sims to actually build—or damage—their relationships while enjoying the Bubble Blower together.

2.) Buyable Reagents

This mod allows witches and warlocks to purchase spell reagents instead of having to craft every ingredient at the cauldron. The mod comes with two versions to choose from:
1.) Simoleon Version: Adds reagents to the Hobbies/Miscellaneous section of the Buy Mode catalog, where they cost §20–§50 each. If Open for Business is installed, reagents can also be placed for sale in player-owned businesses and restocked directly from the catalog.
2.) Aspiration Version: Adds reagents to the Aspiration Rewards catalog, where they cost 200–500 Aspiration Points each.

3.) Cell Phone, MP3 and Handheld Available in Buy Mode

This makes the University electronic gadgets directly available for purchase from the Buy Mode catalog. Sims can purchase a Cell Phone, MP3 Player, or Handheld Game at home without having to travel to a community lot and use the electronics kiosk. The gadgets can be found under Electronics → Small Electronics. After purchasing one, simply place it on the floor and move it into the Sim’s inventory for normal use.

The download contains three separate files—one for each gadget—so you can install only the items you want. Note that purchasing the gadgets this way will not fulfill wants to buy them, although the want will cycle out after the item is placed in the Sim’s inventory.

4.) Day Setter

This mod adds a simple cheat object that allows you to change the current day of the week on a residential lot. Select the object and choose any of the other six days of the week, and the lot’s day will immediately change to your selection. The Day Setter can be found under Miscellaneous → Miscellaneous in Buy Mode and costs §1.

The updated version adjusts both the current day and the number of days the lot has been running so that the calendar continues to advance correctly at midnight after making a change. The adjustment only moves the lot’s internal day count forward and does not affect your Sims’ ages. This can be particularly useful for correcting a household’s calendar, synchronizing households in rotational play, or simply skipping ahead to a particular weekday.

5.) Dinner for 8 (extra servings for all meals)

This mod increases the number of servings produced by group meals from the default 6 servings to 8 servings.

Custom foods are not automatically affected, since each food must be modified individually. However, custom foods that replace an existing Maxis food should use the increased serving amount.

6.) Don’t Mess with My Newspaper (or Trash)

This is a collection of three separate behavior mods designed to stop random walkby Sims from interfering with your household’s newspaper and trash can. The three optional mods prevent walkbys from:

Stealing the newspaper
Reading the newspaper
Kicking over the trash can

Each behavior is provided as a separate package, allowing you to install only the restrictions you want. The mods specifically affect random Sims walking past the lot; furious visitors who are actually visiting the household may still steal newspapers or knock over the trash.

7.) Four NPC Expurgators

This mod is a collection of four separate mods that prevent certain NPCs and animals from spawning or appearing on lots. Each mod is independent, allowing you to install only the ones for NPCs you would rather remove from your game. The four included options are:
1.) No Skunk — Prevents skunks from appearing on residential lots. Requires Pets.
2.) No Pickpocket — Prevents the Unsavory Charlatan from appearing and pickpocketing Sims. Requires Bon Voyage.
3.) No Penguin — Prevents the penguin from appearing on lots. Requires Seasons.
4.) No NPC Witches — Prevents NPC witches from appearing on community lots. Playable witches are unaffected. Requires Apartment Life.

The files can be mixed and matched depending on which expansion packs you have installed and which NPCs you want to eliminate from your game.

8.) Gnome Security

This mod provides two different ways to protect your Sims’ garden gnomes from being stolen by mischievous Sims. Choose between two versions:

GnoMoreStealing — Completely disables the interaction that allows Sims to steal garden gnomes.
Electric Gnome — Sims can still attempt to steal a gnome, but instead receive an electric shock that knocks them off their feet and prevents the theft.

9.) Joggers Don’t Walk Off Lot

This mod fixes a small animation and routing annoyance with the Go Jogging interaction introduced with FreeTime. Normally, when a Sim is instructed to go jogging, they route to the mailbox, perform their pre-jog stretches, and then simply walk off the lot before beginning their jog. This mod changes the behavior so Sims properly jog off the lot after stretching instead. This is a simple visual and behavioral fix that makes the transition into the jogging activity look more natural.

10.) Karaoke Builds Charisma (NL and/or AL)

This mod changes karaoke singing from a Creativity-building activity to a Charisma-building activity, giving Sims a more entertaining way to develop their Charisma skill than practicing speeches in front of a mirror. The mod also changes how other Sims react to a performance. Audience reactions, including cheering, booing, and relationship gains or losses, are based on the performer’s Charisma skill rather than Creativity. The actual quality and sound of the Sim’s singing remains dependent on Creativity. This means a Sim with terrible Creativity but excellent Charisma can sing horribly while still winning over the crowd.

