Other Facts/Information About Cyjon: Not much is listed about him as a person. Maybe he likes Pina Colada’s and getting caught in the rain. Who knows. Maybe they aren’t a him or identify as non binary. If he reads this or anyone would like to volunteer any non doxing information please feel free to use the contact page and this page will be updated.
Cyjon’s Mods
1.) 8-Day Teens – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Aging Mods in the Time Mod Subcategory
// Teen Mods in the Family Mod Subcategory
Changes the number of days when a child ages up into a teenager to be eight instead of fourteen. Sims who are already teens are not affected by this mod and will be either the default fourteen days or whatever current age mod you already have installed in your game.
2.) All Day Gelatin – Found in the Food Mods Category
Gelatin is available at all times of day.
3.) All Walkbys – Found in the Friendship Mods Subcategory
Makes it more likely that a walkby will be a sim you already know instead of a stranger
4.) Always Use Bookshelf – Found in the Bookshelf Mods Subcategory
Sims will always put books away on bookshelves rather than putting them on tables.
5.) Apartment Butlers – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Apartment Mods Subcategory
// Butler Mods Subcategory
Butlers and nannies can now enter the apartments of the people who hired them.
6.) Apartment Undies – Found in the Apartment Mods Subcategory
Apartment dwellers can now wander the common areas in their underwear.
7.) Apocalypse Fridge – Found in the Fridge Mods Subcategory
A special refrigerator created for the Apocalypse Challenge. Rather than observing the “one meal per day” rule, Sims can prepare as many meals as they like but the fridge holds only 1/10 the amount of food (20 units) as a normal fridge. This allows preparation of a plate of hot dogs or 5 individual sandwiches.
8.) Apology Fury Fix – Found in the Negative Social Interactions Subcategory
Apology will reduce furiousness, as it was originally supposed to.
9.) Argue Social Fix – Found in the Negative Social Interactions Subcategory
Fixes reversed social values so mean sims enjoy arguments more than nice sims. Arguing always provides Social boost for instigating sim.
10.) Aspiration By Use – Found in the Aspiration Mods Category
Aspiration objects are free to buy and instead drain aspiration when a sim actually uses them.
11.) Auto Serve Espresso – Found in the Coffee Mods Subcategory
Autonomous use of the espresso machine will “serve” instead of “make”.
12.) Bad Floor Sleeping – Found in the Sleep Mod Subcategory
Sims who voluntarily sleep on the floor will have the same motive changes as sims who pass out. This means no comfort increase, slower energy increase and earlier waking.
13.) Basic Sell Only – Found in the Badge- Sales Mods Subcategory
Prevents your employees from using any sales interaction other than Basic Sell.
14.) Basketball Quit Fix – Found in the Sports/Activity Mods Subcategory
If you cancel the “play basketball” action before they reach the court, sims won’t insist on walking all the way over there before quitting.
15.) Bathroom Uses You After Woohoo – Found in the Adult +18 Mods Category
If you have both bathroomusesyou and macrotastics from MATY, sims who fall asleep after woohoo will get the Use Bathroom command pushed on them. Because in Soviet Russia, bathroom uses you even after woohoo!
16.) Beauty Wish Sanity – Found in the Genie Mods Subcategory
Adds sanity checks to the sims who visit after a wish for beauty. No more vacation locals traveling thousands of miles just to hang out by your mailbox and peek through your windows.
Sim selection will be random rather than using EA’s half-assed method of simply marching down the character list. Visitors will be chosen only from townies, downtownies, social sims and playables.
17.) Better Butler Meals – Found in the Butler Mods Subcategory
Butlers will stop slacking off by cooking crap like ramen and TV dinners. Butlers will cook meals which requires Cooking skill of 3 or more, and will choose only true group meals rather than magically getting multiple servings out of single-serve meals. Butlers will not use mini-fridges to cook, but if you can afford a butler you can certainly afford a full-sized fridge.
18.) Better Lightning Rods – Found in the Weather Mods Category
Improves the effectiveness of lightning rods and allows other items to act as lightning rods. In the core game, there is a 50% of a lightning strike hitting a lightning rod. That chance is increased by 4% per additional rod up to 70% maximum. In this version, the first rod gives 50%, the second +25%, the third +12% and so on with each one adding half the bonus of the one before. Maximum protection is 99% with 7 rods. This mod allows other objects to act as lightning rods, specifically Fun For The Roof I, Dragon On The Roof, Aspiring Spire and Ornery Rooster. They are all just as effective as the actual lightning rod object.
19.) Better Love Tub – Found in the Aspiration Mods Category
Makes the love tub aspiration object act as a love potion. The existing love tub is pretty useless. It doesn’t do much to increase access to romantic actions. This mod gives both sims the chemistry boost of a love potion, and eliminates the need for crush or love. You won’t see the chemistry boost reflected in the number of bolts, but all actions in the love tub are much easier with this mod.
20.) Better Plantsim Drinks – Found in the Plant Sim Mods Subcategory
Plantsims get more water when getting a drink from the tap.
21.) Better Roach Stomp – Found in the Roach Mods Subcategory
Stomping roaches now has a 50-100% chance of killing them, based on the sim’s Body.
22.) Better Stereo Workout – Found in the Stereo Mods Subcategory
Makes working out in front a stereo just as effective as working out in front of a TV. Affects Maxis stereos in all EPs and SPs. Won’t affect custom stereos.
23.) Bigger Bills – Found in the Finances & Money Mods Category
Bills come more often and are much larger. Also recommended Cyjon’s Loan Jar. The Loan Jar allows you to adjust billing level from 0 (roughly Maxis level bills, but coming 6 days a week) to 6 (crazy expensive). The default level is 4 if you either don’t use Loan Jar or if you don’t adjust the initial settings. Billing changes affect the entire neighborhood (including subhoods) but not other neighborhoods. See more details for this mod in link.
24.) Bigger Families – Found in the Family Mods Category
Allows an unlimited number of sims on the lot. The one thing this mod doesn’t let you do is add sims from the neighborhood to houses which already have 8+ sims in the house.
25.) Biotech Fix – Found in the Health, Illness & Sickness Mods Category
Makes the biotech station train logic continuously rather than producing medicine that is bugged so doesn’t cure sickness anyhow. Sims can use it for hours just like other training objects. It will produce a vial of medicine at the end, but it will be junk medicine that can only be disposed of. Never produces medicine that will make sims sick.
26.) Bisexual Influence Fix – Found in the Misc Mods Category
Stops influence system from forcing bisexual sims to choose a gender preference. When you use influence on a bisexual sim in an unmodified game, you can direct romance at sims of only one gender. The game looks at the bisexual sim’s gender preferences and picks the higher, populating the influence list with only men or women
27.) Blue Fangs Fix – Version 3 – Found in the Vampire Mods Subcategory
Fixes the flashing blue fangs that adult and YA male vampires get. here are three mods attached, each using a different approach to the problem. Install only one of these.
28.) Breadfruit Tree Fix – Found in the Nature Mods Category
The Breadfruit tree is a tree in the build/gardening mode area introduced in Bon Voyage. It has an error in the animation files that prevents the fire effect from disappearing even if the fire is put out so they appear to burn forever after being struck by lightning. Cyjon was unable to fix the animation error so instead just prevents the tree from ever being able to be struck by lightening in general.
29.) Brothel Woohoo – Found in the Adult +18 Mods Category
Sims can now open a brothel and make money at the world’s oldest profession. Initiate Brothel Woohoo in one of the following ways:
1.) Like regular woohoo: relax in bed, ask a valid partner to join (see below), click on other person and select Brothel Woohoo.
2.) The new way: relax in bed, click on yourself, a menu appears showing all valid partners and fees, click on a name, wait for the person to come over. Brothel Woohoo will be initiated automatically
Brothel Woohoo is different from normal woohoo and will be available if all of the following are true:
– Lot has an open business (community or home business)
– One sim is a customer and the other is the business owner, a member of the owner’s family or an employee
– The sims both have an appropriate gender preference, aren’t blood relatives and have at least one bolt of chemistry.
30.) Bug Collection Fix – Found in the Nature Mods Category
Fixes the EA bug that prevents sims from finishing the bug collection. Note that this bug was fixed in the FreeTime patch, but broken again in Apartment Life. You need this patch only if you have Apartment Life or Mansions & Gardens (which is based on the Apartment Life code). You do not need this fix if you are using No Bug Hunting Bees as that mod includes these changes.
31.) Butler Asks To Fire – Found in the Butler Mods Subcategory
Butler will always ask before firing other staff. The way the game works by default, when you hire a butler he will ask if he can fire the maid, gardener, etc. Once you say yes, you can’t change your mind later. He will keep firing new staff. Under this mod, he will ask again if you hire new employees. Once you tell him not to fire the help, he will never ask again.
32.) Butler Fix – Found in the Butler Mods Subcategory
Fixes the “butler won’t cook” bug. Also tweaks the butler’s logic as to what “food” means, so he won’t cook so obsessively. Note that this fixes the bug where butlers wont cook at all. If you simply want them to stop cooking garbage then you need Better Butler Meals.
33.) Buyable Electronics – Found in the Electronics Category
Allows the cell phone, handheld game, and MP3 player to be purchased in Buy Mode (Electronics/Misc). They can be placed in stores, 6 per shelf.
34.) Call NPCs – Found in the NPC Mods Category
Reverts a “fix” made in FreeTime that prevents sims from calling almost all NPCs.
35.) Call To Meal Fix – Found in the Mealtime Mods Subcategory
Call to Meal no longer calls servos, plantsims, babies, toddlers or on-the-job NPCs. People will respond to plates anywhere on the property, not just in the same room as the platter.
36.) Cancel Diary – Found in the Writing Mods Category
If user cancels “Write In Diary” when the sim is walking, the sim will abort immediately rather than defiantly scribbling a few lines first.
37.) Cancel Paper – Found in the Newspaper Subcategory
After canceling actions with the newspaper, sims will put the paper down immediately rather than reading it briefly.
38.) Carpool Warning Fix – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Car Mods Subcategory
// Health, Illness & Sickness Mods Category
// Job Related Mods Subcategory
Sims who are sick or in first stage of pregnancy will now get carpool warnings.
39.) Chat FIFO – Found in the Computer Mods Subcategory
Sims on the chat list will tend towards a FIFO (First In, First Out) protocol. In other words, sims who have been in the chat room for a long time will be more likely to leave than new log ins.
40.) Chat Invite Icon Fix – Found in the Computer Mods Subcategory
When you invite someone over when chatting on the computer, the accept dialog will no longer show the icon of some random object.
41.) Cheaper Restaurant Guides – Found in the Writing Mods Category
Significantly reduces payout for restaurant guides. The payout is a base of 40-240 simoleons plus 40 * Cuisine enthusiasm plus 20 * Cooking skill. If the total is >400 it is considered a good guide and >700 a great guide.
42.) Child Computer Chat – Found in the Computer Mods Subcategory
Computer chat menu shows both the child list and the teen+ list.
43.) Children Say Goodbye – Found in the Children Mods Subcategory
Allows children to say goodbye to guests.
44.) Clean Neighborhoods – Found in the Cleaner Gameplay Mods Subcategory
These are copies of Riverblossom Hills (from Seasons) and Desiderata Valley (from FreeTime) that have been cleaned of excess characters. They include only the playable sims with no townies or NPCs. Installation instructions are included in each zip.
45.) Coffins for Vampires – Found in the Vampire Mods Subcategory
Non-vampire sims will not autonomously sleep in coffins. They can still be directed to do so. Pescado’s sleepclock will still send sims to coffins.
