This mod ties changing clothes at a dresser to whether your Sim has clean laundry available. This version makes the dresser checks for clean laundry before allowing outfit changes. When your Sim tries to plan an outfit or change into everyday/formal/etc. the game checks do you have clean laundry available?
If yes → change works normally
If no → interaction is blocked or fails

Doesn’t replace laundry systems → just enforces them
Works best if you actually use hampers/washers.

These are modifications of Rebecah’s functional washing machine and dryer. There are 4 versions, All of them are available on residential and community lots.

This set adds laundry to your game. Wash clothes in a washing machine or in sink, dry them in a dryer or on clothesline, drop clothing piles on the floor, store dirty laundry in hampers, build commercial laundromat, and get motive bonuses for doing laundry!

Pc_Sims made one of the early functional laundry objects for The Sims 2. The original object let Sims iron clothing, functioned kind of like a skilling object, increased Body skill, gave a perfume-like hygiene effect, and used flashy soap bubbles/sparkle effects.

What Meduza Changed:
Meduza’s “revamped” version edits both the object meshes/appearance and the gameplay behavior. According to the mod page, Meduza replaced the ironing board mesh, replaced the iron mesh, removed perfume effects, removed bubble effects, changed motive effects, and altered the skill gains. Meduza swapped the original meshes for Dara Sims laundry decor objects, converted to Sims 2 by Marioneve.

Meduza changed ironing into more of a realistic household chore. The revamped version slightly lowers Comfort, slightly lowers Hygiene, removes the perfume buff, removes bubbles, and later changes skill gain to Cleaning instead of Body. In a later update, Meduza “added two decorative slots.” This means the ironing board can hold clutter objects. Examples: folded clothes, detergent, sewing clutter, baskets, décor bottles.
