1.) Moody Birds by BoilingOil
Makes birds a little grumpier in the game with a higher chance of being bitten. Sims will also close the cage door after play. It shortens autonomous playing with the bird time too
2.) No Hunger Decay For Birds by Gummilutt
In the base game, birds have a hunger need that gradually decreases over time and requires regular feeding by Sims.
🧠 The problem in vanilla gameplay is that birds can be a bit… high-maintenance in an unfun way. Hunger drops fairly quickly and Sims don’t always autonomously feed them reliably. This can lead to neglect warnings dead birds if forgotten. It can feel more like micromanagement than meaningful gameplay

👉 Once fed, it basically stays satisfied indefinitely.
3.) Aquariums Create Community Dummies by Richifrog
Creates auto stock “dummy” fish when aquariums are placed on lots instead of having to click “stock” fish. There is a second mod that only spawns free fish on not owned community lots verses owned lots too.
4.) Bottomless Bird And Wormrat (Guinea Pig) Food by Squinge
This mod keeps the birds & wormrat (guinea pig) food full.
5.) Close Bird Cage When Done by Worf84
Fixes a bug that prevents a sim from closing the bird cage, When the sim
is interacting with the bird and the interaction is canceled. With this
mod installed Sims will always close the cage door, When the
interaction is canceled.
