Sim Controller Mods

1.) Walk This Way by Cyjon

Sims will always walk rather than run when given the “Go Here” command.

2.) Free Will Plumbbob by Dizzy2

This mod lets you selectively change individual free will of your sims,
using the plumbbob. Just click on the plumbbob, and select either
“Player Control” or “Free Will” (the option is either one or the other).

Note: The “lite” version is the original (for those who prefer less clutter in the pie menu).

3.) Hidden interactions enabled by Gummilutt

One of the reasons many of us think Sims 2 is such a great game, is the attention to detail in the coding. The personality-based behaviors and little quirks that you might discover after playing the game for many years make this game stand out. There’s always something we haven’t seen yet.

Among these great things, are hidden interactions that Sims may perform autonomously but that the player can’t see or direct them to do. I think that’s a shame, because it means a lot of players might not get to see them and they only show up rarely which means you don’t get to enjoy them as much. While you can unhide them by the use of a cheat, it’s not the safest thing to do and it unhides all hidden menu options, not just the ones you want.

As a safer and more player-friendly alternative, Gummilutt on MTS has created three global mods that unlock some of these great interactions. The interactions included are snooze, window washing, and sliding on banisters. Sliding on banisters is a M&G interaction and requires M&G, the other two are from base-game.

4.) Hidden interactions enabled part 2 by Gummilutt

This is a set of two global mods that unlock hidden interactions that are normally only performed autonomously. They allow you to see the interaction in pie menu (see more exact details under each mod) and direct your Sim to perform them. Tuck in & Stuff Face

5.) Macrotastic by Pescado

Apartment Life ll Free Time ll Bon Voyage ll Seasons ll Pets ll OFB ll Nightlife ll University

An array of choices for ways your Sim can control themselves autonomously without you micromanaging every little aspect of their lives.

6.) Manual Navigation by Pescado

Apartment Life ll Free Time ll Bon Voyage ll Seasons ll Pets ll OFB ll Nightlife ll University ll Base Game

Navigation Orders (Go/Run/Skip Here) will no longer be erased from the queue if you queue another order after it: Sims will now travel to their destinations by the route and means of your choosing if you plot their route for them!

7.) No Route Fail by Pescado

This reduces the abruptness of the stop, while continuing to eliminate the screaming hissy fit in the annoyingly loud, obnoxious, and generally violence-inducing voice. Now you can see that something is clearly blocked if you did it on accident, without having to constantly listen to that screaming if it is, in fact, blocked deliberately and you have no intent of moving it precisely because you DON’T want them to have access.

8.) No What’s This by Pescado

Apartment Life ll Free Time ll Bon Voyage ll Seasons ll Pets ll OFB ll Nightlife ll University ll Base Game

No more “What’s This?” and “Where did it go” actions. If they appear at all,
they will not cause the sim to take any direct action.

9.) Sim Manipulator by Worf84

A multi use mod that is similar to the InSiminator that allows you to control every aspect of your Sims lives.
