Even if you’ve bought your pet the highest quality pet bed stuffed full of cushions, when a toddler sleeps there it gives them really crappy energy gain. I timed a toddler with a depleted energy bar and it took them 10 hours to get fully rested. This mod increases the energy gain and reduces the time to between 5 and 6 hours.
5.) Only Bathe Toddlers with Low Hygiene by Charity
Toddlers need to have under 50% hygiene in order to be able to be bathed so your sims won’t have the option on the bath’s pie menu at all until the toddler is dirty enough.

This mod curbs the autonomous behavior of older Sims (children and up) wanting to play Peekaboo with toddlers, but the Sims can still be directed to play Peekaboo with the toddlers.

Have the ability to send your toddlers to daycare. You do have to have to build the community lot first but with this mods you will be able to drop off your toddlers safely without having the fear of them being taken away by the social worker while your Sim goes to work or whatever else they want to do.

Toddlers can no longer die from fire. Although toddler cannot actually burn like older sims, they can die of fire. Babies, are supposed to be immune to fire. With this mod they are. They will happily sit among the flames waiting to be rescued.

13.) Baby toddler food and feeding fixes by Dickhurt
Prevents Sims from magically getting a free bottle to feed babies or toddlers when the refrigerator lacks enough food points. A fridge must now have 3 or more food points (default amount unless you’ve hacked it) in order to produce a baby bottle. Also prevents Sims from getting “Toddler Mush” from fridges lacking 6 or more food points (by default unless amount is hacked). All of this prevents free bottles/mush when the fridge does not have enough food points because that is just cheating through a loophole in the game code.
Also has many cool features which are enabled by default. They allow the following behaviors. A Sim can gasp sit while feeding a bottle to a baby. Sims only do it if their comfort motive is at or below 50%. At above 50% comfort, they will instead feed the baby while standing, but first move away from the fridge after getting the bottle so that they don’t block other Sims from using the fridge. Smart milk will now work for a toddler that drank it while sitting in a high-chair, which was broken by default in the base game of 2004 and in every EP/SP. Bad (red) smart milk will also give its penalties.

15.) Toddler Mods by Kestrellyn
Have you ever wished toddlers would roll wants not just for their biological parents, but also for their grandparents, or older siblings, other family members who live on the lot, or even just that they would roll want that could be satisfied by anyone? It’s silly that the toddler can only be appeased by one single sim, who might very well be busy tending to their own needs or aspiration. Only when both parents are off-lot do toddlers start rolling wants that anyone can satisfy. In the game as-is, if you want a toddler that lives with their parents to maintain good aspiration, you pretty much always wind up with the parents being BFFs with the toddler by the time they age up. What if you wanted a sim who isn’t that close with their parents (like some premade teens aren’t), but is instead much closer to their uncle? You have to basically ignore all of the toddler’s social interaction wants.
With this hack, toddlers never roll these wants targeting particular sims – they always roll generic wants that can be satisfied by anyone. The wants that are modified are be snuggled, be tickled, be played with, and be read to. The evenlesspickytoddlers version includes all of those wants and additionally also the be talked to and sing the nursery rhyme wants, but I’ve included that as a secondary option because in my testing it appeared that including those wants just prevented toddlers from rolling them at all. This hack should not affect children rolling wants to be read to by other sims, or older sims rolling wants to interact with particular toddlers.
16.) Use Toddler Toys From Anywhere by Kestrellyn
EA made it so that toddlers can’t use their toys if they are on a different level of the house than them, probably because toddlers can’t use stairs in the unmodified game. However, there are plenty of hacks to allow some or all toddlers to use stairs now, and this restriction also made it so that toddlers who were outside could not use toys that were inside, or vice versa, even if they could get to them without climbing stairs. For some reason, EA never put this restriction on the potty, however. This hack removes the restriction, allowing you to direct the toddler to use a toy regardless of where they happen to be. No promises about what happens if the toddler can’t climb necessary stairs.

This global mod allows sims to access any high chair from left and right sides and also access diagonally placed highchairs. Custom chairs work as well. Now toddlers can sit at the table with their family.

19.) Lower Priority Activity Table by Midge The Tree
This mod lowers the priority of activity table interactions so toddlers will always stop if something else is queued and added a check in the ‘snuggle’ interaction so the adult will at least go to the toddler and try to wait instead of giving up and letting it drop from queue immediately.

A non-autonomous Baby New Year’s smustle now as an option for normal toddlers. Toddlers must have learned how to walk first for this to appear.
21.) Dress toddlers correctly too! by MogHughson
In the game, you change a toddler’s diaper or bathe a toddler, they will be redressed in whatever they were previously wearing prior to that action. This mod will alter that clothing change to be time based. If it is after 7am the toddler will be dressed in everyday clothes. If it is before 7am or after 8pm the toddler will be dressed in PJs. Although the idea was spawned from the “Dress me correctly” Mod, this package is completely separate and independent from that Mod. You do not require one to use the other, but equally you can have both without problems. This allows you to mix and match this Mod with your favourite adult dressing mods.

So this is a mod to the Maxis potties so that when they need to be emptied, the Sim looks for a bin instead of a toilet. A bin is a rather more appropriate item to have in a nursery than an adult toilet! For all the custom content potty chairs out there, it will not affect them since the code is not global for these objects (Why Maxis, why?). This is a patch for the crib. Daytime naps are not affected, but once a toddler is asleep in his crib after 8pm, he should stay asleep until 6am unless he is extremely hungry.