46.) Command Queue Tweaks – Found in the Art/Painting Mods Subcategory
Adjusts the command queue locations of re-issued commands like “Scrap Painting”. “Scrap Painting” is handled by the easel. If you issue it by clicking on the painting, then the painting hands off the command to the easel. However the new command is placed at the end of the queue, which is annoying if you have stacked other commands. This mod will cause the re-issued command to be placed at the front of the list so it will be processed immediately. As far as I know, this is the only command this mod currently has.
47.) Commercial Buffets – Found in the Buffet Mods Subcategory
Buffets work as in the unmodified game. It costs money to open the buffet, but after that plates of food are taken for free. The buffet can be opened for free, but each plate of food taken costs money: $30 for turkey, $15 for gelatin or salad. This mod affects both the buffet in the base game, and the one which came with the Celebrations! stuff pack. Custom buffets will not be affected.
48.) Communal Shower – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Bathroom Mods Subcategory
// Housing University Subcategory
Allows teens to use communal showers from University without shooing. It can be used with Bathroom Uses You but Pescado has his own age check in there so won’t allow communal showering for teens. It can be fixed with instructions in the link.
49.) Customer Cleanup – Found in the Open For Business Category
Automatically removes owner’s family members from customer list.
50.) Customers Leave After Paying – Found in the Open For Business Category
Customers in player-owned stores will always leave after buying something.
51.) Cyjon’s Badge Scholarships – Found in the Scholarships University Subcategory
Gain scholarships for earning badges. Also a witchcraft scholarship. Any witch with the skill to cast Apello Cattus Amicus is eligible for this $1250 scholarship.
52.) Cyjon’s Bigfoot Skill Tuning – Found in the Big Foot Mods Subcategory
Original mod here called No more Perfect Bigfoot by DJS Sims. All Cyjon did was update this through Bon Voyage through Apartment Life versions of TS2. In a vanilla game, Bigfoot is given a level 10 Skill in all skills & every gold talent badge. This mod changes that to only having a level 10 Body/Fitness skill & having a gold badge in fishing & gardening.
53.) Cyjon’s Debugger – Found in the Cleaner Gameplay Mods Subcategory
A general purpose object, meant to compliment items like Pescado’s batbox. Can be found in Buy Mode under Miscellaneous/Miscellaneous as the pizza box.
54.) Cyjon’s Ghost Hack – Found in the Ghost Mods Subcategory
This mod is a direct evolution of Ghost Hack by twojeffs which allows you to selectively stop ghosts from scaring sims or only scare knowledge sims among other things to make ghost less annoying. This mod also add features like
– Servos running amok who are “scared to death” rather than dying.
– Nice Sims who died will be less angry while grouchy ghosts will be more angry.
– Fixes several bugs that prevents ghosts from haunting tombstones/destroying them/shredding character data & corrupting your neighborhood. Contains smaller fixes that allows angry ghosts to visit the cowplant, and reversed coding that now allows Nice & Neat ghosts to create less messes.
– Creates cleaner ghosts by happier ghosts are more likely to clean.
– Plantsims & Servos are no longer immune to death by fright, Sims are less likely to die from fright.
– Less Flooding, limits the number of puddles drowning ghosts can create.
– Ghosts can successfully scare sleeping Sims
– Ghosts will not wake Sims by merely being in the same room but they can wake Sims when complaining about a missing object.
– Scaring frequency & intensity based on a number of factors including personality & relationship with the target & type of death. Scares drain all motives, including Platsims Sunshine & Servo Power. Scares are random instead of picking a single person.
– More Ghosts on Community Lots. Bans ghosts younger than teen because the animations for children/toddler are broken or missing. Drowning Ghosts are a little easier to see.
55.) Cyjon’s Permafridge – Found in the Fridge Mods Subcategory
It automatically fills all fridges at midnight & charges money for the food at the standard rate.
56.) Cyjon’s noeatcrap – Found in the Food Interaction Mods Subcategory
This mod was originally created a modder named Pescado called No Eat Crap but it conflicts with Cyjon’s No Spoiled Food mod. This mod does that with a couple of tweaks/updates.
– The Active threshold has been lowered from 6 to 5, so sims of Active 5 or more will stop eating when full.
– Pregnant sims will keep eating regardless of Active level.
-EP checks which were never updated with the changes introduced by IKEA and Apartment Life
57.) DJ Booth Fixes – Found in the Stereo Mods Subcategory
Fixes several bugs with DJ booths.
– Booths on business lots won’t be left in use by departing employees. It won’t fix custom DJ booths.
-FreeTime DJ Booth will satisfy DJ Wants. Not for custom DJ booths
– Sims will dance in front rather than behind the FreeTime DJBoth
58.) Dance Advertising Tweaks – Found in the Music & Dance Mods Subcategory
Balances how attractive different dances are to sims. No more constant slap dancing. This mod balances the dances to make them equally attractive to a typical sim. Sims will prefer certain dances based on personality and skill, but not as strongly as the horribly unbalanced slap dance advertising:
– Outgoing: Dance Together
– Playful: Smustle
– Charisma: Dance Solo
– Creativity: Hula
– Body: Slap Dance
Also fixes the bug in smustle that prevented it from advertising more strongly to people with high Music & Dance enthusiasm like the other dances do.
59.) Dance Near Stereo – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Music & Dance Mods Subcategory
// Stereo Mods Subcategory
Sims will now move near a stereo before doing the smustle, hula or slap dance rather than dancing to the music in their heads.
60.) Date Bandatron Fix – Found in the Dating Mods Subcategory
Non-playable dates will no longer go to the the bandatron. When the playable sim pays the date is paid for as well.
61.) Date Gift Fixes – Found in the Dating Mods Subcategory
Fixes a host of problems with sims leaving gifts for dates. Updated for Apartment Life.
– Dates no longer tiptoe.
– Objects are left at the mailbox
– If the date can’t find a place for the object, the object is removed rather than floating in limbo
– Dates who hit any kind of problem leave than ringing the doorbell.
62.) Date Go Home – Found in the Dating Mods Subcategory
If you end a date on a residential lot and that date is with a townie or a sim from another lot (in other words, a non-selectable sim) then the sim will automatically go home
63.) Deadly Satellites – Found in the Life & Death Mods Subcategory
Increases the chance of satellite death. Under normal circumstances the game checks for death by satellite only once when a sim watches clouds or stargazes. If the sim survives this first check, there is no further danger. This mod checks for satellite death every batch of 5-24 animation cycles, or roughly once every 30 game minutes. It uses the same 1% chance so that means it takes an average of 50 hours of cloud watching to get nailed by a satellite, but at least it’s possible to force a satellite death should you wish to for story or general sadism purposes.
64.) Desk Fix – Found in the Homework Mods Subcategory
Children can place items like homework on desks more successfully. Does not fix the Country Desk from Seasons since it uses its own weird slots to keep people from reaching through the solid hutch on the back. Should work on all others desks including custom desks. People still occasionally have trouble if the only access to the desk is on the diagonal but the behavior is inconsistent.
65.) Digging Is Gardening – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Gardening Subcategory
// Gardener Mods Subcategory
Holes in the yard will be filled by gardeners rather than maids.
66.) Dirty Hot Tubs – Found in the Hygiene & Water Mods Category
Hot tubs don’t increase hygiene except for plantsims.
67.) Donate Lot – Found in the Open For Business Category
Adds a command to community lot deeds which allows the owners to donate the lot to the town. The owner gets no money for the action. Useful way to get rid of excess money from your wealthy and philanthropic families.
68.) Downtownie Walkbys – Found in the NPC Mods Category
Allows downtownies to walk by lots in the main neighborhood. People from the main neighborhood can walk by downtown lots so it makes no sense that downtownies don’t have the same freedom.
69.) Dumb In Use Test – Found in the Game Fix Mods Category
Sims will be stupider about deciding if an object is in use…which is a good thing.
Many actions use a “smart” in use test where a sim can tell an object is in use only if it’s in view. While this is realistic, it leads to silly situations. A sim is able to tell a shower is dirty from ten miles away, but as he climbs the stairs he doesn’t hear the water running, doesn’t care about the closed bathroom door, doesn’t see the steam coming out from underneath, and then is shocked to find his wife taking a shower. He exits, stands in the hall for a second, and then tries to clean the dirty shower again. And again. And again.
With this mod, sims always know if an object is in use and will waste less time trekking across the lot for futile actions. This has no effect on player-directed actions.
70.) Easier Local Greetings – Found in the Vacation Mods Category
Uses the Apartment Life reputation system to make Bon Voyage local greetings easier to learn. When a sim is socializing with a vacation local there is a chance the local will make the local gesture at the playable sim. It is not guaranteed and on average you’ll have to chat up 3-4 locals to get the greeting, but it’s a LOT more reliable than standing around hoping some local greets you.
71.) Easy Hydroponics – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Aspiration Mods Category
// Gardening Subcategory
Plants in the hydroponic garden (Slacker career reward) will no longer die from neglect.
72.) Education Bookcase Fix – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Aspiration Mods Category
// Skill Mods Category
Sims studying skills from the Education bookcase will stick with the activity longer. The Education bookcase allows studying additional skills (Creativity, etc.) which aren’t available to normal bookcases. EA forgot to update the Education bookcase to consider those skills as skills, so the game will consider these studies to be fun activities which makes it hard to keep sims from quitting if motives get a little low
73.) Edukashun Iz Gud – Found in the Education Mods Category
Sims can get into any career track regardless of degree, but promotions will be limited based on education. There are no college limits on entry into the University careers such as Artist, but the maximum job level is based on the sim’s education level.
– If the Sim graduated college, maximum level is 10
– If the Sim completed two years of Uni but dropped out, max level is 7
– If the Sim didn’t go to college or dropped out before completing sophomore year, max level job is based on the final high school grade:
1.) High school grade C or better: max level is 5
2.) -D or -C Max level is 3
3.) If they flunked out max job level is 1
74.) Electrocution Fix – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Life & Death Mods Subcategory
// Plant Sim Mods Subcategory
// Servo Mods Subcategory
Fixes motive check errors in determining death by electrocution, and correctly accounts for servo and plantsim motives. The bugged game code checked Comfort and Energy multiple times rather than also checking the other four motives drained (Hygiene, Bladder, Comfort and Fun). The sim will die if any two of these motives drop below -90. For servos & plant sims, under this fix electrocution will drain Social for these two types of sims (but not other sims), and will drain Sunshine for plantsims. These sims will die if any one of their three motives drop below -90. Note that using this mod makes the world a bit more dangerous for servos and plantsims since they had previously been immune to electrocution death due to a lack of Comfort or Energy motives (the servo Power motive is not the same as Energy).
75.) Exercise Tweaks – Found in the Fitness & Workout Mods Subcategory
Tweaks on motive drops for exercise equipment, balancing them and getting rid of the absurd energy drops on FreeTime items.
76.) Fake Townie Sales – Found in the Badge- Sales Mods Subcategory
Prevents townie inventories from getting cluttered with junk from your stores. When a store sells an object to a non-playable character (townies, downtownies, etc.) the object will disappear rather than being put in the townie inventory. Playable characters will receive the objects in their inventories as normal.
