Do your sims have absentee dads, or sperm donors, or just parents that they really hate? If so, you’ve probably seen someone completely inappropriate sending your teens off to college during the entering college cinematic.
Unmodded, the game always chooses the sim with the lowest neighbor ID to be in the cinematic. Since townies are spawned into the game before your born-in-game playables and thus have lower neighbor IDs, this means that it always picks the never-moved-in townie father to be in the cinematic, even though he’s probably irrelevant at this point and your teen sim has probably never even met him. If the teen is a child of a pollination technician, no parent may appear even if the other parent is alive and playable.
This hack introduces new requirements for parents for participation in the cinematic:
– The parent must be alive (the original game’s only check)
– The parent is not a vampire
– The parent must be playable (To exclude this requirement, download bettercollegeparentchoice+townies.zip instead. Pollination Technicians and other NPCs in the “Default” family are still disallowed, but regular NPCs like the maid are allowed.)
– The teen’s Lifetime Relationship with the parent must be greater than zero (also accounts for parents who have not been met). Daily relationship is not checked.

This mod enables regular wants to Get a Job in university careers and restricts other full-time career wants by interests. University careers are — Artist, Paranormal, ShowBiz, Natural Scientist.

In the unmodified game, when a student Sim brings pizza from campus, they usually drop it on the ground in front of the house. With this mod, serving pizza is a bit smarter – Sims will actually put the pizza on free surfaces on the lot if available.
5.) Extracted Inteen College Admissions by Midge The Tree
A mod that’ll restrict the college move-in interactions (phone and computer) to teens with less than 7 days until they turn into adults and a grade of at least C. Basically, you can’t send teens to college until they are at least minimally 7 days away from aging up. Your grades also must be a C or higher to qualify The number of days is customizable.

Reset or Fast-forward College Timer back to either 72 hours or 1 hour. Freeze College Clock for all controllable students in family via either pie menu option or “aging off” for as long as a clock remains present on lot. Reroll Lifetime Want if your sim wants something really lame and dumb! Synchronize clock to selected sim so all residents have the same semesters.

Eliminates re-spawning of Secret Society members. Secret Society members should not be spawned to replace ones you happen to kill for whatever reason, except as a very last resort of total desperation (which should be near-impossible, but is there just in case), in which it will create one member. If there are not enough SS members, when the game attempts to generate one, it will, instead of generating a new NPC, induct a YA townie instead, and use him. The game will also not insist on generating more to fill max visitor count when you are abducted (IF you still are abducted: should theoretically work with no-abduct). Therefore, if there is no SS townie, the game will first attempt to create one by promoting an existing YA townie. If it cannot, it will only create one if there is not even a single available member to perform the initiation ceremony. If for some reason your university has a dormie population of zero, don’t kill this last guy.

12.) Teens To Young Adult Without Going To College by Squinge
This mod allows teens to age as young adults without the need for college.
When they grow up it still shows the college stuff but they can get a job but it won’t show that they have a job.

Will prevent teens from getting the fear Be Uneducated, Will also prevent the memory from being created as well. For those that don’t know the fear and memory normally appear when a teen doesn’t go to college.