11.) NinjaCheat: Learn Teleport and Tai Chi instantly

This mod adds a hacked painting that allows Sims to instantly learn two abilities normally associated with the Far East vacation destination in Bon Voyage. The Portrait of Master Po provides menu options that allow a Sim to:

Learn Ninja Teleportation — Instantly teaches the Sim the teleport ability normally learned from the Ninja. The appropriate memory for learning teleportation is also added.
Master Tai Chi — Instantly maximizes the Sim’s hidden Tai Chi skill without requiring them to practice and gradually improve.

12.) No More “Dance Face”

This mod fixes the awkward facial expression Sims make while dancing.

By default, dancing Sims use the game’s “confused” facial overlay, which can sometimes remain stuck on their faces even after the Dance Together interaction has ended. This mod replaces the confused expression with a smile and modifies the dancing interactions so that facial animations are properly cleared once Sims finish dancing.

13.) No Relationships with Burglars

This mod prevents Sims from forming relationships with burglar NPCs after experiencing a burglary. Normally, a burglar entering a Sim’s home can cause the burglar to appear in the Sim’s relationship panel. Sims may then repeatedly become furious with or cry about the burglar, and the resulting relationship can linger long after the burglary is over. With this mod installed, burglars are treated as NPCs that Sims do not need to personally meet, preventing a relationship from being created with them during a burglary. This helps keep burglars out of Sims’ relationship panels while leaving the burglary itself intact.

14.) No Relationships with DJs

This mod prevents Sims from automatically forming relationships with DJ NPCs simply by interacting with them at the DJ booth. Normally, business interactions with DJs, such as requesting a song, can cause the DJ to count as someone your Sim has “met.” This adds the DJ to the Sim’s relationship panel and can contribute unnecessary NPC relationships and memories. With this mod installed, Sims can continue interacting with DJs normally without creating a personal relationship with them, helping keep relationship panels and memories from becoming cluttered with NPCs encountered only through routine service interactions.

15.) No Relationships with Delivery People

This mod prevents Sims from automatically forming relationships with NPCs simply because they accept a delivery from them. Normally, accepting a delivery can cause the delivery person to count as someone your Sim has met, adding an unnecessary relationship, social changes, and memories for an NPC they may never interact with again. With this mod installed, accepting a delivery will no longer create these social attachments. The mod affects: pizza, grocery and Chinese food deliveries.

Sims can still socialize and form relationships with delivery people normally if you choose to interact with them. The mod only prevents the delivery itself from automatically creating the relationship.

16.) No Relationships with Servers

This mod is a collection of three mods that prevent Sims from automatically forming relationships with service NPCs during routine transactions. The three optional files affect:
Baristas — Prevents Sims from establishing a relationship with baristas when purchasing espresso. Requires University.
Bartenders — Prevents Sims from establishing a relationship with bartenders when purchasing drinks. Other Sims sitting at the bar can still socialize with your Sim normally. Requires Nightlife.
Restaurant Hosts & Servers — Prevents Sims from automatically meeting the host/hostess or waiter/waitress while dining at a restaurant. Interactions with other diners are unaffected. Requires Nightlife.

These restrictions only apply while the NPC is performing the relevant service or transaction. Sims can still deliberately interact and form relationships with these NPCs normally at other times.

17.) No Smiling in CAS

This mod removes the constant smiling and exaggerated grinning Sims normally do while their appearance is being edited in Create-a-Sim. Instead of maintaining a smirk or suddenly breaking into a large grin, Sims will generally return to a neutral facial expression, making it easier to accurately see their facial features while adjusting their face, hair, and makeup. Sims may still briefly make certain expressions after selecting something such as a new hairstyle, but their face will return to neutral afterward. Full-body CAS animations are unaffected, so Sims will continue performing their usual outfit reactions and other body movements.

18.) Photos from UNI Camera. Photo Booth and BV Cam made Shiftable

This mod allows special photographs generated through gameplay to be moved vertically up and down walls using the wall-shifting feature introduced with Apartment Life.

19.) Playable Sims Can Witchify

This mod allows Sims to ask playable witches to transform them into a witch, rather than requiring one of the NPC High Witches. If a playable witch knows the Magus Mutatio spell, another controllable Sim can ask them to perform the transformation while the witch is visiting the lot. This works similarly to asking one of the game’s High Witches to initiate a Sim into witchcraft. The normal requirements still apply:
1.) The two Sims must meet the required friendship level.
2.) The visiting witch must first be greeted before the option becomes available.
3.) The playable witch must know the Magus Mutatio spell.

When the witch is an uncontrolled visitor, they do not need to have the necessary reagents in their inventory to cast the spell. However, when you are actively controlling the witch, the normal reagent requirements still apply. This makes playable witches much more useful for spreading witchcraft throughout a neighborhood and allows established witches to initiate friends and other Sims without relying on the NPC High Witches.