77.) Faster Disease Processing – Found in the Health, Illness & Sickness Mods Category
Disease recovery will no longer slow to a crawl if multiple sims are sick. Every once in a while the disease controller looks at a sim to see if a disease should get better or worse. This check is done every 60 minutes + 0-60 minutes per sick sim in the house. Then every six cycles it applies the cumulative changes to the disease severity. The problem is that these cycles get longer very quickly when you have multiple sick sims in the house, eventually reaching a critical point where sims simply can’t recover as fast as they get reinfected by other sims. This mod shortens the processing time so it is nearly unaffected by the number of sick sims on the lot. Each cycle will be 60 minutes plus 1-5 minutes per sick sim, so will be slightly longer than an hour regardless of the number of sick sims.
78.) Faster Pass Along – Found in the Open For Business Category
Business perks are passed on much more quickly, taking exactly 2.5 hours per perk.
79.) Faster Reagents – Found in the Witch Mods Subcategory
Witches make reagents in half the time.
80.) Faster Restocking Badge – Found in the Open For Business Category
Restocking badge is earned twice as fast
81.) Faster Set Price – Found in the Open For Business Category
Eliminates the absurdly long animation associated with Set Price For Everything on cash registers.
82.) Faster Zits – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Hygiene & Water Mods Category
// Sloppy Personality Mods Subcategory
// Teen Mods in the Family Subcategory
Teens develop acne in half the time. This scales the pimple timeline to fit the shorter lifespan of 8 Day Teens
83.) Female Maids – Found in the Maid Mods Subcategory
Will auto generate all new created mods to be female. Doesn’t fix existing male maids.
84.) Fertile Fertility – Found in the Pregnancy & Fertility Mods Subcategory
During “Try For Baby”, the pregnancy chance is rolled again for each parent who has the Super Fertility aspiration reward. This means there are as many as three chances of pregnancy for each attempt. The net chances of pregnancy (no fertile parents / 1 fertile parent / 2 fertile parents) are as follows:
Bed – 60% / 84% / 94%
Hot Tub – 25% / 44% / 59%
Other – 50% / 75% / 88
“Other” means cars, helicopters, photo booths and clothing booths. Sims still have the increased chance of twins as well.
85.) Fewer Chance Cards – Found in the Chance Card Mods Subcategory
Prevents sims from getting chance cards any time they have at least a 75% chance of promotion. They must not only have good job performance but must also be eligible for promotion.
86.) Fewer Dirty Jokes – Found in the Humor Mods Subcategory
Only playful or outgoing sims will autonomously tell dirty jokes. Player can still direct sims to tell dirty jokes if the other social tests succeed (such as relationship score).
87.) Fewer Drunks – Found in the Bar Mods Subcategory
Sims will no longer be so obsessed with bars. Saner motive checks mean sims won’t find bars so attractive and are more likely to use food and entertainment to satisfy Hunger and Fun. Removed the weird motive limits on drinking that prevented liquor (oops I mean “juice”) from ever satisfying a sim’s craving. Drinking straight from the bottle is limited to sims in red aspiration.
88.) Fewer Enemy Visits – Found in the Negative Social Interactions Subcategory
Reduces the frequency of visits by furious sims. In an unmodified game, if anyone in the neighborhood is furious with anyone on a residential lot, then there is a 10% chance each hour (pre-FreeTime) or each half-hour (FreeTime or later) that the furious sim will visit to steal the paper, kick over the trashcan or otherwise create mischief. This is separate from normal walkby generation. This mod reduces those odds, depending on which one you install.
89.) Fewer Failed Socials – Found in the Negative Social Interactions Subcategory
Fewer failures for autonomous social actions
90.) Fewer Fires – Found in the Emergency Mods Subcategory
Creates a flat 1% chance of a fire when cooking, regardless of the difficulty of the food. Has the side effect that burning food (without starting a fire) is slightly more common.
91.) Fewer Leaves – Found in the Nature Mods Category
Trees drop leaves only the first two days of fall.
92.) Fewer Lightning Fires – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Emergency Mods Subcategory
// Nature Mods Category
When struck by lightning, tree fire chance reduced from 30% to 5% and other object fires reduced from 15% to 5%.
93.) Fewer Peekaboo Pests – Found in the Toddler Mods Subcategory
Sims are less likely to constantly harass toddlers with peekaboo requests. Sims won’t autonomously try for peekaboo if the toddler is already doing something.
94.) Fewer Plantsims – Found in the Plant Sim Mods Subcategory
Sims heal half their insecticide damage each day, reducing the chance of turning into a plantsim. This allows sims to maintain a small garden without danger. Sims who change into a plantsim have all damage healed. This means cured sims won’t instantly change back to plantsim the first time they spray for bugs.
95.) Fewer Soccer Pests – Found in the Sports/Activity Mods Subcategory
Sims no longer autonomously try to pull other sims into soccer games if the target sim has a command queued.
96.) Fewer Tourists – Found in the Vacation Mods Category
Allows fewer or smaller tourist families. The game is hard-coded to expect 12 tourist families of 4+ members each. If it doesn’t find that, it gets annoyed and pouts by not generating tourists at all. This mod fixes that so you can have smaller tourist groups and fewer tourist families, useful if you hand craft your tourist families. Each family still needs at least one adult or elder.
97.) Fewer Wolves – Found in the Wild Animals Subcategory
Prevents wolves other than Leader of the Pack from visting your property. These other wolves appear to do nothing other than scratch at the door. LotP is not affected.
98.) Fireproof Toddlers – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Emergency Mods Subcategory
// Toddler Mods Subcategory
Toddlers can no longer die from fire. Although toddler cannot actually burn like older sims, they can die of fire. Babies, are supposed to be immune to fire. With this mod they are. They will happily sit among the flames waiting to be rescued.
99.) Fitness Delta Fix – Found in the Fitness & Workout Mods Subcategory
Fixes a bug which could allow a sim’s fitness to increase without limit or to stop at an arbitrary level. Exercise activities are supposed to tell the fitness change BHAV when to stop increasing fitness, but almost all of them pass junk data instead. This routine simply ignores the parameter and automatically sets the limit for all activities to 1000, the maximum fitness possible.
100.) Floor Sleep Fix – Found in the Sleep Mod Subcategory
Fixes a bug which causes sims passed out on the floor to sometimes stop gaining energy. If you save a lot with sims passed out on the floor, when you reload the lot the game doesn’t bother restoring the energy increase. This means those sims will sleep until motive failure wakes them. This mod restores the correct energy increase for floor sleeping. This fix is especially important for those of you running an Asylum Challenge since without it your uncontrollable sims have a much higher chance of waking near starvation. The mod affects only sims who pass out from energy failure, not those who use the “Sleep On Floor” interaction available in frats.
101.) Flush Puke – Found in the Bathroom Mods Subcategory
Sims who throw up for any reason will flush the toilet after.
102.) Food Nap Fix – Found in the Sleep Mod Subcategory
Fixes a bug which causes sims who fall asleep in their food to sleep until motive failure. EA never bothered adding an energy check to allow food nappers to wake up. This mod wakes the sim at the same energy level as passing out on the floor.
103.) Fragile BFF – Found in the Negative Social Interactions Subcategory
Sims who become enemies lose BFF status. This will clear BFF when sims become enemies. It won’t help sims who are already both enemies and BFFs. It looks like this was EA’s intention but their coding is strange and doesn’t appear to actually do anything to clear the BFF flag.
104.) Fragile Permaplat – Found in the Aspiration Mods Category
Every hour, during aspiration decay, this mod examines playable sims on the lot. If a permaplat sim is brought below platinum status by having major Fears realized, this mod will remove permaplat status and display a message to inform the player. In this new version, permaplat WILL be lost if the sim’s Lifetime Aspiration (from Freetime) is maxed out. The mod also reduces LTA points to prevent permaplat from immediately recurring. Each age band has wider aspiration bands than the ones before, so it’s harder to break permaplat in older sims. Elders cannot be driven out of permaplat by any single Fear I know of, though experiencing a major Fear followed by a minor Fear can be enough to break them. Adults can be broken by any of the 5,000-point Fears such as death of a loved one. Children and teens who manage to get permaplat, typically through wishing for Peace of Mind with the genie lamp, can be broken by smaller fears, though I’m unsure of the actual minimum value.
105.) Frame Of Preference Fix – Found in the Door Mods Subcategory
Correctly marks the “Frame Of Preference” from Mansions & Gardens as an arch rather than a door. Without this fix, the arch can be “locked” and makes a door open/close sound as people walk through it.
106.) Free Time LTW Fixes – Found in the Aspiration Mods Category
Changes some of the aspiration categories for lifetime wants that apply to the new careers in FreeTime.
– Architecture – Knowledge, Family
– Dance – Popularity, Romance
– Entertainment – Popularity, Wealth
– Intelligence – Knowledge, Wealth (no change)
– Oceanography – Knowledge, Wealth (no change)
107.) Frequent Disease Processing – Found in the Health, Illness & Sickness Mods Category
Disease severity will be updated every cycle rather than every six cycles. The game periodically looks at sick sims and determines whether the disease should get better or worse. The space between these checks in an unmodified game averages 60 minutes + 30 minutes per sick sim. However rather than changing the disease severity immediately, it applies cumulative changes every six cycles or about every 9 hours if there is one sick sim in the house. This mod changes things so changes are applied every cycle. Disease will get small changes every hour or so rather than large changes every 9+ hours. The total change over time will be the same. This makes diseases both more and less fatal. Sims will recover a bit faster since they don’t have to wait for the next six-cycle break to be told they are better. On the other hand, sims who pass the lethal level will die immediately rather than having the chance to rest and get severity down. Overall it balances out.
108.) Furious Walkby Fix – Found in the Negative Social Interactions Subcategory
Fixes several problems with furious sims visits. Sims who are furious with sims in a household can visit to kick over the trashcan or otherwise be petty and vindictive. However the basic system is broken and this mod fixes several problems.
– The game looks for enemies to visit if no furious sims are found.
– Uses the correct probability for furious visits rather than using the enemy visit probability.
– Picks random furious/enemy rather than always using the first one found
– Witches will walk in rather than flying in, which is necessary for them to behave correctly.
If you use this you really should also install one of the Fewer Enemy Visit mods unless you like being visited by hordes of enemies every day.
109.) Fury Initialization Fix – Found in the Negative Social Interactions Subcategory
Prevents “furious” from ultimately improving relationships between sims. In the unmodified game, when a sim becomes furious with another sim STR and LTR are temporarily lowered. The relationship is restored as fury wears off. The problem is if the relationship change is so bad it tries to push relations below -100, the sim ends up with a higher relationship when fury is over. This is most noticeable when you end up BFFs with the guy who just stole your stereo. This mod replaces Hate Burglars with a more general solution that affects all furious tokens regardless of source. Remove Hate Burglars and use this one instead.
110.) Genie Initialization Fix – Found in the Genie Mods Subcategory
Genies are not set up as NPCs correctly when they are first initialized. The most obvious effect is the Visitor Controller from Simbology will zap summoned genies if you ban adults. This bug may also leave genies open to other, more dangerous actions that can corrupt your entire game installation since the genie is an object rather than a sim. After installing this mod be sure to dismiss any currently summoned genies and resummon them to incorporate this fix.
111.) Get Off Your Ass! – Found in the Needs & Mood Mods Category
Sims are much less likely to just sit around doing nothing. Many actions such as watching TV or eating dinner help Comfort while addressing other motives so activities like “Sit” or “Relax” are just a waste. With this mod sims will autonomously use these actions only if sick (including first trimester pregnancy) or if Comfort is the lowest motive. Affects chairs, couches, sectionals, recliners, beds and hammocks. Will not affect actions which require these items – for example sims will still autonomously sit in a chair to play chess.
