Want multiple Sims to share a room? Or only allow certain Sims to enter your room at any time? Now you can. A single sim can have multiple keys to various rooms to either live in or visit.
3.) Myne door allows multiple sims by Cathair2005
It has an add key option and remove key option. It allows you to get the key to a dorm that is already claimed. Therefore, two people own it at once and if one gives up the key or unclaims it, the other still has ownership. So when you lock the door, anybody who owns it (has the key) can walk through it.
4.) Apartments In Uni by Chris Hatch
Be able to live off campus but not in your own home in a University neighborhood. Mod will spawn only other YoungAdult’s into the complex. Neighbors will attend class as they would if you lived in a dorm. If/when you move a playable sim into an apartment previously rented by an NPC then that NPC has the Apartment Neighbor token removed so she/he is free to move into a dorm or another vacant apartment later. Rent is approximately 25% of what the rent would be in any non-university neighborhood. This doesn’t enable Apartment Buildings to show in the Lot Bin at University Neighborhoods however, you’ll need either to create a new apartment or ‘plop down’ an apartment building in another sub-hood and use the changelotzoning cheat to turn the lot into a community or residential lot then move it back into the Lot Bin. Plop that down in your University, enter it and use “changelotzoning apartmentbase” to turn it back into an Apartment.
5.) Communal Shower by Cyjon
Allows teens to use communal showers from University without shooing. It can be used with Bathroom Uses You but Pescado has his own age check in there so won’t allow communal showering for teens. It can be fixed with instructions in the link.
Suppresses the message that there isn’t enough room in the dorm.
7.) Dorm Homework Guardian by Dizzy2
This mod prevents unwanted visitors from using your sim’s dorm room to do their homework, provided that your sim has their own privacy door.
8.) Elevator Dormie Fix by Dizzy2
This seems to fix the problem of unplayable dormies forgetting they are dormies if you install an elevator.
9.) Pets at University by Lamare
This is a set of overrides with a simple goal – to liberate young adults and college neighborhoods from restrictions on pets.
This mod allows young adults and university residents to:
– Adopt cats and dogs from pet shelter
– Give them up for adoption
– Sell and give pets to playable young adults
– Buy pets in shops from pet displays
– Hire obedience trainer
– Have wants and fears about pets
Students living in main ‘hood and non-students living on campus will be able to do all these things as well. At the moment, teens can’t take their pets with them by taxi when they’re moving to college but the creator plans on updating this.
10.) Young adults can enjoy maternity (and all that) by Lamare
This is a set of global mods that make having kids possible and comfortable for young adults and sims living on campus. Pick and choose the files you want by reading their descriptions in the link above. Run Hack Conflict Detection Utility to make sure these hacks don’t clash with anything you have in your Downloads folder. Get some clothing fixes and you’re set!

Dormies no longer spawn when vacancies exist in dorms. Existing dormies are unaffected and continue to function normally. Special-university townies like the Secret Society members should be unaffected – only the random dormie population is affected

Fixes a divide-by-zero that occurs if there are no dorm doors on a dorm lot. If you don’t receive any bills, then this fix won’t manifest itself: It’ll only affect the specific case where a dorm that receives bills happens to have no dorm doors. Which apparently is rare and intermittent even under NL.
Dorm bills are meant to be the the entire cost for the dorm (i.e. the bill if it was a normal house) divided by the number of Myne doors on the lot. If there are no dorm doors, then without this hack, the game would get a divide by zero error. This hack fixes that. I’m not sure if it fixes anything else.
14.) Student Only by Sim Logical
Intended for use in dormitory houses, to stop your invited guests from the home neighborhood escaping into the inaccessible dorms of game-generated students. Use one of these doors to close off the corridor to the bedrooms. When locked, allows only Young Adults and NPCs to pass in one direction while allowing anyone back out in the other direction so that they can’t get trapped. Unlock if and when you do wish free access to the bedrooms. Place with green arrow pointing into designated students-only area.