20.) Red Warlocks (and Optional Defaults)

This mod adds red versions of the male Neutral Warlock clothing and hats from Apartment Life, providing a more colorful alternative for warlocks who follow the path between Good and Evil magic. The set includes red warlock outfits and matching hats for Teen, Young Adult, Adult, and Elder males. The regular versions are available to both warlocks and non-warlocks and are categorized as Everyday, Formal, and Outerwear.

Optional default replacements are also included. When installed, these replace the standard grey Neutral Warlock clothing and hair with Neder’s red versions. Unlike the regular custom-content versions, the defaults will not normally appear for non-warlocks unless another mod is installed that unlocks the witch and warlock outfits. The hats are available for all hair colors, with the colors properly binned and familied. Grey is included with the black hair set to avoid unnecessary duplicate entries.

21.) Red Witches (and optional defaults)

This mod adds vibrant red versions of the female Neutral Witch clothing and hats from Apartment Life, providing an alternative to the standard grey appearance of Sims who follow the path between Good and Evil magic.

22.) Robots are Science/Toys are Tinkering/Flowers are Nature

This mod changes which FreeTime hobby enthusiasm Sims gain while using several crafting stations, giving the activities hobby associations that better match what Sims are actually creating. The mod can change the crafting activities so that: Robot Crafting builds Science enthusiasm instead of Tinkering. Toy Making builds Tinkering enthusiasm instead of Arts & Crafts. Flower Arranging builds Nature enthusiasm instead of Arts & Crafts.

Seven different versions are available, allowing you to use any individual change or combination of the three. Only one version should be installed at a time, since the crafting stations share the same enthusiasm-related game behavior and the files cannot be combined independently. This gives Science- and Nature-oriented Sims additional activities for developing their hobbies while shifting Toy Making toward Tinkering, leaving Arts & Crafts focused more heavily on activities such as painting, pottery, and sewing.

23.) Semi-Autonomous Movies

This mod reduces Sims’ tendency to autonomously start watching movies while still allowing movie-loving Sims to enjoy them on their own. With this mod installed, Sims will only autonomously choose Watch Movie when one of the following conditions is met:

1.) The Sim is currently selected, allowing you to easily cancel the interaction if you don’t want them watching a movie.
2.) Film & Literature is the Sim’s One True Hobby.
3.) Another Sim who meets one of those conditions is already watching a movie, allowing other Sims to join them.

If a selected Sim autonomously decides to watch a movie but you deselect them before they finish routing to the television, the interaction will be cancelled unless Film & Literature is their One True Hobby. This helps prevent visitors and household members from constantly becoming absorbed in movies while preserving autonomous movie watching when it makes sense for the Sim’s interests or when they’re joining someone else.

24.) Variable Meal Servings

This mod allows you to control how many servings Sims prepare when making group meals, rather than always producing the standard six servings. The mod adds a Variable Meal Server (VMS) controller that can be placed on individual lots. Clicking the controller allows you to set the default meal size to 2–10, 12, 16, or 20 servings. Once selected, the setting applies to meals prepared on that lot until you change it again.

For example, a household of four can be set to prepare four servings for everyday meals, then temporarily changed to seven when guests come over for dinner. The amount of food units required to prepare a meal automatically adjusts according to the selected number of servings. Two versions of the controller object are included: A wall-mounted smoke detector, which can be hidden underneath a functioning smoke detector using moveObjects. Or A flower vase, which can be placed on tables, counters, or the floor.

Both controllers have identical functionality, cost §0, and can be found under Appliances → Small. You can install either or both. An optional Community Lot Plug-In extends the system to meals prepared on community-lot grills. Apartment Life players can also install an optional Creatus Nutrimens Plug-In, allowing the serving setting to affect meals conjured by witches using the Creatus Nutrimens spell. Previously prepared but unserved meals retain the number of servings they had when they were originally created. Removing the controller returns the lot to the normal game default—or to the serving amount established by another default-serving mod.

25.) Visitors, Stay off my stuff!

This is a collection of mods that prevents visiting Sims from taking over certain objects in your Sims’ homes. With the appropriate files installed, visitors will ignore the Ballet Barres, The Career Reward Ballet Barre, Violins, and Computers when using Browse Web

Visitors will no longer make a beeline for these objects and remain occupied with them for long periods of time. The restriction applies specifically to visitors, so household members can continue using the objects both autonomously and when directed. The restrictions do not apply normally on community lots, where playable and non-playable Sims can still use the affected objects. On business lots, customers and other visitors can therefore continue using them as usual. On Apartment Life lots, affected objects placed in common areas can only be used by members of the currently played household. In University dorms, fraternities, and houses, access is similarly limited to members of the occupying household.

26.) Witch Hats Enabled for Outerwear

This mod enables the witch and warlock hats from Apartment Life for use with the Outerwear clothing category. By default, witch hats aren’t available when Sims change into their cold-weather clothing. With this mod installed, witches and warlocks can keep their signature hats on while wearing Outerwear. The change applies to all ages and genders that have witch hats, allowing them to maintain their magical appearance even when heading outside in cold or snowy weather.