112.) Grilled Cheese Love Cooking Channel – Found in the Aspiration Mods Category
The favorite channel for grilled cheese sims will be the Yummy Channel regardless of age.
113.) Grim Multi-Reaping Fix – Found in the Life & Death Mods Subcategory
Fixes an obscure and non-critical bug with the Grim Reaper. If two or more people die simultaneously and any sim after the first one reaped has low aspiration, then Grim loses track of his scythe, throws an error and disappears. How non-critical is this bug? The game simply resummons him and he finishes the job so you won’t even realize there is anything wrong unless you play in debug mode and have to click the reset button. Still, a bug is a bug.
114.) Harvest Fix – Found in the Harvestable Mods
Fixes an AL-introduced bug which causes crops to hang around as long as an hour after harvest.
115.) Hate Burglars – Found in the Burglar Mods Subcategory
Sims won’t automatically build up high relationships with their burglars.
116.) Hats Don’t Change Clothes – Found in the Clothing Mods Subcategory
Thinking Caps and Noodlesoothers no longer force sims into default clothing.
117.) Help Homework Owner – Found in the Education Mods Category
Cleans up the clutter on homework menus. Only the owner’s name will appear on the homework menu. So if you have two kids, Bart and Lisa, and you click on Bart’s homework only “Help Bart with Homework” will appear, not “Help Lisa with Homework”. Lisa has to click on her own homework to ask for help.
118.) Hobby Age Limits – Found in the Hobby Mods Category
Limits maximum hobby enthusiasm by age. Toddlers are limited to an enthusiasm of 2, children 4, and teens 6. Everyone else gets the normal limit of 10. Among other things, this prevents the problem of sims getting high enthusiasm as children and not being given hobby lot memberships, which are given only to teens or older.
119.) Hobby Friend Sanity – Found in the Hobby Mods Category
Fixes the “child bringing creepy old man home from school” issue. Sims who bring home friends due to hobby cards will bring only sims of the same age group. If nobody of the right enthusiasm can be found, it will force a townie to have the appropriate hobby.
120.) Hot Tub Entry Logic – Found in the Hygiene & Water Mods Category
Sims are smarter about leaving hot tubs and are less likely to soak in them all day. Sims will leave hot tubs if any of the following is true:
– Motives are failing
– It is raining and hot tub is outside
– If sim got in hot tub autonomously, will exit once comfort and fun (and hygiene/water for plantims) are all maxed.
121.) Influence Teen Adult – Found in the Adult Mods Category
Makes it possible to influence teens to have romantic actions with adults and vice versa. Of course this is useless without something which allows teen/adult romance.
122.) Job Stopinator – Found in the Job Related Mods Subcategory
Put this object in a sim’s inventory, and that sim will no longer get promotions. Any sim with this object in inventory will be unable to raise job performance high enough to allow promotion. This is true regardless of mood, platinum status, or the Industrious vacation benefit. Sims who already have performance above this level will have it pushed down below promotion limit at the beginning of the next work day. If the sim is already at work when this object is placed in inventory, promotion is still possible. Performance is adjusted by the stopinator only when the sim starts the work day. There are three files in the zip. You definitely need the main “CJ-JobStopinator” file. The other two are optional.
123.) Job Typo Fixes – Found in the Text Replacer, Names & Stat Mods Subcategory
Fixes typos in the job titles. IE: There is no such word as “restauranteur” in any language that I know of. The correct term is “restaurateur”.
124.) Jump Rope Fitness – Found in the Fitness & Workout Mods Subcategory
Jumping rope now builds fitness. The rate is the same as a radio workout.
125.) Just Leave Already – Found in the Party Mods Subcategory
Eliminates the “feature” of AL which caused guests pester your playable sims to say goodbye. Guests will now just leave.
126.) Kid Collection Fix – Found in the Children Mods Subcategory
Fixes bugs causing nighttime walkbys to invite themselves into your home. Obviously night walkbys are not in the standard game so you need this fix only if you are using another mod that generates late walkbys such as Vampire Walkbys or twojeffs’ Visitor Controller.
127.) LTA Platinum Fix – Found in the Aspiration Mods Category
Causes aspiration bar to fill immediately when earning permaplat status for a full LTA bar. This mod is necessary only if you are using Fragile Permaplat without also using Slower LTA Gain.
128.) Late Sleepover – Found in the Sleep Mod Subcategory
Sims can ask other sims to stay the night even if it’s after midnight
129.) Later Classes – Found in the Classes University Subcategory
Moves all morning university classes later in the day so no class starts before noon.
130.) Leave Business – Found in the Open For Business Category
When you close a business, your customers will frikking leave already!
131.) Leave Paper Alone – Found in the Newspaper Subcategory
Walkbys won’t read or steal the newspaper.
132.) Less Beach Obsession – Found in the Vacation Mods Category
Sims must be outside to autonomously engage in beach activities.Weather Mods
133.) Less Bed Making – Found in the Bed/Bedroom Mods Subcategory
Sims will no longer hike across the lot, through six doors, up three flights of stairs, and crawl across broken glass just to make a bed. They will autonomously make beds if they are in the same room.
134.) Less Caffeine – Found in the Coffee Mods Subcategory
Sims won’t autonomously drink coffee, espresso, or hot cocoa if they should be sleeping. If it is within 8 hours of a sim’s wake time, the sim will not drink caffeinated beverages. Wake time is determined by sleepclock (if one is found) or defaults to 6 am (if sleepclock is not installed or one is not assigned to that sim). Sims will be allowed to caffeinate if there are no free beds. This means your average sim with a wakeup time of 6 am will not drink coffee, etc. after 10 pm. This mod also prevents servos from ever drinking these beverages. These changes will not work for custom coffee makers, tea sets, or any other energy boosting drink.
136.) Less Complaining – Found in the Open For Business Category
Customers complain less. Customers ignore unmade beds (since the game rates them more filthy than stained and stinking toilets), toppled flamingos and gnomes, and dishes unless the dishes are stinky. They won’t complain about other customers unless the relationship is -25 or below
137.) Less Coughing – Found in the Health, Illness & Sickness Mods Category
Halves the duration of coughing fits caused by pneumonia or other illnesses.
138.) Less Howling – Found in the Werewolf Mods Subcategory
Werewolves will howl far less often. With this mod, werewolves will howl only if they are lonely. Most werewolves won’t howl if someone in the room is sleeping, though Grouchy ones won’t care. Howling increases both fun and social so they will usually do it once then move on with their lives. Players can still direct werewolves to howl whenever they want to.
139.) Less Hydrobot Breakage – Found in the Tinkering Mods Subcategory
Hydrobots will break down FAR less often.
140.) Less Jealousy – Found in the Relationships Mods Subcategory
Changes the rules for jealousy.
1.) Dates: Sims on dates will always become jealous regardless of relationship. If you go on a blind date and the other person spends the evening flirting with the waiter, it’s probably not going to go well.
2.) Threesomes: No jealousy even if everyone involved is in love.
3.) Commitment: Other than the situations above, Sims will feel jealousy only if they are going steady, engaged or married.
141.) Less Late Penalty – Found in the Job Related Mods Subcategory
Being late for work is no longer worse than skipping the day entirely. In the unmodified game, if you are late three times you are automatically fired. Yet you can miss three consecutive days of work without vacation and suffer a significant performance penalty but keep your job. So it’s actually better to blow off work than to go in an hour late. Under this mod, being late imposes 80% of the performance penalty for missing the entire day. You can still be fired for low performance, but can no longer be fired for being late three days.
142.) Less Leaf Play – Found in the Nature Mods Category
Sims will play in leaves less often.
In order to play in leaves autonomously sims must:
– Pass a Fun check–this prevents sims from constantly playing in leaves even if Fun is maxed out.
– Have Neat 8 or less
– Be in the same room as the leaves. In normal play this means the sim must be outside, but if you use moveobjects to move a pile inside the sim must be in the same room to decide to jump in the pile.
143.) Less Naked Freakout – Found in the Relationships Mods Subcategory
Sims will no longer freak out when seeing their lovers naked. The mod specifically looks at sims who are in love. Ideally it would instead look for woohoo memories, but that’s more complicated and ultimately not really worth it.
144.) Less Napping – Found in the Sleep Mod Subcategory
Autonomous napping allowed only if energy critically low.
145.) Less Primping – Found in the Sloppy Personality Mods Subcategory
Sims will no longer autonomously do the Primp action if they have high hygiene (since it doesn’t help), low hygiene (since they should be showering) or are vampires (since it hurts them).
146.) Less Read To Sleep – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Family Mods Category
// Film & Lit Mods Subcategory
Read to sleep is limited by age and relationship. Read to sleep can no longer be done to teens. Seriously, who reads a teenager to sleep? The reader must be either a relative or a friend rather than any random stranger.
147.) Less Relaxing – Found in the Bed/Bedroom Mods Subcategory
Can only relax in bed as long as the sim’s energy is > 40%. The purpose is to keep sims using sleepclock from relaxing when they are sleepy, thus missing the call to go to bed. The player can still order sims to relax in bed. This just affects autonomous behavior.
148.) Less Servo Sleeping – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Sleep Mod Subcategory
// Servo Mods Subcategory
Drastically lowers the sleep threshold so that servos are far less likely to sleep after woohoo.
149.) Less Trash Duty – Found in the Trash Mods Subcategory
Prevents autonomous “take out trash” unless bin is at least half full. Lowers trash threshold on owned business lots so sims can take out trash before customers complain.
150.) Less Visitor Skilling – Found in the Visitor Mods Subcategory
Visitors are more sensible about using fun skilling items like the chessboard. Visitors use the fun check (which quits at higher motives) rather than the skill check (which quits when the sim is near motive failure) when doing fun skilling activities. Playable sims are unaffected. Visiting vampires automatically quit skilling objects once the sun comes up.
151.) Less Watering – Found in the Gardening Subcategory
Prevents sims from watering flowers or garden plants if the action would cause overwatering and prevents visitors from watering at all. Affects both autonomous and user-directed actions.
152.) Lightning Storm Fix – Found in the Weather Mods Category
Fixes a bug that prevents intense lightning storms. This mod fixes a bug that prevents the storm counter from ever advancing to a point where storms can form.
153.) Loan Jar – Found in the Finances & Money Mods Category
An object that allows your sims to borrow money as needed. The Loan Jar appears under Misc/Misc in the catalog and looks like a tip jar. Sims can borrow money at an interest rate that defaults to 3% per day but can be set anywhere from 1% to 9%. Every morning at 7 am, the interest will be added to the total balance. All payments must be made manually. Technically, there is nothing that forces you to pay the loan. In fact you can borrow money, delete the jar, and not have to pay it back. This allows it to double as a money generator for people who need a sum of money between kaching and motherlode.
154.) Lockable Garage Doors – Found in the Car Mods Subcategory
Allows garage doors to be locked like other doors. The locks affects only pedestrians so cars will go in and out as normal. Designed to keep sims from walking ten miles out of their way to enter through the garage door rather than the front door they are standing next to. Since EA designed garage doors stupidly, to lock garages you have to click on a non-garage door. You will see a menu “Garage…/” that opens up a submenu with the normal lock choices. This will affect all garage doors on the lot. There is no way to lock garage doors individually. I have not included the special pet and roommate locks for garages.
