Everything Sims 2

Hello everyone!

First off, happy holidays for whatever you believe in or celebrating the next couple of months.

For me it was my birthday (the 27th) and today is American Thanksgiving. We are doing steaks today and hosting a Friendsgiving this Sunday where we will be eating our turkey Bruce. (We name our turkeys. Last year was Craig and Craig was delicious. You can see pictures & video on my Instagram account pdxfunnygirl) Bruce is a 22.5lb big boy who works out but skips leg day. But happy holidays to one and all!

It’s been a very busy month for me but I digress, that always feels like the case. I changed job titles at my work yet again (three this year from an assistant, to a cashier, to a cake decorator) and I’ve been nonstop packing pies and making cakes for the holiday season. IE: My best day was 43 cakes in a single day sold all but nine the very next day on top of the additional thirty something (I lost count) cakes I made that second day. So yeah. Progress on this site has been a little janky but here’s what I have been able to publish.

I want to say that I got through most of Pecado’s mods from MATU but there are still several gaps, either on Pescado’s page itself and the MATU forum boards. I am trying to be as through as possible but I hate knowing that I missed things. I’m struggling to fully understand several of his mods and what they do or even where to categorize them. I am not a programmer or have the faintest idea of what I’m doing and I don’t want to put false information out there for others will read. I’m doing my best to read what his mods do and break it down in layman’s terms but I am struggling. I have reached out a couple of times on Discord for advice but I also struggle with bothering people too much that I annoy them and feeling like a general idiot. This is a me issue when I realize many simmers are very kind, welcoming, understanding and also like this project.

So for the moment, MATU and Pescado mods are put on hold and I will periodically try to go back and forth so I can still make more progress on this website. For complete transparency, I would love to talk to Pescado or anyone from MATU but my high functioning anxiety will absolutely not allow me to reach out. It’s a terrifyingly paralyzing thought and I barely reach out to the creators I have contacted.

Right now I’m still going through list on my old website that I had up with MTS. I hope to have Mootlida done today. For December I hope to keep powering through MTS modders and work through Inge’s Sim Logical. I did notice Inge on MATU and explore their posts for information. I do promise we will get to Tumblr and Simbiology at some point next year.

Oh we also have 302 pages on this website! An understatement for what it will be, thousands probably, but thankfully WordPress does not have a page limit! (Unlike Discord which has a 500 max channel limit which is why I had to split the servers into five and even then that isn’t enough. At some point I do plan on dismantling some of the servers-ish and making a hybrid between this website and the servers.)