155.) Loop Fixes – Found in the Game Fix Mods Category
Fixes some of the annoying loop behaviors by blocking actions if the sim is going to quit immediately. As an example, the original behavior which inspired this mod was: get book, sit down, open book, close book, stand up, put book away, stand there a second, hey look a bookcase! Behaviors covered are read book, write in diary, watch movie, use bubble machine, play computer game, juggle bottles, play in hammock, tai chi, mah jong, llama game, slide down banister, remote control cars and helicopter, basketball court, plantsim “get a drink”, tuck in (cribs and beds), dance solo, and using the diving board if already swimming. Sims can still do these things, but will be smarter about not starting a behavior when other motives are low.
156.) Lot Inspector – Found in the Cleaner Gameplay Mods Subcategory
The Lot Inspector is Prof. von Ball, the volleyball used by crazy Knowledge sims, and can be found in buy mode under Miscellaneous/Miscellaneous. To use it simply click on it in the catalog and a report will be issued. You don’t even have to place it on the lot. This allows it to be used on vacant lots so you can check them out before deletion. Fixing problems usually requires a sim to be present, so it is best to use it before a family moves out. Prof. Von Ball reports on the following problems:
– Urnstones (meaning urns and tombstones) – Deleting lots with urnstones on them means deleting sims, and deleting sims is a Very Bad Thing that will destroy your neighborhood. You will need to move the urnstones off the lots either in a sim’s inventory or by clicking on the urnstone and moving it to a community lot. If you are using base game or University only, you have no way of moving urnstones off lots so you can’t safely delete these lots.
– Offworld Loiterers – Sims are sometimes generated invisibly on your lot. For example when you call a sim, that sim is actually created but not put into the world, and then removed when the call is over. Sometimes offworld sims get stuck and not removed correctly. Use the batbox (ffsdebugger from MATY) to “Nuke…/Offworld Loiterers.”
– Owned Businesses – Sell any sim-owned businesses before deleting the lot.
– Loan Jar – If a loan jar with a positive balance is found you will be warned. This is not a dangerous issue and the lot can still be deleted safely. If you do so then the loan, but not the money, will disappear. This may not be a bad thing.
157.) Lot Unsticker – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Community Lot Mods Category
// Open For Business Category
Sometimes when a sim goes to an owned community business lot, Live Mode is locked out and the player can only build or exit. The only way to rescue the lot is to sell the business. The Lot Unsticker is an object that may be able to re-activate Live Mode. This will fix only owned businesses on community lots. If you manage to get another type of lot stuck, say by making the only sim on the lot unselectable, then this mod can’t help. If you use this mod incorrectly you can make the situation worse, and even break the residential lot the owner lives on so you have to move out and sell the business. This is a very experimental mod. Don’t use it if you don’t know how to back up your neighborhood or if you aren’t comfortable messing with technical stuff. There is no guarantee it will fix your problem.
158.) Lower Wages – Found in the Job Related Mods Subcategory
Reduces wages to bring the inflated salaries for jobs in the expansion packs in line with the base game. University jobs have their salaries reduced by 40%. Seasons and Free Time jobs have salaries reduced by 20%.
159.) Make 5 Reagents – Found in the Witch Mods Subcategory
Witches automatically make reagents in batches of five rather than one at a time.
160.) Makeout Want Fix – Found in the Dating Mods Subcategory
Sims initiating make outs get the make out want satisfied at the beginning of the action rather than at the end. In the unmodified game, sims who have both the “kiss” and “make out” wants who initiate a make out get the kiss want satisfied immediately, but this sometimes causes all their wants to reroll and the make out want disappears. The target sims gets both wants satisfied right away while the initiating sims gets stiffed out of a bunch of aspiration points.
161.) Maternity Pay Fix – Found in the Pregnancy & Fertility Mods Subcategory
Sims no longer get maternity pay on their days off. If a pregnant sim is not scheduled to work on a given day, she won’t get maternity pay for staying home when she wasn’t supposed to work anyhow. If the sim is scheduled to work, and you use “Walk To Work”, which is the only way to get a pregnant sim to work, the sim will not get double pay (vacation pay plus normal work pay). However the sim WILL lose a day of vacation (unpaid) since she is waiving her maternity leave by going to work. This all applies to pregnant men as well.
162.) Meet Professors Fix – Found in the NPC’s University Subvategory
Fixes bug that occasionally causes university students to meet only one or neither professor.
163.) Memory Fixes – Found in the Game Fix Mods Category
Fixes bugs with several sim memories. The memories and associated gossip fixed are:
– Lifetime Want – Marry Off X Children
– Lifetime Want – Have X Grandchildren
– Lifetime Want – Have X Best Friends
– Have Great/Lousy Anniversary Party
This won’t fix existing memories, only new ones generated after you install the mod.
164.) Modular Synth Fix – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Electronics Category
// Skill Mods Category
The modular synth is now treated as a skill object, as it should be, rather than a fun object.
165.) Money Tree Watering Fix – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Aspiration Mods Category
// Finances & Money Mods Category
Fixes bug where money tree water supply was not correctly updated when watered by servos or NPCs.
166.) More Abductions – Found in the Alien Mods Subcategory
Makes abduction when stargazing 4x as likely. Under the original abduction code it takes an average of 180 hours of stargazing to get abducted. With this mod that average is cut to 45.5 hours which is achievable if you really want it. Don’t use this mod if you have FreeTime since that EP already includes the ability to increase your abduction chances. “Search For Constellations” gives the same abduction chance as this mod and the other interactions (Planets, UFOs, Summon Aliens) give higher chances.
167.) More Butler Cooking – Found in the Butler Mods Subcategory
Butlers look at everyone’s hunger levels, not just residents, when deciding whether to cook.
168.) More Composting – Found in the Gardening Subcategory
Causes anyone headed for the outdoor trash can to head for an available compost bin instead. This works for playable sims, maids, or anyone else. Note that only newspapers and trash bags will be redirected to the trash can. Other objects (dishes, baby bottles) headed to the outdoor trash will not be intercepted. This is because the compost bins errors out with these kinds of trash.
169.) More Customers – Found in the Open For Business Category
Smooths out the wildly random customer populations that made it nearly impossible to run profitable businesses during the night.
170.) More Dishes – Found in the Mealtime Mods Subcategory
Sims pick up more dishes when clearing the table. EA logic – A serving consists of 7 dishes (6 plates plus the platter) so let’s limit the number of dishes when cleaning up to 5. Cyjon logic – Let’s increase the limit to equal the number of dishes that are likely to be present. That way players don’t have to issue the command twice.
171.) More Floor Sleeping – Found in the Sleep Mod Subcategory
Allows sims to choose “Sleep On Floor” in any livable lot: residential, dorms, frats and apartments.
172.) More Fun – Found in the Needs & Mood Mods Category
Lowers motive thresholds so sims will stick with fun activities longer. This mod prevents most fun activities from being considered lower priority than other commands. In the unmodified game giving a command will break sims out of fun actions like watching TV, but with this mod it won’t. This takes a little getting used to, especially if you’ve been playing for a long time and unconsciously expect sims to stop having fun and defer to other commands.
173.) More No Dancing In Silence – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Stereo Mods Subcategory
// Relationships Subcategory
Sims can’t slow dance or classic dance unless there is a stereo present. Also fixes the bug that prevented elders and adults from classic dancing with each other.
174.) More Sleep – Found in the Sleep Mod Subcategory
Players can direct sims to sleep at night, even if the sim is not tired.
175.) More Sloppy Sims – Found in the Sloppy Personality Mods Subcategory
Raises the Neat threshold for salvaging from the garbage, eating from the garbage or eating spoiled food (meaning it will happen a bit more often). The default is to allow these actions to sims of Neat 0 or Neat 1. The problem is none of the default zodiacs have Neat below 2 so game-generated sims will never exhibit these behaviors.
176.) NPC Maker Fix – Found in the NPC Mods Category
Tweaks the NPC Maker menus to make them more functional. Updated with corrected tourist menus.
– Social Groups and Iconic Hobbyists can be made only from Townies, not from pages and pages of dead ancestor sims.
– Eliminates the ability to create Vacation Locals, since the NPC Maker does it wrong. Use Argon’s Townie Brick instead
– Re-enables tourist menus for AL and changes them to “Make Me…” (turning the selected sim into a tourist) rather than converting townies.
177.) Naked Teen Hot Tub – Found in the Adult +18 Mods Category
Allows teens to get in the hot tub naked (if their personality is appropriate) and join other naked hot tubbers.
178.) New Genie Wishes – Found in the Genie Mods Subcategory
Adds new wishes to the FreeTime genie.
1- Metamorphosis – Cause or cure any paranormal state (zombie, vampire, werewolf, plantsim, witch).
– Zombie will use my Zombie Personality rather than EA defaults. There was no clean way to support both short of actually killing and raising the sim, which seemed a tad extreme, and I’m not going to release two versions of this mod.
– Un-zombie will repair personality damage, but not skill damage since there is no way to know how much was done.
2- Personality – Changes one personality characteristic to either the minimum or maximum. Changes both current and genetic personality.
3- Disease – This package contains two wishes:
– Immunity: Cures the sim of all diseases other than morning sickness, and makes the sim immune to any future diseases.
– Cure The Plague: Cures all diseases, except for morning sickness, throughout the neighborhood. Also cleans up any contagion on the current lot, but sims on other lots may become re-infected during the first 30 game minutes of play.
4- Business Success – Applies a steady positive pressure to customer satisfaction, making it easier to get to level 10. The wish must be made by the business owner while on the business property. The wish will last as long as the business has the same owner. At this point this works only on home businesses because I’m a dummy and never tested it on a commercial property, and you can’t use the genie lamp on a commercial lot! I’ll fix that someday.
The mod also contains these features:
– The bug fix in Genie Initialization Fix so you don’t need that mod if you have this one.
– Children can wish for Wealth.
– Children can wish for the Power To Cheat Death. If the child dies, the begging animations are a bit wonky. The child will appear and disappear during the sequence, but in the end will be restored to life correctly. This is a bug with child ghosts in the game I probably won’t ever fix.
179.) New Servos – Found in the Servo Mods Subcategory
Makes several changes to servo activation.
– A newly-activated servo inherits the genetic personality of the activator so won’t be affected by any personality changes the sim has gone through (zombies, werewolves, Personalit-O-Nomitron, etc.).
– Genetic personality is set correctly. The servo doesn’t inherit the activator’s skills.
– Cooking, mechanical, and cleaning are set to 10 and the others are set to 0.
– The servo doesn’t get random badges.
180.) Night Calling – Found in the Phone Mods Subcategory
Allows a larger variety of sims to be called at night. Sims can call vampires, werewolves, plantsims, servos, high level good or evil witches at night without it being considered harassment. This mod makes a number of assumptions about sleeping habits. All sims sleep for 6 hours. Sims are assumed to go to sleep at midnight, with two exceptions. If a sim’s job starts between midnight and 9 am, that sim goes to bed 9 hours before the start of the shift. If a sim’s job ends between midnight and 9 am, the sim goes to bed as soon as the shift ends.
181.) No Alien Pregnancy – Found in the Alien Mods Subcategory
Sims can still be abducted but will not return pregnant, regardless of gender.
182.) No Alien Sexism – Found in the Alien Mods Subcategory
Allows both female and male abductees to get pregnant from alien probing.
183.) No Alumni Walkbys – Found in the NPC’s University Subcategory
Prevents University NPCs (professors, cheerleaders, etc.) from continuing to walk by university housing after they’ve been moved into playable houses.
184.) No Auto Dance Kiss – Found in the Music & Dance Mods Subcategory
Sims won’t do the dance kiss interaction autonomously. Player can still direct sims to do it.
185.) No Auto Exercise Bike – Found in the Fitness & Workout Mods Subcategory
Sims no longer use the exercise bike autonomously. Players can still direct sims to use it.
186.) No Auto Finger Wiggle – Found in the Cat Mods Subcategory
Sims no longer will do the finger-wiggle game which inevitably ends in them getting hurt. Cats won’t ask for it either. Sadistic players can still direct a sim to do it. This also prevents cats from asking to be thrown in the air.
187.) No Auto Hand Washing – Found in the Bathroom Mods Subcategory
Since hand washing has a negligible effect on hygiene and really just wears out the plumbing, this prevents autonomous washing of hands.
188.) No Auto Jump On Couch – Found in the Playful Personality Mods Subcategory
Sims no longer autonomously jump on the couch.
189.) No Auto Perform – Found in the Music & Dance Mods Subcategory
Sims will no longer perform with instruments or join performances autonomously.
190.) No Auto Pillow Fights – Found in the Playful Personality Mods Subcategory
Prevents sims from starting pillow fights on their own. Player can still initiate them.
191.) No Auto Read to Me – Found in the Children Mods Subcategory
Prevents kids from constantly pestering their parents to be read to. Player can still give the order directly.
192.) No Auto Snowmen – Found in the Weather Mods Category
Prevents autonomous snowman building.
193.) No Auto Talk Through – Found in the Children Mods Subcategory
Prevents sims from autonomously using “talk through” with stuffed animals. Unlike other versions of this, it should work with all stuffed animals (including cloned ones) not just the teddy bear.
194.) No Auto Turn Off Computer – Found in the Computer Mods Subcategory
Prevents sims from turning off computers on their own. Player can still direct sims to do so.
195.) No Auto Turn Off TV – Found in the TV Mods Subcategory
Prevents sims from turning off the TV autonomously.
196.) No Auto Urn Cleanup – Found in the Life & Death Mods Subcategory
Prevents sims from cleaning up urns autonomously. Cleaning up smashed urns is like deleting tombstones — a big no-no that can lead to neighborhood corruption. This mod prevents sims from doing so automatically, though you can still direct them to if you want to break your hood. Note that macrotastics “Macro/Clean” might still push the clean command.
197) No Auto View Art – Found in the Art/Painting Mods Subcategory
Sims no longer autonomously view art objects including paintings, sculptures, deeds, sim-painted canvases and sim-drawn schematics.
198.) No Baby Stalking – Found in the Baby Mods Subcategory
Total strangers will no longer break into your home in the middle of the night to witness the birth of your baby.

200.) No Butler NPC Harassment – Found in the Butler Mods Subcategory
The butler will no longer dismiss NPCs who have been invited over socially.
201.) No Butterflies or Fireflies – Found in the Nature Mods Category
Prevents butterflies and fireflies from spawning. This mod doesn’t eliminate the associated wants.
202.) No CAS Idles – Found in the CAS Mods Category
Stops idle actions and reactions in CAS. This mod kills random behaviors (stretches, whistling, etc.) for the current sim. Does not kill those idles for other sims waiting in the wings, though I plan to squash those eventually. Also eliminates the reactions to clothing and personality choices.
203.) No Candy Machine Failure – Found in the Career Reward Mods Subcategory
Prevents failure when using the candy machine so that it is a valuable training tool (like other career rewards) rather than a useless conversation piece.
204.) No Chair Shooing – Found in the Mealtime Mods Subcategory
This mod lowers the priority of the “move” command directed at sims blocking chairs from being scooted out. The move command will now clear autonomous actions but not mess with user-directed commands. Among other things, this allows sims to “wait for food” without messing up meal service.
205.) No Coffee Energy Failure – Found in the Coffee Mods Subcategory
Sims won’t stop drinking coffee, espresso or hot chocolate due to sleepiness.
206.) No Coffee Juggling – Found in the Coffee Mods Subcategory

Suppresses the message that there isn’t enough room in the dorm.
213.) No Effects – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Hobby Mods Category
// Stereo Mods Subcategory
Removes several of the game’s visual effects such as floating notes by stereos.
-Zone eliminates the glow and sound from being in The Zone.
-DJBooths eliminates visual effects for DJ booths. It affects EA booths only, not custom DJ booths. This is separate from Stereo because it uses a different technique. You must also get DJ Booth Fixes for this piece to work. If you should remove this particular piece of the mod, you’ll need to sell and rebuy all your DJ booths to get visual effects back.
-Stereo eliminates the floating musical notes and speaker vibrations from all stereos (including custom ones), the karaoke machine, and the modular synth
214.) No Email – Found in the Computer Mods Subcategory
Completely removes email commands (send and check) from computers. This eliminate the frequent “doesn’t have email” messages generated by sims checking autonomously, and it clears the cluttered computer menu of two useless entries.

Sims won’t quit working on the restorable car if the engine blows.

Sims no longer change to formalwear when playing the piano or violin in The Zone.
221.) No Hidden Woohoo – Found in the Adult +18 Mods Category
Visitors will no longer leave when residents have woohoo. The game temporarily hides people having woohoo. Starting in NL this is done by setting the “hidden” flag. This is the same flag used for sims who go to work or school, so it is an indicator the people aren’t actually present. Visitors look around, find no unhidden residents, and leave. This mod restores the pre-NL method of hiding woohooing sims, which just tells the game not to draw them.
222.) No Hobby Animations – Found in the Hobby Mods Category
Gets rid of all the hobby idle animations like dance stretches or stomach rubbing.
223.) No Hobby Plaque – Found in the Hobby Mods Category
Sims no longer get hobby plaques when maxing out enthusiasm.
224.) No Home Buskers – Found in the Music & Dance Mods Subcategory

232.) No Neutral Spell Alignment Shift – Found in the Witch Mods Subcategory
Neutral spells such as Cleanius Corpus and Creatum Nutrimens won’t cause any alignment shift
233.) No Outerwear Spin – Found in the Clothing Mods Subcategory
Sims instantly change in and out of outerwear rather than spinning and causing a traffic jam in the doorway. Other clothing changes still use the spin.
234.) No Party Cops – Found in the Party Mods Subcategory
Cops no longer break up loud parties.
235.) No Pet Challenge – Found in the Pet Food Mods Subcategory
Pets no longer challenge each other over the food bowl.

Students in private school will wear their everyday clothes and no longer change into a uniform.
242.) No Quitting – Found in the Open For Business Category
Prevents employees from quitting just because you didn’t read their mind and realize they wanted a raise. They will complain but won’t actually quit.
243.) No Random Calls – Found in the Phone Mods Subcategory
Reduces the massive spam of incoming phone calls from random idiots who keep interrupting play. They are broken up into specific packages, download as desired depending on which calls you want to eliminate.
-“Strangers” prevents people you barely know from calling just to chat. Works on both townies and downtownies.
–“Contacts” stops calls from people you’ve never even met, who call just because you have a mutual friend.
–“DatesOutings” puts an end to calls from people wanting these activities, both the “Dude, you seem cool, wanna go downtown?” variety and the “I had such a wonderful time last night. Let’s do it again!” variety.
–“Subscriptions” drops the axe on the hordes of magazine telemarketers introduced in FreeTime. Yeah because we don’t get enough telemarketers in real life, Eaxis – we want them in our computer games as well.
None of these stop the 4 pm low relationship calls. Use Pescado’s Phone Hack for those.
244.) No Refrigerator Play – Found in the Fridge Mods Subcategory
Prevents sims from swinging on refrigerator doors
245.) No Reputation Rewards – Found in the Misc Mods Category
Eliminates any or all of the reputation rewards and penalties from Apartment Life. The zip file contains a mod for each possible reward so you can determine which ones you want in your game. Install the files for the rewards you want to eliminate.

Soaping fountains is not longer allowed, either autonomously or player-directed.
250.) No Spoiled Food – Found in the Food Mods Category
Prevents sims from even considering eating spoiled food unless they are very sloppy, very hungry or a zombie.
251.) No Steal Paper – Found in the Newspaper Subcategory
Prevents passing enemies from stealing your newspaper. KNOWN ISSUE: Causes walkbys to sometimes run by without being greetable. This is because they try to steal the paper, are prevented, then run away with their imagined booty.
252.) No Stinky Dancing – Found in the Music & Dance Mods Subcategory
Greatly reduces the ridiculous hygiene drain caused by smustle, goofy dance, slap dance and hula. Slightly reduces the energy drain as well.

254.) No Table Platters – Found in the Mealtime Mods Subcategory
Sims no longer put serving platters on eating surfaces such as dining tables or counter islands.

// Aging Mods in the Time Mod Subcategory
// Townie Mods Subcategory
Suppresses the dialog that allows you to age townies.
256.) No Townie Runaways – Found in the Townie Mods Subcategory
Teens can no longer run away from homes they don’t actually live in. Any selectable teen can run away from home if they have bad/no relationships with everyone in the house. This can be annoying if you have made a visiting teen selectable for some reason, causing them to run away even though they don’t live there. With this mod only teens who belong to the current household can run away.
257.) No Townie Teen Jobs – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Job Related Mods Subcategory
// Teen Mods Subcategory
// Townie Mods Subcategory
Prevents townie teens from having jobs.
258.) No Visiting Professors – Found in the NPC’s University Subcategory
Prevents those creepy Art professors from stalking your dorms. Designed to work with Visitor Controller by Simbiology but can also work on it’s own
259.) No Visitor Chores – Found in the Visitor Mods Subcategory
Prevents visitors from doing chores around your house. Doesn’t prevent you from influencing visitors to work.
260.) No Visitor Dance Bar – Found in the Visitor Mods Subcategory
Visitors will no longer use the dance bar, either the one you can buy or the Dance career reward. Playable sims can still use these autonomously, since this is one of the few autonomous skill building actions they will do.
261.) No Wash Clean Hands – Found in the Sloppy Personality Mods Subcategory
Designed specifically to fix an annoyance when using both Bathroom Uses You from MATU & Always Flush Toilet/Wash Hands from Simbology.
262.) No Weightlifting Weenies – Found in the Fitness & Workout Mods Subcategory
Fixes typical EA stupidity which makes active sims MORE likely to quit using exercise equipment than lazy sims. You may have noticed it is hard to keep some sims using weight machines and the treadmill. Why? Because EA decided active sims should treat those machines as fun activities instead of skill-building activities. The problem with that is sims quit fun activities MUCH earlier than skill activities, so athletic sims exercise less than lazy ones.
263.) No Window Shopping – Found in the Open For Business Category
Have you ever noticed that when you are running a business, some walkbys (usually maids and other NPCs) will enter your establishment, go to some obscure window deep in the building, try to walk through the wall, and then leave? This mod kills the behavior. Non-shopping walkbys will just…walk by!
264.) No Witch Names – Found in the Witch Mods Subcategory
Witches no longer have titles like “The Evil Witch”. It should remove titles from witches who already have them
265.) No Wolves – Found in the Wild Animals Subcategory

Sims will automatically take off the Noodlesoother, Cool Shades and Thinking Cap before going to work or school.

Sims no longer fall when performing yoga.

Prevents sims from bringing zombies home from work.
269.) Non-Townie Outfits – Found in the Townie Mods Subcategory
Prevents certain outfits and hairstyles from being selected for townies and newly-aged sims. They can still be chosen by the player.
270.) Old Novels – Found in the Writing Mods Category
Restores pre-FT novel writing to FreeTime and Apartment Life.
271.) Outdoor Lights All Night – Found in the Light Mods Subcategory
Outdoor lights will stay on until 7 am rather than 2 am.
272.) Paper Count Fix – Found in the Newspaper Subcategory
Kills false warnings about too many newspapers. Sometimes you get a warning about too many papers when you have only one or two lying around. That’s because you have a sim on the crapper reading an imaginary pulled-out-of-thin-air paper. This mod causes the game to count only real newspapers.
273.) Partial Financial Advice – Found in the Aspiration Mods Category
Sims offering financial advice on the computer will be paid for the partial hour if the command is canceled.
274.) Peace of Mind Fix – Found in the Genie Mods Subcategory
Using the genie to wish for Peace of Mind no longer also gives credit for maximizing a business. Updated with important fix for players with FreeTime who are using Fragile Permaplat.
275.) Personalit-O-Nomitron – Found in the Aspiration Mods Category
Allows you to use aspiration points to change a sim’s personality. This device, found under Electronics/Miscellaneous* for $1, looks like the Resurrect-O-Nomitron. When you click on it you get up to three menus: Increase, Decrease and Restore. Increase allows you to increase a personality point for 30,000 aspiration points. Decrease allows you to lower a personality characteristic for the same cost. Restore replaces a personality point lost to zombification, lycanthropy, the SimVac, or any other means. Restore costs 15,000 aspiration points. These changes are instantaneous. The device works in whole personality points whenever possible but in cases where it needs to change a partial point (due to lycanthropy personality changes or Encourage actions) it will take a proportionate number of aspiration points.
276.) Plantbaby Changes – Found in the Plant Sim Mods Subcategory
Plantbabies now get only half the skills of the parent sim. They also get half badges but that was already in the base code. Nature enthusiasm will set to the predestined hobby (if you have FreeTime) and genetic personality will be set correctly. Set Nature as predestined hobby rather than maxing it out.
277.) Plantsim Cloning – Found in the Plant Sim Mods Subcategory
Plantbabies will be physical clones of the parent. Ideal Plantsim is no longer involved. No twins are possible. Babies will be the same gender as the parent plantsim.
278.) Plantsim Fix – Found in the Plant Sim Mods Subcategory
Fixes a bug that prevents players from getting plantsims unless they play the same lot without saving for several game days. As you may know, you become a plantsim once you have sprayed crops more than a certain number of times. The problem is that when you leave a lot, whether to go to the neighborhood or to go to a commercial lot, it doesn’t save the spray count so it resets to zero.
279.) Pool Ladder Autonomy – Found in the Pool Mods Subcategory
Sims will autonomously use ladders to get into the pool so you don’t always need to have a diving board.
280.) Practice Perform Changes – Found in the Music & Dance Mods Subcategory
Sims are smarter when using musical instruments and deciding between Practice and Perform. Sims follow roughly the following logic, in order of priority:
– If another sim is Performing, other sims will join the band and Perform as well.
– Sims who need Creativity for promotions will Practice
– Sims with maxed out Creativity will Perform
– Sims who meet none of the above criteria can select either mode
281.) Pregnant Yoga – Found in the Pregnancy & Fertility Mods Subcategory
Pregnant sims can do yoga.
282.) Professional Blogger – Found in the Writing Mods Category
Sims can make money from blogging on the computer. Update to extend higher earnings to sims with secondary Wealth aspiration. Sims who have maxed out enthusiasm in a hobby will earn money during the time they blog. Sims with the Wealth aspiration, primary or secondary, earn the same rate as they do for offering financial advice ($75, $125 or $200 per hour depending on Logic skill). Non-Wealth sims earn half this amount since they don’t obsess over all the SEO details of a successfully monetized blog. This money is earned only if the sim has maximum enthusiasm in the hobby. Blogging at lower enthusiasm levels earns nothing.
283.) Professor Schmooze Fix – Found in the NPC’s University Subcategory
Fixes Drama professors so they can be schmoozed for better grades just like other professors.
284.) Put Book Down – Found in the Film & Lit Mods Subcategory
Sims will put books away only in the same room. Sloppy sims won’t always use a table if a bookcase is closer.
285.) Put Homework Down – Found in the Homework Mods Subcategory
Sims look for an empty desk to put homework on rather than all rushing for The One Desk. Includes homework from public/private school and from university.
286.) Put Paper Down – Found in the Newspaper Subcategory
Sims will be smarter about where to put down newspapers when finished with them. They will put it on a table rather than the floor. If the paper is outside, the sim will put it on a table inside. If the paper is inside, the sim will put it on a table in the same room. If no acceptable surface is available in the same room, the sim will put it on the floor rather than hiking to some obscure end table three floors away.
287.) Quit Having Fun – Found in the Fun Mods Subcategory
Sims will be smarter about quitting fun activities before they are on the brink of death.
288.) Random Apartment Residents – Found in the Apartment Mods Subcategory
Chooses apartment neighbors randomly instead of by EA’s usual lazy “pick the first one on the list” style.
289.) Random Chance Cards – Found in the Chance Card Mods Subcategory
All chance card choices have a flat 50% chance of being right. If a sim has the hunch benefit from FT either answer has an 80% chance of being right. Under the standard system, each card has basically a “right” answer that has a high chance of giving a positive result. Once you know the right answers it substantially reduces the randomness of chance cards. This mod is intended to restore that randomness making sims’ lives less predictable. This mod also removes the 1% chance that BOTH answers will give negative results.
290.) Relationship Decay Fix – Found in the Friendship Mods Subcategory
Fixes bug which causes game to error out when calculating the 4 pm relationship decay on very large families. If you don’t play with a mod like Bigger Families then you probably don’t need this, though it doesn’t hurt to have it. However if you play very large households with lots of friends, you should definitely get this.
291.) Reputation Job Sanity – Found in the Job Related Mods Subcategory
Townies offer jobs in their current career track. Townies without jobs won’t offer one.
292.) Reputation New Friend Fix – Found in the Friendship Mods Subcategory
Fixes a reputation rewards bug where the game overwrites a variable, potentially befriending sims like Baby New Year.
293.) Resurrect-O-Nomitron Mark 2 – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Career Reward Mods Subcategory
// Life & Death Mods Subcategory
// Vampire Mods Subcategory
// Zombie Mods Subcategory
This object is a version of the Resurrect-O-Nomitron available in the Buy catalog for the bargain price of 10,000 simoleons. The old Resurrect-O-Nomitron is still available as a Paranormal reward. There are now two versions of this mod. -MaxisPersonality uses the old Maxis method of determining zombie personality. -CyjonPersonality uses the personality changes in the Zombie Personality mod. Install one or the other but not both. The Resurrect-O-Nomitron Mark 2 allows any sim to resurrect a sim normally, as a zombie, or as a vampire. There is no cost for the service. Target selection has been changed so that the tombstone must be on the lot, but the calling sim doesn’t have to know the victim. Although it can be used in normal play, it is designed to be used by a cemetery keeper who controls the fate of the dead. He doesn’t have to know them and doesn’t have to pay for them.
294.) Revised Majors – Found in the Classes University Subcategory
All the university majors have been revised so that they are actually relevant to careers. This mod works fine with the existing semester system but works even better with Cyjons Semester Changes. Each major is built around the idea of a “core skill”. This is the only skill you need to study if you want to get passing grades. Other skills allow you to get better grades but are not required.
295.) Runaway Skills – Found in the Teen Mods Subcategory
Runaway teens no longer get their skills randomized, potentially lowering high skill levels. Instead they slowly build skills during the time away from the house. Teens will get 1/20 of a random skill point every hour they are gone. This averages a total of 1.2 skill points per day, though it may not be immediately visible since these points are divided among multiple skills.
296.) Safe Hats – Found in the Aspiration Mods Category
If the selected sim has aspiration below gold, there will be no option to wear the Thinking Cap or Noodlesoother.
297.) School Hobby Friend Fix – Found in the Hobby Mods Category
Fixes broken school-hobby friend system. Children and teens get hobby cards that say they will bring home friends from school, and then come home alone because EA never added the hobby friend check. This fixes that.
298.) School Sick Days – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Health, Illness & Sickness Mods Category
// School Mods Subcategory
Sick sims can stay home from school without penalty. If a student (child or teen) is sick, then the bus will still come but the “go to school” command will not be pushed on the sick kid. It will be pushed on any healthy students in the house. There will be no grade penalty for sick students who skip school, even if they get better before the day ends.
299.) Scrap Named Painting – Found in the Art/Painting Mods Subcategory
Changes the easel menu so instead of saying “Scrap Painting” it says, for example, “Scrap Vidcund’s Painting”. If a painting shows the old “Scrap Painting” command, it means it doesn’t have a valid owner anymore. This typically happens if the owner moves out or if the easel is moved from one household to another through inventory.
300.) Seated Aging Fix – Found in the Life & Death Mods Subcategory
Sims can no longer avoid death by sitting in a chair. The game refuses to automatically age up people who are sitting or lying down. This is most obvious when sims are supposed to die of old age. Grim won’t come until the sim is standing. This means that technically sims can live forever by simply never getting out of a chair.
301.) Self Preservation – Found in the Needs & Mood Mods Category
Sims will be less stupid about taking care of needs, emphasizing hunger over bladder or energy.
302.) Semester Changes – Found in the Classes University Subcategory
Substantially changes how the university works so it is more bearable and closer to being on the same schedule as the rest of the sims in your game. Each final now covers a year instead of a semester and these academic years are two game days long. This means the entire university experience covers only 8 days instead of 24. Finals are given at 9 am every other day (4 am for vampires).
303.) Shorter Jokes – Found in the Humor Mods Subcategory
Sims tell shorter jokes. This mod causes sims to go through 2 conversation cycles instead of 3 when telling jokes, significantly shortening the interaction.
304.) Sibling Torment – Found in the Family Mods Category
Noogie and Torment are negative actions which reduce relationship, but raise the instigator’s Social.
305.) Sleepwear by Personality – Found in the Clothing Mods Subcategory
Changes the logic for sims choosing what to wear when going to bed autonomously. Underwear vs. sleepwear is random with playful and outgoing sims more likely to go for underwear. Elders and pregnant sims always choose PJs.
306.) Slow Servo Skilling – Found in the Servo Mods Subcategory
Servos learn skills half as fast as other sims.
307.) Slower LTA Gain – Found in the Aspiration Mods Category
Significantly slows and balances the gain of Lifetime Aspiration (LTA) points. Babies don’t get LTA points because they don’t have aspiration levels. Young Adults don’t get LTA points because college is WAY to long compared to the rest of the sim lifetime and it was too hard to balance both. LTA points scale with age duration. So if you are using a mod that changes age length, like 8-Day Teens, the hourly LTA rate will adjust so sims will receive roughly the same number of LTA points over a lifetime as a sim using the default age lengths. Under this system it is effectively impossible to max out LTA before becoming an adult, or even early in the adult phase. When LTA platinum is reached, it will usually be by elders.
308.) Smart Milk Fix – Found in the Toddler Mods Subcategory
Fixes the bug where toddlers keep the learning bonus from smart milk after the milk wears off.
309.) Smarter Chair Selection – Found in the Seating Mods Subcategory
Sims are smarter about choosing where to sit during activities like reading and eating pizza. Sims will prefer, in order, seats in the room, in the apartment (if appropriate), indoors, anywhere. Within a category, sims will choose unattached chairs (like sofas and easy chairs) over seats scooted up to dining tables, bars, desks, game tables, etc. Activities directly affected are using books (reading or studying), pizza, Chinese food, refrigerator snacks, instant meal, coffee, hot chocolate and espresso. It will indirectly affect chair choices in all activities. This mod also affects seat selection sims listening to musical instruments. There will be no change in pre-OFB games–sims will still stand when listening to music. If you have OFB or later, then sims will sit when listening to music and will be smarter about choosing reasonable seats. To get the same behavior for newspapers, you need Cancel Paper.
310.) Smarter EP Check – Found in the Game Fix Mods Category
This mod by itself does nothing, but is a required mod among many other mods (mainly Cyjon’s) to function properly.
311.) Smarter Food Serving – Found in the Mealtime Mods Subcategory
Sims will be more logical when deciding how many servings to lay out on the table. Served meals still have the normal 6 servings, but individual plates will not be put out for:
– Sims at work or otherwise off the property
– Penguins
– NPC’s like the Maid, Gardener or Butler while they are working
– Sleeping Sims
– Servos & other robots
– Plant Sims
– Ungreeted Guests
– Babies
– Ghosts
312.) Smarter Privacy – Found in the Privacy Mods Subcategory
Sims are smarter about bathroom and woohoo privacy, ignoring unshooable or irrelevant sims. Bathroom privacy also ignores anyone the sim has crush or love for regardless of respective ages.
313.) Soccer Quit Fix – Found in the Sports/Activity Mods Subcategory
Similar to Basketball Quit Fix, sims won’t insist on walking all the way over to the soccer net if you cancel the command.
314.) Social Push Tweaks – Found in the Game Fix Mods Category
Prevents certain social actions from pushing commands on the target right away, messing up stacked social commands. When you try to stack a bunch of social commands sometimes the target becomes stuck. This is because sometimes the game pushes the action on the target right away rather than when the command comes up in the initiating sim’s command queue. So let’s say you give the commands Gossip, Joke, Friendly Hug, Dance Together. Both sims would stand there doing nothing. This is because the game pushes Dance Together immediately so Sim A is trying to Gossip but Sim B is trying to Dance Together. This mod prevents social actions from jumping the queue and blocking commands.
315.) Soothing Apology – Found in the Negative Social Interactions Subcategory
Apologies are three times as effective at reducing furiousness. Be sure to also get Apology Fury Fix or this mod won’t do anything.
316.) Spectral Servant Animation Fix – Found in the Witch Mods Subcategory
Fixes an animation error thrown by spectral servants.
317.) Sponge Bath Fix – Found in the Sloppy Personality Mods Subcategory
Sims will autonomously take sponge baths only if there are no bathtubs or showers on the property. Player can direct sponge baths at any time.
318.) Spy Microphone Fixes – Found in the Career Reward Mods Subcategory
Several bug fixes and tweaks of the Audio Augmenter Earpiece (the Intelligence career reward).
1. Fixes “That sounds like a great tip for getting ahead at work!” and “That sounded a bit like a ghost…” to give the proper rewards
2. Allows ghost events only if there are tombstones on the lot
3. Allow job events only if the sim has a job.
4. Chooses angry neighbors and ghosts randomly rather than picking the first one it finds
319.) Stay Means Stay – Found in the Sleep Mod Subcategory
“Say Goodbye To…/Everyone” no longer chases off Bon Voyage house guests or sims who have been asked to sleep over.
320.) Stop Kissing Me – Found in the Relationships Mods Subcategory
Sims will no longer kiss when greeting or saying goodbye unless the relationship is crush or love.
321.) Stuck Gardener Fix – Found in the Gardener Mods Subcategory
Fixes a bug that causes a gardener to stand by the truck and do nothing until dismissed if all landscape plants are inaccessible.
322.) Stuff Your Fat Face – Found in the Fridge Mods Subcategory
The “Stuff Face” fridge interaction adds fat points regardTinkering Modsof the sim’s hunger level.
323.) Teaching Fix – Found in the Education Mods Category
Teaching commands won’t be wiped out by other commands in the queue. This affects both teaching on career objects and helping kids with their homework.
324.) Teen Adult Privacy Fix – Found in the Adult Mods Category
Teen and adult sims no longer chase each other out of the bathroom if they have crush/love for each other. Designed to work with Jenflower’s Woohoo Teens
325.) There Can Be Only One (Professor) – Found in the NPC’s University Subcategory
Game will generate one rather than two professors for each major. Gender will be random.
326.) Toddler Bath Clothes – Found in the Toddler Mods Subcategory
Toddlers will always be put in everyday clothes after a bath.
327.) Townie Apartment Residents – Found in the Apartment Mods Subcategory
Apartment neighbors and roommates will be chosen from the townie pool rather than social groups.
328.) Townie Enthusiasm Seeder – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Hobby Mods Category
// Townie Mods Subcategory
Seeds townies with initial enthusiasm.
When a new sim is created, the game initializes hobby enthusiasm. This involved picking the One True Hobby and if the sim is not a playable sim creating initial enthusiasm levels. If you create sims in CAS and then convert them to townies, they will have enthusiasm of 0 in all hobbies and will be unavailable as hobby friends and possibly for some other hobby functions.
This mod finds townies and NPCs with 0 enthusiasm and marks them to be reinitialized. The change doesn’t happen right away, but over time it will slowly seed townies with appropriate enthusiasm.
329.) Townie Job Blocker – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Job Related Mods Subcategory
// Townie Mods Subcategory
You can give townies, downtownies and social group sims the Job Stopinator to prevent them from getting jobs.
330.) Townie Job Fix – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Job Related Mods Subcategory
// Townie Mods Subcategory
Allows townies to have any job rather than being restricted to jobs from the base game.
331.) Trim Inaccessible Bushes – Found in the Gardening Subcategory
Allows sims to trim bushes even if they can’t reach them.
332.) Turn On/Turn Off Selection – Found in the Dating Mods Subcategory
Implements a more rationale approach to selection of turn ons and turn offs. This works on any newly created sim aged teen or older including townies, downtownies, and NPCs. It also works on newly aged teens, playable or not. It won’t work on CAS sims nor will it reroll the TOs for existing sims.
333.) Vampire Walkbys – Mod is listed under the following categories:
// Supernatural Mods Category
// Vampire Mods Subcategory
Night walkbys may now occur at 10 pm, 1 am, and 4 am. Those walkbys can be werewolves, vampires, servos, high level witches or zombies. These visits are not guaranteed but will be more likely as the population of night creatures increases in your neighborhood.
334.) Variable Bookcases – Found in the Bookshelf Mods Subcategory
Study effectiveness of bookcases is now based on the bookcase cost. When a sim is studying Cooking, Mechanical or Cleaning from a book the study rate will be based on the most expensive bookcase on the lot, not necessarily the bookcase the book was taken from. Study rates will range from 50% (for the Billy Bookcase from the IKEA stuff pack) to 160% (for the Very Mysterious Bookcase from Apartment Life).
This mod has no effect on studying using the Education career reward, which still provides 200% study rate. Nor does it affect other skills, such as Parenting or Fire Safety.
335.) Visitors Behave – Found in the Visitor Mods Subcategory
Restricts some of the more absurd visitor behaviors, most of which were introduced in FreeTime.
Visitors can no longer use the dance bar (either the buyable one or the career reward), violin, DJ booth, computer, cauldron, spell book, or tent (they can be asked into a tent). They also cannot greet visitors or fish (they can join existing fishing). These restrictions do not apply to NPCs on the job or to community lots. It includes saner code to prevent resident sims from constantly starting/stopping the dance bar, blogging or surfing the web.
336.) Visitors Leave – Found in the Visitor Mods Subcategory
Visitors will quit their actions when it is time to leave rather than sitting there playing chess or pinball for hours while the family sleeps.
Visitors will be forcefully booted off the property when one of the following conditions is true:
– visitor is vampire and it is daytime
– there are no family members awake and present on the lot
You may notice visitors actually linger for 10-20 minutes after residents go to sleep or leave the property. This is because many activities such as teleporting set the “hidden” flag and make the property look empty for a split second, so I do the check twice a few minutes apart to eliminate false readings.
337.) Walk This Way – Found in the Sim Controller Mods
Sims will always walk rather than run when given the “Go Here” command.
338.) Walkbys Behave – Found in the Visitor Mods Subcategory
Five mods to control behavior of walkbys. Install the ones which correspond to behaviors you want to eliminate.
INSTALLATION NOTE #1: There are two versions. The first version kills the actions for all walkbys. The “-Furious” version allows sims who are furious or enemies to misbehave. Download only one of the zip files.
INSTALLATION NOTE #2: All five mods are included in each zip file, but TrashKick and TrashMess are not compatible. Install one or the other. TrashKick prevents walkbys (but not greeted guests) from kicking over the trashcan. TrashMess prevents walkbys from messing with the trash at all, which includes kicking, eating and foraging. If you do install both (probably because you didn’t read this) it won’t hurt your game, but TrashMess will take precedence.
339.) Want Changes – Found in the Wants Based Mods Subcategory
Tweaks on the logic for some of the wants.
– Baby – Zombies, bigfoots (bigfeet?) and servos don’t want to have babies
– Business – No sell want unless there is a cash register on the lot
– Dorm – No buy wants at all when living in a dorm
– Marriage – Romance sims don’t want to get engaged, married or joined. Marry a servo want only possible if the sim has a turnon to servos (this requirement will be ignored if you don’t have FT).
– Servo – Servos don’t want to do things which will kill them (espresso, hot tub, juice).
The mod is designed to complement wfsanity from MATY. It will show a conflict with that mod (engagement want), but Cyjon incorporates Pescado’s changes in his so as long as Cyjon’s loads last it will be fine.
340.) Wealth LTWs – Found in the Aspiration Mods Category
Sims with the Fortune aspiration can roll up the lifetime wants to max out Journalism, Music or Show Business.
341.) Werewolf Personality – Found in the Werewolf Mods Subcategory
Rather than continuously changing personality forever, giving all werewolves the same personality and making my Personalit-O-Nomitron useless, this changes personality only through the first 20 transformations. Transformations count only when the werewolf is a playable character so transforms when visiting other sims won’t adjust personality.
This means that werewolves will experience no more than +5 to playful, active and outgoing and no more than -5 to neat and nice. This gives a final personality that is related to their pre-wolf state.
342.) Woohoo Teens Bed Fixes – Found in the Adult Mods Category
Fixes Teen Style, IKEA and Apartment Life beds to work correctly with Jenflower’s Woohoo Teens. Also useful for InTeenimater users. This affects only the “Try For Baby” interaction. Teen woohoo already works correctly with these beds.
343.) Woohoo Teens Closet Fix – Found in the Adult Mods Category
Fixes closets to work with Jenflower’s Woohoo Teens.
344.) Yoga/Meditation Fix – Found in the Fitness & Workout Mods Subcategory
Yoga and meditation commands will no longer drop out of the queue if the sim is not currently selected. Now you can simply stack yoga commands so sims will resume when they fall.
345.) Yowling Cat Fix – Found in the Cat Mods Subcategory
Fixes bug where scolding cats for yowling made them MORE likely to yowl.
346.) Zombie Iron Stomach – Found in the Zombie Mods Subcategory
Zombies are immune to food poisoning.
347.) Zombie Personality – Found in the Zombie Mods Subcategory
Zombies now have personalities based on their original personalities rather than all being the same. With this mod, any sim that returns as a zombie will lose 4 personality points from each characteristic, giving them a personality that is a stunted version of their former one. Although this may seem like they lose more, it amounts to the exact same average point loss for the base zodiac personalities. Works for zombies from the Resurrect-o-nomitron, genie lamp or witch spells.
